Ice Element

"Prince, I can't believe your rapid changes." Sir John blinked, looking at Al Casendra with his mouth a little ajar. It happens a couple of days when the prince has a sudden affinity to the Ice Element.

Though he found it difficult to believe at first. He had to accept the fact that the prince now has magic. Besides, it gave him hope.

Standing 50 meters from him, Al Casendra, with a light smile and dressed in a training suit. His chest was moving up and down, and a bead of sweat dripped from his forehead. He waved his hand and took a fighting stance.

"Oh, don't get cocky because of your little power." Sir John twisted his lips, gathering a swirl of green wind in his palm. 'Let's see how you dodge this. '

Swiss!

The wind attack shot at Al Casendra furiously, raising a little cloud of dust. Al Casendra's face was devoid of any emotion. He waved his hand and a bullet of ice flew with a sharp, pointed tip. Bang! The two attacks collided. The ice attack shattered into pieces while the swirl of wind continued to dash toward him.

'Humph. If one Ice Bullet isn't enough, then what about two or more? ' The corner of Al Casendra's lips raised a bit. He took a deep breath and sent two icy bullets continuously.

Bang!

The temperature in the training field dropped by a couple of degrees. Around Sir John, his robe flaunted backward. A strong gush of green wind revolves around him. He took a step forward with a mischievous smile. He waves his hand and two wind discs whistle toward Al Casendra.

Without further ado, Al Casendra took a couple of steps backward, sidestepping the wind disc attack and sending multiple ice bullets. Shatters. The ice bullets shattered continuously, forcing Al Casendra to retreat.

'Fck! I can't defend this attack. ' Al Casendra cried in his heart. It drenched his back in a cold sweat and his muscles tightened. He squeezed his body and sent two giant ice bullets toward the attack.

Bang!

The two ice destroyed one of the wind disc attacks, leaving only a single wind disc a few feet away from him. Left with no choice, Al Casendra side steps to the right, bending his body. Despite this, the wind hit his shoulder, sending him flying.

"Get your ass moving. You don't just wait for your enemy to attack you." Sir John's crisp voice echoed in Al Casendra's ears.

Al Casendra rolled a couple of times on the ground. A slight trace of red liquid appeared at the corner of his lips. He licked it and stood quickly. When he raised his head, another two wind discs were already closing in.

'Shit!'

He tried to summon another ice bullet. Suddenly, a slight groan escaped from his lips. His lips trembled and his pupils dilated. He took a deep breath, abandoning the icy attack and rushing toward the wind disc attack.

"What a stupid move." Sir John snorted.

As Al Casendra tried to evade the wind attack, he was caught in the crossfire. Before he knew what was happening, He flew in the air. A rush of wind blew in his face. Observing this, he shrank his neck and muttered. 'Fck me!'

Bang!

Al Casendra crashed a couple of meters backward, rolling on the grassland, holding his chest. Blood rushed to his face. He puked blood and his face turned pale. He raised his head and raised his right hand.

"What!" Sir John pursed his lips and snorted. "Don't tell me you're already giving up." He cringe and the swirl of wind around him disappeared.

Al Casendra groaned and got on his feet with some difficulty. He looked at Sir John and squinted his brow. 'Don't worry. Just enjoy it while it lasts.' Holding his chest, Al Casendra stumbled out of the training ground.

'The prince is getting stronger every day. What the hell happened in the... ' He raised his head and looked at the blue sky, taking a deep breath.

'What did he call that thing? Hmmm. Bunker. Yeah, bunker. But I guess whatever happened in that bunker was related to his research. ' He shook his head slightly and departed from the training ground. Just then, he halted his footsteps.

"But wait, where is the white fox?" He exclaimed silently, looking at the Al Casendra courtyard.

....

Sitting on a brown wooden chair with a medium-sized reading table. Al Casendra, in a fresh blue robe, held a parchment in his hand, reading seriously. Creak! The door opened and his female maid entered. She stopped a couple of feet from Al Casendra and bowed.

"Prince, Millie Connor wants to see you," Lily announced.

Without moving his head from the parchment, Al Casendra waves his hand. When Lily saw the hand signal, she retreated without uttering a word. Shortly, a middle-aged woman entered the study room.

"My prince." Millie bowed, holding the hem of her robe with a deep glow of reverence.

Closing the parchment, Al Casendra raised his hand and gestured her to the seat. After taking her seat, Millie looked at Al Casendra for a moment and uttered.

"It has been a week since the beast attacked. We knew that at any moment, the beast could attack. So, I came to renew my family ticket."

Immediately Al Casendra heard this, he picked a parchment from the bunch on his table and gave it to Millie.

At once, Millie opened the parchment and read the content. Shortly, her eyes widened, whilst her jaw slackened.

"Is this possible?" Millie gasped. Her eyes bulged, shaking her head vehemently.

With no expression on his face, Al Casendra wrote something on the parchment and showed it to her. When Millie read the content of what Al Casendra wrote.

She staggered. Her hand trembled. She opened her mouth, but no word came out. Millie shrank her head and left the study room with a heavy leg.

Outside the study room, Millie came across Sir John, and her eyes brightened a little. She approached him and gave him a slight bow.

"Sir John, can you please tell the prince to change his mind? It's impossible to complete that job in the shortest time." She complained.

"What work?" Sir John wrinkled his brow. He narrowed his eyes, looking straight into Millie's eyes.

"This" She gave him the parchment.

When Sir John read the content, the corner of his mouth raised a bit. What in the world is the prince up to this time? He cried in his heart. He kept on his poker face. Sir John looked at Millie and snorted.

"You are to dig a pit and you're complaining." He threw the parchment back to Millie and waved his robe, leaving without looking back. "If you can't do just that simple work, what right do you have to stay in the…. B—Bunker."

'Why would the prince need such a pit — no tunnel?' he furrowed
