7 Chapter 6: Night Stroll

"Lydi,Lydia!" I heard my name while soft hands shook me. " Ah, I wanna slee-pp," I protested half asleep." I need to show you something,"Logan whispered into my ear. His hot breath fanning against my neck and ears. I rolled over to face him." Logan, we have been through three stages today. It's night now and we start our adventure tomorrow. What time is it anyway?" I made a annoyance smirked. "It's 11:30pm," he replied. "Did you even sleep? " I asked. " Of course, I slept for two hours but I couldn't sleep so I went for a walk," he explained. I sigh. " We only had an hour left for sleep anyway." I sat up in my sleeping bag. "Where did you take this walk?"

"It's a surprise. Do you still want to see?"

"Fine, I want to see this magical place that made you disturb my slumber. But can't the others come?"

"They are sleeping; let's just go together."

The walk to Logan secret location took some time but it was interesting. I saw alot of mesmerizing glowing plants on the way. "We're here," Logan announced. "Wow," I was shocked by what I was seeing. "Isn't it beautiful ?I had to bring you here because I know after this we might never see such features again," werechis words. I was still speechless by the view. It was a tiny pool like hole and it glowed in the moonlight. It was as if they planted a million blue diamonds in it. He came closer to me but did not dare touch me.His handsome face had a bright pleased smile. " I love it," I finally said in awe. "Is it safe to put my feet in it?" I questioned. "Of course, " he spoke. I quickly took off my shoes and gently placed my feet in the cool water.It felt really good.

He too took off his boots and placed his feet in the water.We laid back on the grass watching the stars. "Do you see that star that shapes like a heart?" Logan asked. I looked to where he was pointing. "Yes it's unique," I replied then there was a long silence."Lydia I have something important to tell you," were his words.I spun around to face him."Yes?" We made eye contact.I swear time stopped and I could even hear my heart beating. "Lydia I know that this might not be the right time to say this but I need to tell you this for the sake that I might never see you again," he took a breath."Lydia I really-" he was cut off by Kaleb and Sunhi."Their you guys are?!" I jowl. " Hey,guys!" I said awkwardly then held my head down." We were just heading out to east. The safe zone will disappear in fifteen minutes," Kaleb spoke."Ok, but can I have two more minutes Logan was telling me something really important, " I explained with a smile."It wasn't that important," Logan stated with a disappointed facial expression. "Oh," I respond slightly saddened.I was really enjoying this event. "Then let's go!" I said with a fake smile.

For the next ten minutes that we had I got my stuffs before we head east. Logan and I didn't really talk during that time. I don't know why also it felt awkward.What was he going to say anyway? Whatever it was, I guess it wasn't that important since he rejected to tell me. "Odd there aren't any monsters here, " Sunhi said puzzled. " Sssh, there is two minute before safe zone," Annabelle stated with a eye roll ,"Don't wish us bad luck." Sunhi frowned. She was still slightly hopping but refused to take help." Safe zone as disappeared," we heard Miss Robot." Is it me or isn't this safe zone statement getting annoying," Annabelle frowned." Sssh," Kaleb began with a finger on his lip."I hear something." Back to back once again we took out our weapons and observed around the area. Then I saw something in red run to hide. "Did you runs see that?" I asked. "What?" they questioned back."I saw something move just now," I answered. "Who is it?" Sunhi asked dumbly. "Sunhi!" we all yelled her name. " What? suppose it's a human ?" she stated. " It can also be a dangerous predator wanting to kill us!" Annabelle yelled. "Ok, let's just keep our weapons up in case," Kaleb yelled kind of demanding.A little blond hair girl in a dirty old fashioned dress slowly emerged from the behind a old apple tree. She had bruises all over her skin and when she spoke her voice was shaking and small." Please don't hurt me."
