76 Chapter 76 : Critical Condition

In the other side of the city, the lovely couple was enjoying themselves. Tang Wei leaning on Han Zhi Fan's shoulder while watching a documentary film. Truthfully speaking, she never liked to watch documentary film, however, it didn't matter what she watched as long as Han Zhi Fan accompanied her then she would feel enough.

"Let's go to bed if you are sleepy.", Han Zhi Fan suggested as he knew she had never liked to watch that kind of film.

She snuggled into his arms like a cat. "Carry me?"

"If only you kiss me."

She was about to kiss his cheek when her phone rang. She looked at the incoming call and she immediately answered. "Fei jie, what's the matter?"

"Wei wei, the chairman is in critical condition. The doctor says he.. tonight.. he might"

Though Long Fei didn't talk properly, Tang Wei could understand what she meant.

"I got it. I'll go there."

She sighed after she hung up.

"I'll accompany you.", Han Zhi Fan offered.

Through the journey, Tang Wei didn't say a word. She leaned to the seat and remininsced the past.

The time when she was still ignorant about her stepmother and stepsister's true nature. The time when her father cut ties with her. The time when she found out the truth.

They arrived at the hospital late at night and there were almost no one in the reception hall. They directly went to the eighth floor where the VIP rooms were.

"Finally you are here.", Xia Lin who was standing in front of a VIP room ran toward them anxiously as soon as she saw the couple.

"Stop the act. He can't see.", Tang Wei didn't want to go along with her acting. Her father was in critical condition, he wouldn't know even if they acted. Then why should she bother to? After all, she would also ignore her even if her father was conscious.

Tang Wei immediately left for the room, leaving Xia Lin stunned. She had always known that Tang Wei had realized all the bad deeds that she had done. However, Tang Wei had never truly shown her dislike so she would always act like a caring step-mother all this time. No matter what, Tang Wei was the legal heiress of the Tang family. She would treat her well before she was sure that Tang Wei was not needed in her and her daughter's lives.

In the room, the old man was having a difficulty to breathe even if he had a respirator on him. When Mr Tang saw Tang Wei, his hand waved weakly beckoning her to come closer.

"If you would like to apologize, then you should apologize to your first wife. Your act had brought calamity for your family and misery to your children. The deception that you did was a wound that would never be healed.", Tang Wei coldy stated. "So, don't apologize. Fix things that you have caused."

"You.. Tang Wei ! Are you human? Such an unfilial child. How could you say that to dad ? He is sick!", Tang Wen screamed.

Tang Wei only looked at her coldly "Him being sick. Isn't that what you have caused ?"

"You.. you.. Wine can be drunk but words should be said properly." Xia Lin said, protecting her child.
