Get up Ryu, get up son...be fast we need to move out and run"maria called to Ryu and tap him softly.

Ryu and his mother maria were being chased since the day the Han family of the golden parrot continent was destroyed.

It started on the day Ryu was born.

Ryu was born into the Han family with a powerful physique and bloodline which manifest a phenomenon of the five elements; Air, Water, Fire, Earth, and Wind which converged together in the sky to form a huge taiji diagram that also forms the illusionary body of war god figure inside the huge Taiji diagram, this phenomenon continues to manifest for nine days.

Ryu was already prophesied to be born heaven-defying, and the phenomenon on the day he was born further cemented their belief in the prophecy which lit the fire of war in the sky firebird kingdom.

The emperor of the kingdom and the other influential powerful family in the kingdom doesn't want to see the birth of such a heaven-defying talent so as not to overthrow or rule over them when he mature and gets powerful, so they start to conspire against the Han family ....and before the unborn child was even born, he was poisoned and died in the womb.

And that is also when Ryu also died on earth and transmigrated into the dead body of the unborn child and was later born as 'Ryu'.

The alliance of the whole kingdom should have destroyed the Han family if not do their family ancestor who is the most powerful in the kingdom...the Han family ancestor was the general of the kingdom before he retires and Ryu's father continue as the general, he was also a late spirit realm powerhouse which delayed the destruction of the Han family.

The emperor is also wary of the ancestor of the Han family so he plots to poison the Han family ancestor with a very potent poison called fire python venom which is generated from the alveoli of the rare fire python and he was later killed by the joint effort of the emperor and the head of the powerful influential family of the kingdom.

After the ancestor was killed, the Han family was also jointly destroyed by the emperor and the influential powerful families in the kingdom but before the Han family was destroyed, Ryu and his mother were escorted from the family ground with two guards at the earth realm, the guards were also later killed while protecting the mother and son duo.

"Creak...."Ryu got up from his wooden bed inside the dilapidated house where the duo seek refuge inside the forest.

Maria said"Ryu we need to move out of this house Lest they catch up to us, we are going to the fierce golden tiger continent to be far from the enemies"

They were divided into four parts by the blue sea which must be crossed before getting into another continent.

"Okay mum I'm ready to let go, we should move before dawn," Ryu said, they pack their small luggage and set off.

As they were moving towards the sea and conversing in the forest, after some time they heard a ruckus at their back, hearing footsteps they knew the assassin sent by the kingdom have caught up to them again.

As they start to run again they heard a voice they were harshly familiar with saying "you mother and son duo stop for the last time and we will grant you a quick death or let us go all the trouble and catch up to you and suffer a horrible death.

The duo doesn't answer as usual and were running frantically, maria said"Ryu get on my back you know I'm a cultivator I can run faster than you"

"No mom, I'm not getting there today, they are almost catching up to us, you should run faster "Ryu complained as he pants while running.

"Ryu we are not having this argument again get on my back Ryu so we can run faster or we will die here together "maria persuaded. But Ryu shook his head and say firmly "mom we had enough! I'm 17 years now, and they have been chasing us for 2 years now since the death of father and the destruction of our family, I can't get on the back...." as they were arguing they arrived at a dead end and stopped.

In front of them is a deep ravine, they stop at the top of the cliff.

"Now you know you can't outrun us, no matter where you go, oh, so there is a Ravine here that's why you stopped," said the boss of the assassin whose voice is familiar to the duo

"We warned you before to stop so we can give you a quick death or we will give you a horrible death, but now you make us go through all those troubles....we will hack you to pieces "after saying this, the assassin and his companion unsheathed their sword and charged toward them.

Ryu mother, maria says"jump Ryu, you will survive, your fate is strong you will survive, today was also prophesied we just don't public it, you too don't know but is it prophesied that you will survive besides you have a strong physique, I believe in you son live well and get strong, I will hold them off, I love you son, bye son," maria said with tears as she pushed Ryu into the ravine and face the assassin.

Ryu jump out of his reverie and was shocked from hearing the revelation from his mother while he was pushed, he shouted"No mom we can go together, we can survive together, no! Noooo"Ryu's voice echoes as he disappears into the ravine, his vision began to blur and he lost his consciousness.
