Cultivation Breakthrough

Tang Junxin screamed. It seemed like ice was freezing in his veins. Frost floated about him in a white cloud as he took a deep breath. His eyes, azure blue as the sea, glinted with a cold light piercing the veil of ice. Snow coated his hair with crystals of ice forming as jewels to adorn his hair. Snowflakes fell softly from his body as he slowly levitated in the air as if he was the god of ice.

The chauffeur, alarmed, stopped the carriage in its tracks. It came to a hurtling stop. He left his post and immediately ran to the back. Throwing the door open, he stared with incredulous wonder. Seeing the state his master was in, he knelt.

Throwing himself on the floor, he muttered incoherently to himself.

"...the true king...lord of the ice...how wonderful...master has become an immortal... the king will be overjoyed..."

Composing himself, he raised his head slightly.

"Master....what happened?" he asked in a meek voice.

"AHAHAHAHA!" Tang Junxin yelled in wild abandon.

Fang simply looked puzzled.

Then, Tang Junxin knelt down in front of Fang.

"Thank you so much, esteemed master! You've helped me so much! I had no idea this was possible!"

Fang still proceeded to look puzzled.

'Isn't this just removing a bottleneck? All I did was make it easier for him to cultivate by removing a few bottlenecks?' he thought.

"With your help, I might not need to cultivate for the next few generations!" Tang Junxin cried.

Fang put his arm on the ecstatic young man's shoulder.

"Did I really do that much?" he asked.

Tang Junxin looked at him, shocked. Could it be that this esteemed master did not understand the true impact of his help?

"MASTER!" he cried.

Fang looked alarmed.

"You've removed 20 bottlenecks! I cultivated straight through to the Immortal Realm!"

"I..." Fang began.

He frowned. He just infused a small percent of his power into the man. He truly did not expect this.

"Master! Because of your help, I shot through 20 realms almost instantaneously!"

Fang frowned.

"Master! I truly owe you my life now. I have decided that once we return to the palace, I shall implore my imperial father to give you anything you wish!"

Fang frowned again. Sighing, he accepted Tang Junxin's praise as the carriage resumed it's the journey to the capital.

Tang Junxin stared at his master with doting eyes. How powerful must he be to remove such cultivation barriers within seconds! His master must be someone who was secretly hiding his power as to not attract too much attention. He was truly fortunate to have found such a master and received his help. Smiling, he gazed at Fang, who was staring at the sky. His master had a pensive look on his face as if he was thinking of something profound.

'What is he wondering about?' Tang Junxin thought.

'What great and majestic ideas are running through that powerful brain of his?'

Fang stared out the window, resisting the urge to drool.

'I'm hungry... so hungry...,' he thought.

Smiling thoughtfully, Fang licked his lips. How sweet would this system be... Truly the best things in life were to be nurtured and grown. They were to be waited on and to be stored. They were to be cultivated and given the resources to grow.

[Since Tang Junxin has cultivated to such a realm, consuming his system will give you a better reward as it is a rare system that has also increased in power]

Fang smiled once more. Truly the best things in life were to be savored. Fine wines were to be locked up in the cellar until a moment of celebration. And this was the perfect opportunity. Smiling, he thought of how the system would taste.

'How sweet and savory... the flavor of an ice cold winter wine... simply wonderful ... I can't wait..'
