14 Golden Ape

After learning the ability, Edward asked the System to show him the map.

'Hum!?... why are there many beasts coming in my direction?'

Seeing many red dots in his direction, Edward was initially shook, but he soon understood.

"So its because of the smell of the blood."

Edward proceeded to leave that place.

Following the map, Edward got to the location of another monster. In front of him was a big Golden Ape.

"System, analyse it."

Reading his stats, Edward was not in panic, instead he cheered up.

'The stronger the monster, the more experience I get.'

Even though he was confident of a guaranteed victory, Edward didn't let his guard down.

The moment the Golden Ape saw Edward, it immediately started attacking.

Activating Lightning Steps, Edward evaded the Ape's first attack and with his hand he shot one gray ray of light, when this ray was almost hitting the ape, he was able to evade in the last second.

Seeing the monkey evade his attack, Edward was shook but he wasn't in panic.

"So this is the infamous animal instinct... it looks like it will be a bit harder then I thought."

While Edward was thinking how to kill the ape, the beast started running in his direction.

Watching the ape running towards him, an idea passed through Edward's mind.

The Golden Ape, seeing his enemy staying still, he was careful, even though his eyes had that careful look he didn't miss the chance to send a punch flying to Edward.

When the punch was getting close to Edward's body, he quickly crouched and with murasame he cut in the direction of the Golden Ape.

Reacting to this, the Ape tried to get back quickly, but with no success, even if his defense was stronger then Edward's, one small cut appeared in the beast's body, and through that cut a countless number of black marks started appearing in the Golden Ape's body.

The ape didn't panic like the bunny, instead he had a serious look towards Edward for a second, before his body fell to the ground.

After the notification of the System, a terrible headache made Edward wanting to pass out, when Edward was almost passing out, the pain suddenly disappeared.
