Rang! Rang!

"Oh? It's morning already?"

I switch off my alarm and rubbed my eyes. The sun was already shining so I got up.

"Time to do my daily routine!"

Every day, I always do situps, pushups and other basic exercises. Having a healthy and muscularly lean body is what I needed.

I was not into these things but something happened to me past three years ago when I was still 16.

I fell in love with a girl and doing my best to catch her attention. Not just her attention, but her heart.

Things went smoothly and we became a couple. We've been dating for 2 years until I found out something that breaks my heart.

"I will not believe in love again."

I saw my girlfriend with another guy. And you want to know what really hurts? They have been dating as well for two months even thou we were still a couple

I was bringing cakes and flowers for her. It was our second anniversary and...

Its to be expected.

Last two years, I was short and having a pale body. I have heart disease.

I quit school at that time and decided to have heart surgery.

After that, my body was functioning normally.

Now, I have a muscularly-lean body. The nurses said I'm very handsome but I did not make it as a big deal.

All I wanted now is to go to college and study.

I want to repay my parents.

I'm still 19 this year. I want to go to college next school year.

Aside from that.

"I wonder why the house is silent?"

I thought I hear my mom saying breakfast is ready? After I finished doing my daily exercises. I get to the kitchen and was about to cooked breakfast.

Luckily, my mom prepared already while leaving a note at the table.

'Your dad and I will go shopping for a while, breakfast is ready to just eat it before it gets cold!'

"Mom is cheerful as always."

I ate then took a bath.

After that, I always open the TV to see what is happening to the outside world.

Dungeons, monster and other fantasy like existence appeared in the earth and people gain powers that you have never seen before as they level up.

It's like in MMORPG games, people gain classes and some others have special classes.

The world changes a year ago, currently, the highest level in the world is level 57. I even wonder why their levels are still small. Maybe the level up system is broken or it requires a lot of work?

"Why should I care about things like this?"

I don't care what is happening in this world. I just want to live a normal life with my family. I maybe don't believe in love anymore but I wanted to have my own family as well.

"It is already late? Why haven't they returned yet?

Mom and Dad left the house 7 in the morning. But They haven't come back? It's almost noon.

"I should try calling them."

I picked my phone and called their numbers.

"No signal? Where the heck are they!"

Both my mom and Dad's numbers were busy. I also tried to call my cousins. Maybe my parents visited them.

"They did not go there?!"

"Why are you nervous Ender?"

"No! It's fine! Thank you!"

I grabbed my chest, my heart is beating fast. Why do I feel so nervous?! Damn!

I get to the refrigerator and grabbed a cold drink to calm myself. I closed my eyes and inhale deeply.

I decided to sit in the chair and opened the tv again.

"A dungeon outbreak occurred in Riverside Mall! Hunters are running towards here to save as man civilians as they can!"

"Mel? How many casualties?"

"For now Ted, 10 people already died. Here is the list of their names, their body was recovered and they took the I.D to see they're Identities."

I dropped the remote while slowly closing towards the tv. I wanted not to believe it but I saw the names of my parents.

I wore my hoodie jacked and rushed towards the location.

"Damn it! Damn it all!"

Something appeared in my retina but with the emotions that I felt. I don't even know what to do.

My speed was fast that I can even equal a car at full speed.

"Why?!"

Hunters and police were everywhere.

"Mom! Dad!"

I rushed towards the lying body of my parents.

"Hey, kid?! What are you doing?!"

One of the police stopped me but with the feelings that I felt now, I send him away with a push.

"Why?! How?!"

It seems like the police was a high level but it only took one push from me to send him away.

I approached the lying... No, the dead body of my

parents.

My tears started to fall. My heartfelt the pain that I don't want to experience again.

"What type of monsters did this to my parents?"

"It was a goblin, the dungeon appeared was an E-class dungeon but the civilian was powerless.

I asked one of the police with a cold tone. He replied while shooting his head.

A goblin? It was one of the weakest types of monster. A humanoid body with green skin and ugly face. It was small but for the civilians, they can't do anything.

"Excuse me? What level are you kid."

The police did not saw my face, because of the hoodie that I wear.

"Level 1."

"You must get out of here! It's dangerous!"

A police girl said while shouting at me. I did not care and looked at the monsters. They were bringing blunt weapons and shields.

"I'm going to kill them all!"
