Both of us were caught off guard when this voice rang out.

Then before either of us could do a thing, the door suddenly slammed open.

No, it didn't exactly slam open since this was a sliding door.

It was kicked out of its frame and flew out into the room before two figures came in.

It was one medium height one with blonde hair and one short one with black hair that came in.

As soon as they did, there was a ball of blood that gathered behind the blonde haired one and there were talismans floating behind the black haired young.

At first Yan Ling revealed a surprised look, but then she revealed a displeased look as she clicked her tongue, "Tch."

Hearing this, the blonde haired figure and the black haired figure both pointed their fingers at Yan Ling and shouted at her.

The blonde haired figure was naturally Veronica who said, "You think that you can take him away and hide him from us?"

The black haired figure was naturally Kyoko who said, "You even tried to hide him behind this barrier? You really think that you can keep him from us?"

Yan Ling didn't say anything and just stuck her tongue out at them before turning back to me to say, "You still haven't given me an answer yet."

When she did this, she made sure to hug my arm again with her chest, causing me to snap out of my daze.

That soft feeling, it really was something else…

But that just served to infuriate both Veronica and Kyoko.

Though there was one that was much more infuriated than the other.

Both of them shouted, "Get away from him, you b*tch!"

Then both of them threw the things floating behind them at us.

There was a ball of blood that turned into a spike of blood and a talisman that was suddenly engulfed in blue flames to become a blue fireball that flew at us.

I was shocked and terrified seeing these.

This was my first time being on the receiving end of these attacks even though I had seen them before.

Yan Ling however wasn't scared at all, but she did let a sigh escape her mouth as she let go of my arm and raised her hand to gather a silver barrier in front of us.

The spike of blood and the blue fireball slammed into the silver barrier before disappearing without a trace.

There wasn't even a single ripple that appeared on the silver barrier.

That was how easily Yan Ling had blocked these attacks.

But these attacks weren't to hurt us in the first place, they were just to get us apart.

After throwing these attacks, the two of them immediately charged forward so that they could push Yan Ling away from me.

Then after that, Kyoko immediately came forward to poke Yan Ling in the chest before saying, "Oi, you dairy cow, are you really trying to use your udders to tempt him!?"

Though she said this to Yan Ling, she couldn't help also turning to look at Veronica's chest as well before looking down at her own chest.

Even though she was looking down, she was able to see her feet without any problems…

Veronica on the other hand turned to me and reached out to help me up as she said, "Are you alright? Are you hurt?"

The way that she said this was almost like she hadn't just thrown a spike of blood at me which had caused me to fall on my butt.

I slowly shook my head and took her hand before saying, "I'm fine."

After pulling me up, she quickly turned to Yan Ling and said, "Did this dairy cow do anything else to you? I'll punish her for you if she did anything!"

I shook my head again and said, "No, we were just talking."

Yan Ling gave a snort as she was being glared at by the two of them before saying, "How did you even find us? I made sure to get rid of your tracking talisman before coming here."

My chin dropped when I heard this.

Tracking talisman…was that the thing that Kyoko had used before?

That was the talisman that had released a flame that pointed in my direction, right?

Kyoko also gave a snort before saying, "Do you really think that I only have one on him? I have to make sure that he's safe, so I always put several talismans all over him!"

Then as if realizing that she had said something wrong, she quickly turned to me to say, "I just put them on you to make sure you're safe. They only tell me where you are at all times, they don't let me spy on you or anything…"

Her voice trailed off as if she was realizing that she was digging herself in a deeper hole.

So in the end, she just said, "It's just because I, I, lo, lo…"

She couldn't bring herself to say it in the end.

Veronica quickly turned around and stuck her head out before taking a sniff of me.

After sniffing for a bit, she said, "What happened to my marking? Why don't you have my scent on you anymore?"

Her scent on me?

Was that why the tanuki had mistaken him as a vampire?

Was that why the yokai had believed that he was a monster just like them?

That really explained everything…

Yan Ling just gave another snort before saying, "You're calling me a crazy b*tch? Do you hear yourselves right now? Look at all the crazy things that you've done to him."

I couldn't help giving a secret nod of agreement to this, but I felt that Yan Ling wasn't as innocent as she seemed.

"Huh?" Both Veronica and Kyoko immediately turned to glare at Yan Ling.

"You're the one that kidnapped him and sexually assaulted him with those udders, you dairy cow!" Kyoko shouted.

"That's right! You even put up a barrier around this place to stop us from coming in! That barrier completely isolated you from the outside world, so who knows what you would have done to him! You might have even taken his first time if we left you alone!" Veronica shouted.

Yan Ling just turned away and clicked her tongue again when she heard this.

Then she turned back and said in a powerful voice as if she was declaring something, "So what? I'm the one that he loves…spending time with the most! I'm his best friend, you've already heard him say it! So I'm clearly in the right to do this!"

"You're not even on his radar! He didn't even know you were a woman until you tried to attack him and you're saying that he loves…spending time with you the most! You're delusional! He spent the most time at my house when we were younger, so I'm clearly the one that he loves…spending time with the most!" Kyoko shouted back.

"You? Please, he just treats you like a little sister because you look like a little kid! He loves…spending time with me the most since I'm the most mature and beautiful out of all of us!" Veronica declared in a powerful voice.

"You, you, you! Who are you calling a little kid? I'm a mature and beautiful woman unlike you!"

The fighting became more and more intense before all of them suddenly gathered in front of me and said, "Who do you like…spending time with the most?"

Seeing them stand there in front of me like this, I only proved one thing.

In the end, I was the b*tch.

That was because without any hesitation, I went right past them and ran out the door like a little b*tch.
