As I opened my eyes, there was a translucent ceiling that came into my vision. As the blur went away, I could see that the whole room was transparent and I could see the stars and nebulae all around the room. But the first thing that came into my mind was...

"Who am I ?"

"...ugh..." As the new memories swept through my brain I remembered my childhood, my teenage years, and later years. I was quite young around 25 when the accident happened.

I waited for several hours for all the memories to sink in, then after clearing my thoughts I reviewed the memories of my last moments. I was researching a recently discovered particle which was a closely guarded secret between our core group of six. Only these people knew what a revolutionary discovery this was. We had to give a report to the government and the world about it later but we wanted to have some tests ourselves before we published the papers. The day the accident happened I was tinkering with the boson splicer for modifying the state of the newfound particle. I switched on the splicer and ran a 5-minute supercharged splicing macro for this test. As the automated diagnostic simulation was running before

the test I opened up my phone to check the forums. There were some messages from my sister about a weekend family party. I tend to ignore all messages during my work hours but my sister's messages are always allowed. I quickly replied to her that I wouldn't be able to come because of an emergency, but as I was typing the splicer suddenly rumbled. I went to the control interface to see the anomaly but the attributes and calibration were fine, I checked the equation I put in which was slightly modified for this operation. The diagnostic simulation showed an error in the operation. I thought the equation need to be further calibrated. But the splicer was still rumbling and heating up. I tried to cut off the power but before I could reach my vision faded at that instant.

" What happened after that ?"

[ At the moment when the quantum field erupted your body was turned into energy particles but your consciousness was closest to the origin hence you somehow resonated and attached yourself through the quantum field.]

" Then how my body got recreated ?"

[ Due to your memories, the quantum field had a mutation and recreated how you remembered yourself in the field. This recreation of your body is entirely your imagination.]

" Then who are you or I should say what are you ?"

[ Yes, you have been given an interface for advanced screening and converting all quantum phenomenon into a graphical interface. With this interface you can see the ins and outs of all underlying laws of the world.]

" How do I access this ? "

[ It's in your subconscious. When the quantum field erupted your subconscious chose to interpret the data this way. It could have been different for other consciousness or organisms. To access it you have to imagine an interface or attach a codeword that the system could respond to.]

" Oh well, I guess I will try the normal GUI design, hmm.." As I imagined the system a transparent control screen like a status window popped up in front of me.

" Oh.."

" Oh, so this is like an RPG game system. How fascinating."

[ It has been calibrated as per your subconscious and you can change its appearance and data in the advanced settings. ]

" That's convenient."

I quickly went to the edit option and changed the species from homo sapien to human.

" That's about it. So where the hell am I and how long have I been out? "

[ You have been in the reconstruction phase for 3 years and This room is actually a static chamber created for your human needs like air, water, and other materials. This chamber can be hidden inside your subspace, but your subspace is not created yet and you will have no atmosphere after moving it. Due to the process of recuperation, this static chamber needs to stay in one place. So the earth has moved away 127 astronomical units away. ]

" Shit, are you telling me that we are in the middle of literally nowhere ?"

[ You can activate your Quantum teleportation and register it as a skill and I can calculate the Earth's position. Then we can get there in no time. ]

" I know quantum teleportation in theory but how can I make it into a skill? "

[ You have to reconstruct the equation in your mind and use the quantum force channel to reinforce the Visualisation and calibrate the equation for the organic body and also take into account the movement of the space.

Then you will see a message saying new skill, you can name it anything you want and it will be registered in your skill window. ]

" Oh.. okay "

I tried to imagine the equation in my mind and the quantum field was aiding the process by providing computing power. You can think of the quantum field as a chain of quantum computers that stretches the whole universe. I can guess that my actual consciousness is on the quantum field and my body is just a medium for interacting with the physical world.

This feeling is like I have transcended the 4 dimensions of the universe. I can feel the other spatial dimensions through the quantum field. I can vaguely feel that the quantum field isn't mine, I am just an entity residing in the field. I have my own domain that stretches countless light years. I can not find any other entity inside this universe. Is it because there are no entities like me yet or they are not here in this universe. I stretched my consciousness throughout the cosmos and to the edges of the universe. it feels empty like there is no quantum field to expand. I used all my concentration to construct the equation using the quantum force channel and tried to make a bridge between two ends of the universe using quantum tunneling.

After a while, I opened my eyes. The equation is properly visualized by now. I saw a system notification in front of me asking to name the skill.

I thought complicated names will be a hassle so I gave the skill a simple name.

I said " Yes". I could use it as a touch screen or mind command too but here I used my voice. I don't like one type of interface, a variety of input methods is much better. I can use the mind command when I am in a

tough spot and other times voice and touch will do.
