Chapter 2: Not What I thought

We hugged our parents tightly. This could be the last possible time we see them but we need to take our opportunity. "I am going to m-miss you. My little Lily and Lydia,all grow up and going to explore, " mom said with a sob. "I know,we are going to miss them but they need this; at there ages we weren't even lucky to be chosen," Dad stated patting mom on the shoulders,his either gentle smile pasted on this face. Mom nod, smiling proudly.

Lily and I quickly hug her. We backed off and smiled at our parents. Mom was wearing a yellow and white sun dress; while dad wore a blue soild V neck shirt and a loose black jeans. Me and Lily in matching rainbow bouffont dresses along with our black jelly shoes.

With our suitcase in hands we started our journey,but of course Dad had to stop us just ten steps away. "And girls please take care of each other,No getting in trouble !" he yelled. "Ok Dad..Love you guys so much," we replied kinda annoyed.

Arriving the Survival Field building was amazing! After our parents and us went our separate ways: we went to register our names at the Survival office so they knew we have agreed to come, then we took a huge red bus.The drive was long,about five hours; We passed through a lot of tunnels. We even met some of the other chosens,some nice and some not so pleasant.

So reaching survival field was awesome,drive was getting pretty boring. "Welcome all my fellow chosens," Mrs Willow voice echoed through the speakers. We were walking to the auditorm. As soon as I entered I saw her and she was looking gorgeous as always. "Everyone take a sit," she said all of us did so. She continued,"As you all should know the Survival Field is like a game. You will need to pass every level to reach the upper world. All twenty-five of you will be placed into groups of five. When I call your names please come for your smart holowatches. Lima Sui,Yuo Chuong,Violet flame, Kaleb Sparkling,Micka Pakerson." Each individual was called up and handed a holowatch. A holowatch is a smart watch from the future; that shows hologram and can store alot of information but I haven't owned one because they are super expensive.

When we got our watches she stated," These are important watches once you put them on- it can not be removed.Only I can remove them with this key," She showed us a tiny silver key on a necklace around her neck. " If you try to remove them,we will know and trust me there is nothing you have that can remove it,but if you most how manage to remove it. You will die," A evil smile ran across her lips when she made that statement. "These holowatches has everything you might need to know. It as your: time schedule, dorm number,the rules, danger alert system for the games, location tracker,group name it's colour,your group members names and your info data. What it can do is: send you message when a person died from your group or another, tell us where you all and send you message when you have passed a level/stage. The survival games won't begin until three days. Hopefully you will all be focus on your goal to survive. Let's see which five will survive until the end. That's all for today,you may all go to your dorms.

I looked at Lily, her face with stock. "Wow,this is going to be harder than I thought," were her words. "Yes,it's gonna but let's see what dorm and group we were selected for," I respond. She scroll through her watch and found her information in a info app. I did the same and found mine. "My dorm is 31,on the 2nd floor," she squealed. She was afraid of heights and didn't like the idea of being too far from the ground."Dorm 45 on 3rd floor," I spoke,no trace of excitement but rather disappointment. Lily's face too change to a hint of disappointment. "At least you won't be too far from the ground. Let's see what group we are in," I tried to lighten the mood,"Yes,I hope we are in the same group!" We both swiped left and saw our groups. She stated," Group Cliffy Cloudy, colour red." We made eye contacts. I started laughing at the werid name but then stopped. I look at my group. My heart dropped to the floor and my eyes felt up with tears. I didn't want this to happen;how can I watch over her now! How can I keep my promise my Dad. Survival is not even what no one thought. It's just a live or die game. I don't even feel lucky or blessed anymore.

I pulled my sister into a hug,resting my chin on her head. "Am-in-group N-ight Beauty colour purple," I stumbled over some of the words. "What ?" Lily yelled,"We were suppose to stick together but now we aren't even on the same side." Tears fell from her eyes little by little. I tried to come close to her. "Don't !," she yelled bitterly grabbing her suitcase then stormed off. Is she blaming Me? Lily I still love you. My little sister,same group or not she as to survive with me! I took my suitcase in hand with a deep breath in and out. I looked around. I was the only one felt in the building. It's a good thing no one saw what just happened.
