Chapter 1: The Surpasser

Every gods from the god realms were slowing into their death end. So, Humans were given magical powers by the gods to protect themselves from upcoming danger, as all gods were nearing their end.

Maxim, a member of the royal family, was a highly talented student at the International Nepoli Overgeared academy, ranking among the top three magicians and remaining undefeated in battle. He was well-known throughout the country and had a group of friends who would eagerly await his arrival at school. Maxim was so popular that he indirectly ruled the class, and his mana test score was higher than that of the greatest mage king when he was Maxim's age.

Maxim, was a highly skilled and talented magician from the royal family, and was appointed as the class captain due to his exceptional performance in the Magic mana test. However, he declined the offer as he did not feel confident in controlling the class. Maxim was well-liked by his classmates and spent his days in the company of his 4 male and 2 female friends, who looked up to him and enjoyed his company. Maxim was considered a ruling figure in the class due to his exceptional magical abilities, as he scored 33 points in the mana test, surpassing the greatest mage king when he was Maxim's age.

After completing his classes he packed up his bag and said bye to his friends. While returning home from school, Maxim encountered a gruesome scene. The streets were crowded, and he found his maid dead on the floor with her body cut in half. Maxim heard his mother screaming from the second floor and rushed to her room, only to witness the mage king, Arlott, ripping her heart out. Enraged, Maxim blindly attacked Arlott, but his efforts proved futile, and Arlott effortlessly punched him, sending him flying through four walls. Maxim's father suffered the same fate, and in his anger and regret, he unlocked the powers of the aura of mage god of fire Vulcan, becoming the most powerful mutated human mage. Maxim single fist attack was that strong even half of the land was teared appart with the Arlott.

Although he defeated Arlott, Maxim was treated like a traitor and hated by everyone as they thought he was the one who killed the King as they didn't know the bad side of King . His friends ignored him, and his girlfriend even committed suicide. This emotional pain caused Maxim to become even more unhinged, destroying everything and everyone around him. His madness surpassed all limits, and he even surpassed the god level in power.
