33 The Infinity Guardians

One moment they were standing in a part of the void and the next moment they were standing in a completely different part of the void.Vather mouth formed an 'O' shape as he looked around him.

He could see gigantic worlds thousands of times bigger than the devirs cosmos.He marvelled at how beautiful this area of the void is.Gigantic void beasts floated past them, some,countless times bigger than he is.Their huge wings spanning hundreds of miles long creating spatial cracks everytime they flap,as they entered into the huge worlds around him.

Vather found out that he could see the worlds as it looked inside as his gaze pierced through the worlds.Beautiful valleys and rivers, beautiful ecosystem, beautiful phenomenons occuring in the world that even he cannot explain.Thousands of different races moving around the world,their roars shaking the entire world,beings strong or weak moving about interacting.This was the most perfect thing Vather has ever seen in his short life.No discretion of weak or strong,No wars for supremacy,no fight for cultivation resources.He has never seen something so beautiful,the gigantic beings and beast he saw were radiating horrifying auras from them enough to crush him effortlessly thousands of times repeatedly if he ever tried to get close,yet there were in harmony with each other.

He saw thousands of worlds like that as the giant held him in it's hand every single movement of his enabling them to cross thousands of miles in a second.Vather felt himself at peace, whether due to the harmony present in the air or any other thing,he just felt this was home, he'll be satisfied if he can spend all his days in this place,away from the worries of the devirs,away from caring about the Abyssals.He felt for the first time completely free as he took in the beautiful sights around him.

"Do you see the beautiful worlds,can you see the meaning of perfection,most importantly can you see the peace and satisfaction on their faces.Can you see even the smallest of fears on their face,do you see a single fight or quarrel among them.For unknown number of years the Absolute Cosmos has been like this,a home for its people,the most peaceful place for its beings."

"It is perfect" Vather said almost a whisper as a tear drop floated down his eye.

"The Absolute Cosmos has made this possible,do you know why you can't see a single quarrel among them, because it has made them satisfied with what they have.

It has satisfied them equally,with the most perfect of all measures.It would all have been a beautiful dream, but only if there was only this Absolute Cosmos in Infinity"

"What do you mean"Vather asked as he could feel the smallest of sadness from the giant's tone.

"There are other Absolute Cosmos out there like this one, their numbers unknown.They are unlike this one.Where our cosmos is one that that wants peace and provide safety for the beings in it.

Some only want to grow bigger, stronger,to produce more inhabitants.That is their wills and it has also produce inhabitants with the same will.Those who only want to grow stronger, acquire more resources.They only know one thing,to keep getting strong.They will never know that it's the most tiring thing in the world.A monotone way of living where everyone strived to acquire more and more.They never knew to enjoy the little they have.It's not their fault, maybe.It's the fault of their cosmos will,which never provide for them the same,so there is a bloody quarrel for space and resources,by doing that do you know the one their conflicts benefits?"

"The Cosmos they live in.As they fight among each other,as they try to outgrow each other they satisfy the world's will." Vather said a blank look on his face as that was a relatively simple question.

"You can't be anymore right.As they get stronger they will move away from their world,since the resources in their world can't satisfy them anymore they will slowly leave the world invading others as they forcefully take away it's resources upsetting the perfect balance of the world,they become invaders.As they come into our cosmos they come with their wills also, corrupting our inhabitants.If they successfully corrupt the whole world,then the will of that cosmos will also be corrupted and become the same with the invading cosmos will,with this the cosmos will be absorbed by the invading cosmos making it grow bigger and stronger and then go off to another cosmos, it's a complete circle going round and the same forever.

Do you know why through the layers,there have been a striving for greater strength,greater resources that results in war.It's because we have been invaded by another corrupt cosmos" Vather sucked a deep breath in as he finally understood,why the unnecessary wars and conflicts.

"This was how our cosmos once was" the giant said a beautiful smile on its handsome face made of energy as his gaze roamed the thousands of worlds around him.

"No fights,no quarrel,no wars.Only harmony and peace but this is probably the only place in this cosmos that has not been corrupted,but even that is only yet."he said in a sad tone.

A deep anger was slowly forming in Vather as he couldn't imagine all the conflicts in the world was caused by something so stupid as trying to grow stronger.He couldn't imagine the perfect harmony in this place being corrupted as the beasts turn against each other killing their own for the purpose of becoming stronger.

"The Absolute Cosmos knew if it didn't do anything,then it's Will,will be corrupted and devoured by the invading world as the haven it has taken unknown amount of time to build will be rendered useless in a small amount of time.

So in self defense it produced another group of beings with the last remaining energy within it to protect itself from the invaders.These are beings supreme to all others it has ever produced.Beings who will be able to defend their world from the invaders.They will perform it's role of defending it's inhabitants,to act as their guardians.One of them is us.

Blessed with the powers of the cosmos,and bearing it's last will.We are one of the chosen ones.With our powers,we were able to rid the world of the corrupted will.

Do you know why the beings present in the worlds knew no insecurities.

Because they know we are always there,they know that as long as we are at the forefront they can always live their lives in peace,not a single fear will you see on them, because they have chosen to put their trust in us,and not for a single time have we disappointed them.

But although we're given the strongest of powers by the world itself.The beings we're defending against comes from a world that has devoured thousands of other worlds like ours and naturally it's beings will be stronger than ours.

We are failing in our responsibility,a sign of that is the layers that has been formed,and the line between the strong and weak that has been drawn within the layers.The battle for resources that occurs everywhere.

We are slowly being corrupted by invaders but many did not know.All we're trying to do now is take care of this one that has not been corrupted yet and ignore the ones that have.A foolish endeavor,one which even I myself know.But is it really our fault,who should be held responsible.

We the guardians for not being strong enough.

Or the beautiful mother that has provided for us,was to be blamed for not being strong enough.

Who Vather" the giant said as the voice pierced into every fiber of his being.

The word 'who, who,who' reverberate in Vather's entire being and for the first time he felt himself lost again as he was unable to answer the giant's question.

"I don't know".Vather said in a whisper as he found himself opening his eyes,a pool of blood below him as Vather slowly sat up from his lying position in the cave.
