Bringing his mom home in good health and sound mind was in itself a reward, a reward that would fill him with more bliss than whatever the Supreme Battle-Technology System had to offer him for the completion of the yet-to-be-classed mission.
"I just hope she is doing excellently fine wherever she is." Maxmillan said with unboundedly towering hope in his heart.

Then suddenly, space warped and distorted around his legs. Once the spatial distortion effect that occurred around his legs ceased, he could see the Ultra-High Velocity Traversal Speed Boots worn on them.
Observing them with great curiosity in his eyes, Maxmillan saw that they were shiny, hybrid plastic polymer-composite alloy boots that were coated with bright and dim hues of purple and crimson and were beautifully designed with technological aesthetic in mind.
"Must have been created using a futuristic 3D printer." Maxmillan said as he continued to observe the knee-high, sound-absorbent technological boots worn on his legs that made his footsteps completely soundless and gave him the passive ability to effortlessly sneak up on someone like he were a ghost.

'Knowing the boots will function for only ten hours before entering power recovery mode, I plan to utilize around 30 minutes of that time, allowing it to replenish. There's no need to deplete the entire 10 hours,' Maxmillan thought introspectively, wearing a contemplative expression.
Suddenly struck with an idea, Maxmillan declared, "I'm gradually making progress," a wide grin spreading across his face as he envisioned his inventory brimming with highly advanced futuristic equipments and weapons.
"But wow! Look at the large amounts of points required to purchase the boots. It's astonishingly massive. I am really glad I was rewarded with the speed boots, or how would I generate these amounts of points in such short time to purchase it? It is even capable of upgrading and fusing with another item. This is marvelous and amazing."

Immediately he said so, the Ultra-High Velocity Traversal Speed Boots worn on his leg immediately vanished, returning to the Inventory.
He didn't even try to check the other items, as he could already guess their functions and abilities through their names.

As morning dawned, around 5 am, Maxmillan, who had spent the entire night pondering his mother's situation without sleep, promptly rose to his feet with a determined resolve to find her.
His sole mission was to bring her back, fervently hoping she remained unharmed, fearing the worst—extermination. If anything befell her, Maxmillan swore never to forgive himself, Shining Lake City, and the Floating Lotus Academy.
In fact, he pledged not to forgive any Astra Mystralis user. He would transform into a vengeful, life-seizing chaotic force, akin to a demon unleashed from the deepest pits of hell. He, driven by boundless rageful vengeance, would endlessly snatch the lives of every Astra Mystralis user.
Sensing Maxmillan's intention to depart for the city, Nailah and Lylla abruptly awoke from their slumber, swiftly leaving their rooms. Their purpose was clear: to persuasively engage with Maxmillan, attempting to change his mind about the impending journey he was about to undertake.
"Maxie, are you already leaving to go search for mom?" Nailah asked with gleaming curious eyes.
"Yes, big sister. I am leaving to go find mom. And I promise to bring her back, safe and sound." Maxmillan said with a strong light of determination and resolution flooding out of his eyes which impacted his two sisters.
The moment his intense gaze fixed upon them, Nailah and Lylla found themselves captivated by the unwavering glint of resolute determination reflected in his sharply focused eyes.
After a while, Lylla who was first to recover from the effect of his gaze, asked, "But brother, let's say you arrive in the city and find out that mom is in trouble, what exactly are you going to do about it? And it's not like you can use Astra Mystralis and cast protective magical effects around her and yourself. So, what are you going to really do?"

Maxmillan laughed.
"I don't need Astra Mystralis anymore. I am my own caster of grandiose phenomenal effects. Just wait for the good news, my two beautiful sisters. Our lives will once again be complete with the return of mom to our home!" Maxmillan said with an unfaltering tone in his voice, before immediately heading for the door to leave the house.
As soon as he arrived outside the house, space warped and distorted around his legs before two dual-colored, technologically fancy, robot limb-like boots that produced soft whirring sounds due to the powerful propulsion tech built in them, appeared on his legs.

The boots each emitted imperceivable whirring sounds as they operated, before beginning to produce imperceptibly-low humming sounds that emanated from the boots, indicating that the hyper-speed spatial accelerators that constituted their in-built propulsion tech, had charged to a certain level of power for usage.
