chapter 1 a not so happy beginning

Amber was born into a unhappy family. Her father was an alcoholic. He would cheat on her mother and beat her when he felt like it. And things just got worse when amber came into the world.Amber remembered being scared every time her father came home!. She used to hide when she heard the door open. One day a police officer came to the door "are you miss Becky Woods?" he said to her mother "yes?"the police officer took his cap off "ma'am your husband well, he got arrested today he asked to see you". later that day her mother took Amber to one of her friends houses. When her mom came to pick her up she acted strange her mother never acted the same again. When it was time for Amber to go to school Ambers mom got into smoking and drinking. she would rarely feed amber and it showed. Until one of Ambers teachers called her the next day a strange man came to there house.Her mom was angry When he left he mom got a belt and beat Amber. She begged and pleaded for her to stop "Are you happy now you little, you little brat!!?"Ambers eyes filled with tears she ran to the closet she called her room and cried, and cried.One week later the same strange man came back and took Amber to a funny place called a or-fan-ag?. Later that month two weird smelling ladies took her in who later on in life she would know them as moms.
