In a dark and silent night on a mountain, a young man wearing tattered clothes was walking alone. He was holding a bloodied sword in his hands as he walk up the mountains. His long black hair sways in the wind as he moves forward. His name is Shen Yu and he is not from this world. He was from the modern day Earth who died in an unfortunate event and his soul was transmigrated into this world occupying the body of a young man also named Shen Yu.

The Shen Yu from this world came from an aristocratic Shen family in the capital of Sacred Sun Empire. He was the eldest young master of the Shen family and was engaged to the most beautiful princess in the capital since his birth. With his father being the patriarch, he could get whatever he wanted without any problems. Everyone in the Shen family respects him.

But that all changed when his eight birthday arrives. It was also the time for the younger generation to check their talent. Everyone in the Shen family held high expectations towards him as he was the son of the patriarch who was the pillar of the Shen family. But who would have thought that when it is his turn, the person who was in charge would say that he didn't have any talent.

Everyone was shocked when they heard that, even he himself was shocked. But as the caravan that would send him and the other to the place where the evil cultivator lives. A group of bandits attacked the caravan killing everyone including him. After the Shen Yu from this world dies because of a single stab in his heart. The Shen Yu from the modern day Earth occupies his body.

A loud growling sound came in front of him and Shen Yu gripped his sword tightly. Seconds later, three wolves came out from the darkness baring their fangs towards him. Their gray fur was releasing a soft glow as the moonlight shines upon them.

"This dogs! Dare to see this young master as food! I will kill all of you!" Shen Yu jumps forward and immediately attack the wolves in front of him. His sword glittering in cold light slash to the wolf in the very front cutting its jaw apart.

The other two wolf seeing its companion gets killed, instantly attack him swiftly. The speed of the two wolf is great as he is forced to dodge them. One of the wolf behind him lunges forward seeing his back turns towards him.

Swish!!

The sword in Shen Yu's hand created an arc in the air and cut the attacking wolf in two. Taking this chance, Shen Yu immediately performed another swing towards the remaining wolf severing its head in the process.

After killing the three wolves, several notifications sounded inside Shen Yu's head.
