The Second Trial:Vather Dead?

Shane opened his eyes in the next moment as he checked his surroundings.He was in a battle ring and standing in front of him were three humanoid beings who were completely covered in some jade bronze crystal.They were all about 2.5 metres in height and all had a black spear in their hands.

A monotone voice rang out in the place:

"You are now at the 2nd Stage of the trial."

"Trial rules:Defeat the opponents.

"Only Physical strength and a spear weapon is allowed.Any other is a violation and challenge failure."

"Fight begins now."

Three spear immediately moved towards Vather with speed as his face changed while he quickly summoned his spear and slashed out with speed but he was immediately sent flying as he slammed on the wall and dug a hole in it.

Vather coughed out blood as his eyes widened from the raw power contained on the spear.It almost rivaled that of the giant he fought a while ago but it was even worse in that it was so fast it appeared to be a blur.

He had never before seen a spear art so fast.

A spear moved towards his face in the next second as it immediately pierced into it but it was only an after image as Vather rapidly moved out of the way.

A phantom of spear immediately moved towards him, piercing, slashing and sweeping with speed as Vather was immediately cornered and could only defend.Even that was proving to be a difficulty as he was being completely overwhelmed and without the use of his elements.He was fighting at a 50% of his true strength.

Hundreds of spear immediately moved towards Vather from all direction as he placed his spear horizontally and revolved it with speed around him successfully blocking the barrage but it didn't slow down in the least as it continued increasing and gave him no time to breath.

Vather blocked as fast as he could when his eyes suddenly constricted as one if the spear image spear heading for his abdomen suddenly revolved and pierced towards his neck twice the usual speed.

Vather's face changed as it was just too fast,time seem to have slow down around him as two thoughts appeared in his head

"To dodge the spear heading for his neck by stopping the revolving spears and using it to block the neck, hoping he'll be fast enough to block it and then be gravely injured by the other spear phantoms or continue blocking the other phantoms of the spear and hoping he won't die when the spear pierced into his neck."

Vather knew the the probability of him surviving from being pierced in the neck was close to zero as the attack were enough to send him flying into the wall.If it was to pierce into his neck then he'll immediately die in the process.But if he was to block the spear heading for his neck,them he'll be opened to the attack of the other spears and would be fatally injured by the attack.After that, he'll just become a sitting duck waiting to get killed.

The only two options lead to a single result:Death.

Fear, Anger, Regret.All the emotions run through him at the same time,but there was a single emotion that bloomed in him when the spear was about a centimeter from him.

Madness.

Since he was going to die anyway,he might as well bring them down with him.

Vather's eyes immediately turned blood red as he activated a technique he had only activated once before.

"Infinity Strength"

Ridiculously large veins surfaced from Shane's body as his upper parts bulged from the veins while his clothes were immediately ripped apart unable to contain his body.

Strength coursed through his body like a primordial dragon trying to break out of his body as Vather felt as if he will immediately explode if he didn't let out the energy

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR

With a powerful roar that made space quiver from it's power,a spear tore through the world with speed, immediately shattering space into nothing from it's power as the three figures in front of him were immediately blown into dust from the power.

Infinite strength was a technique that immediately doubles his strength to unbelievable levels so far he had energy to support it but due to the energy consumption,he can only use it for five seconds at his full peak and will be out of gas in the next moment.

But in this situation,he was only given a single second to strike back making him pour all his energy into his last strike to take down his enemy with him.

The world repeatedly quivered as the battle stage ground sank into the ground for about 2 metres,dust covering the entire place but everything calmed down eventually revealing the result of the collision.

A young man could be seen standing in the middle of the cracked ground while the three beings were no where to be found,even their blood was no where to be found as they've been blasted to pieces from the power of his suicide attack.

Shane closed his eyes as a sad smile appeared on his face.If one was to look at his figure well.A gaping hole could be seen on his neck that revealed the other side of the battle stage as blood dripped out of his mouth.Three more gaping holes were present on his body,blood oozing out of it as his gigantic body slowly lessened and became very lean.

He was like a 130 year old on his death bead,as they were not a single sign of blood present in him, having been reduced to bone covered in a worn out and rough skin.

The amount of energy present in him wasn't enough to activate Infinite strength but due to pure will, Vather forcefully activated the technique causing it to suck all the energy present in his body which were his blood and bones to utilize the technique.

He raised his head up to the sky as memories flashed in his eyes.The memories of his father, his memories of training with the spear when he was young, his memories of the small blue planet he calls home, his memories of the military, his memories of the Battle King, his memories with the infinity guardians, his memories with the Supreme Blood Heir.

His entire live flashed before his eyes,as he muttered to himself

"My..on..ly.reg..ret..is...not..bei...ng..strong..ger"

His head slowly dropped as the entire place was left with silence,as he even though all his energy has left him,his body refused to die kneeling as he stood there with his head dropped.Until the same voice echoed out

"You have completely passed the second and last trial in 30 minutes."

"You have achieved a score never before close to achieving: An Excellent Score"

"You will now be teleported to the location of the reward"

A burst of blue light covered Vather in the next second before disappearing, Vather gone with it disappearance.
