12 Eddie

Currently, Bill is on his way to Grandma Thia house. Earlier, Bill and John chatted for a while before Bill excused himself since he needs to go with grandma to meet the person that will soon be his teacher.

Bill also didn't forget to ask John an unused weapon. John didn't refuse Bill request since the previous attack of the sinner, making the situation on the city were kind of weird and didn't safe anymore. John immediately brought Bill into an armoury. There Bill can see many weapons like a sword, spear, bow, etc.

Because civilians were prohibited from bringing a sword inside a city, John gives him a dagger that at least can protect him from a thief or thug. But, Bill got something else on his mind. Because he in need of power, he needs to kill monsters. With this small dagger, how can it happen?

So, while John looked at other directions, Bill swiftly dragged a bow, sword, spear, shield, mace, axe, and 10 arrows into his inventory. Bill glanced apologetically on John back.

'I'm sorry, John, I'll return your favour later.'

With that, Bill brought six weapons along with him from the armoury.

Bill planned to hunt the monsters tomorrow morning but didn't know where is it. Is there any monster to begin with? When he walked from the place he first teleported to Lopez City, he never got attacked by monsters.

Bill rubbed his forehead and frowned deeply. He can't ask John or else he will get suspicious about Bill intention. Then he remembered a thing.

'Mine'

There is a big mine near Lopez. If it were as he thought, there would probably some monsters hiding there. He just hoped the one who hiding is not a boss, or else he would die the minute he entered the lair.

In a few minutes, Bill finally arrived at Grandma Thia house.

He quickly entered and greeted by the sight of Shea holding a messy looking cat.

"Please let me raise it, mom?" She pleaded with her eyes watering. It was hard to refuse when Shea using that trick.

"Okay, Okay! Just don't make the entire house wrecked by her." Grandma Thia helplessly said.

"Thank you, mom." She hugged Grandma Thai legs and scurried away while holding the cat on her arms.

"That kid." Grandma Thia shook her head at her daughter action. She then turned her head and startled a little finding Bill standing at the door.

"Why you standing there! You shocked me a little, you know?" Grandma Thia scolded Bill.

"Haha...I didn't want to disturb the show earlier." Bill starts laughing while scratching his back head.

"You little fellow." Grandma Thia shook his head helplessly.

"Let's go, Grandma." Bill stretched his hand forward and helped Grandma Thia walk.

"I can walk by myself, Bill."

"Its okay, Grandma. I don't want you to fall on the ground and making me embarrassed later." Bill jokingly said.

Grandma Thia reluctantly accepted Bill help. The older someone gets, the childish they will become. They will sometimes stubbornly refuse other people help even though they really need it.

Grandma Thia helped by Bill walked to a deserted area. Many homeless people are leaning against the walls or asking for money. If Bill didn't know John or Grandma Thia, maybe he will end up like them. Even though Bill was pitying them, it doesn't mean he would give them money easily. The reason? Its because he's also a poor person.

Grandma knocked on a wooden door which looked would break if someone kicks it once.

*Knock* *Knock*

There is no response other than chirping of birds.

Grandma Thia knocked once again, but this time harder.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK*

This time, a faint voice could be heard from the inside.

"yes~"

A moment later, the door opened. Surprisingly, the person w.ho appeared was not within Bill expectation. Bill expected the person who managed to make Grandma Thea expression turned weird would be an odd person like maniac scientist or its same kinds. It turned out the man actually looked handsome despite many wrinkles on his face. His face which was serious earlier when he opened the door turned gentle when his eyes spotted Grandma Thia figure.

Bill whispered to Grandma Thia. "Grandma, is he one of your suitors in the past?"

Seeing Bill whispered to his crush, the man face gradually darkening. "Don't you dare move inches closer to her, boy!"

Bill immediately feel goosebumps all over his body like a frightened cat, he swiftly returned to his initial position and straightened his back like a soldier.

"You scare the boy, Eddie." Grandma Thia reprimanded the guy before her.

"I couldn't help it since he dares to flirt with you in front of me." Eddie pouted slightly like a child although he's already old enough to be called an old man.

Grandma Thia tiredly rubbed her forehead. "Forget it, I got something to request from you."

Eddie eyes immediately sparkled hearing his crush needed something from him. "Okay, Okay. Come inside, babe! I apologize beforehand that the insides will be slightly messy."

Corner of Bill mouth twitched hearing a word babe come from the old man mouth. Bill about to take a step forward but stopped immediately by Eddie icily voice. "Who allows you to step inside?"

Bill body immediately went frigid, it as if Eddie voice held absolute authorities that he needs to comply.

"Stop it Eddie, or I'll leave." Grandma Thia speaks from the inside with a threatening tone.

"Okay, babe." Eddie reluctantly left the door and let the frightened Bill entered.
