1 The raptures start

Billy young a small gangly man walks towards the bus stop his demeanor is one of malice and hate as he observes the people around him. " huh finally at least I went out standing up for someone like me." a loud breaking sound comes from above his eyes shoot open and he sees a giant figure wreathed in light leaning over the world through what looks to be shattered sky all around him. as the being starts to speak a loud ringing can be heard in Billys head so loud it feels as if his head was going to split. I have watched for thousands of years as you humans have separated and subjugated each other. I have seen more and more that you are incapable of coming together. " those of you with hidden skills are the only ones in your class to have this skill. your first mission is to survive the rapture. A red screen comes into view that says survive the initial attack there are 2 enemies nearby. his muscles relax as the ogre connects with the previously thrown punch throwing billy into the wall. barely managing to hang on he spits up blood and stands the woman at the stop stands and brandishes a katana she stands still keeping the blade in its sheath. "nows my chance lets use strengthening bonds. the incantation floods his mind and rolls off the tongue flawlessly. " let these bonds we have made strengthen your blade." she shines with a brilliant light as the beast rushes her without missing a beat as soon as the ogre enters her range she pulls her blade straight through its torso leaving a huge gash and throwing it to the ground. as blood leaks from its body, it lays still. she approaches billy and extends her handpicking him up off the ground. "Thank you for stepping in before without you. I probably would have lost myself to fear but something about your guts to stand up to him before made me stand and fight I thank you. " as she shakes his hand billy recites another incantation. "Let your blade be quickened by my resolve." she gets a faint green aura as he yells for her to duck as the ogre strikes from behind he rolls out of the way and she jumps over the creature as a big wooden club swings past where they where. she pulls her sword. "is this guy still alive." " Yeah if you look at the top of your field of view there is a tracker that tells you how many creatures are left." " it says there are two." "I know let us finish this guy first then focus on finding the second guy." the ogre swings wildly missing every swing due to the pair's increased speed. billy checks around his body for a weapon and finds a strange-looking gun a small pistol with a white handle and black slide but the barrel was just a shallow divot in the metallic surface of the gun it looked like a well-made prop for a cosplay. rolled backward feining a grave hit using his strength to throw himself into a nearby shops window the ogre turned toward the woman. a loud shot rings out from the shop. as a blast of air fires out and into the ogre it stumbles and falls to the ground the woman takes the opportunity to cut the creature's head off. after the creature died another screen popped up. your abilities have been noted you have again been noticed you may choose a hidden skill Helpers tax II: gain more XP for assisted kills or mirrored strengths share your stats and buffs to all saviors you chose within line of sight. billy chooses mirrored strengths the prompt says correct and gives him the hidden skill. he looks over to the woman and asks if she's okay " I'm fine thanks for the help those are some skills you got there you made me stronger and faster my name is Lilly holt what's yours." No wonder we made such quick work of that guy. let's look for the last one. screams were coming from that direction let's check that way. the two of them ran and eventually stumbled across a gruesome scene four dead bodies lay on the ground with various slashes and cuts across their bodies Billy runs forward but Lilly stops him from getting too close. Lilly puts her hand on billy's shoulder and walks toward the bodies. as she approaches a quick short figure darts from beneath the bodies it raises its knife to attack Lilly but she blocks the strike pushing the creature back. the creature a short goblin smiled eagerly and ran towards Lilly she swiped at him but he was too fast and jumped over her and headed towards Billy. He raised his gun and let off a shot he hit the goblin in its arm knocking it to the ground. it quickly sprung up and threw its knife into billy's leg and jumping toward him the goblin bit into Billy's neck threatening to rip his throat apart. Lilly's sword stabbed straight through the back of the goblin's head inches away from Billy's throat. the goblin was slain 250 XP. Bright light shines over the city as a large tree grows up through a sky scrapper.days left to complete:10.

The two manage to travel to the tree a few saviors had quarantined the great tree and dispatched any monster that came out. within hours people had entered the tree only to disappear the moment they crossed the threshold. Any attempt to enter after the first group would end in you walking into and then out of the same gate refusing access if you tried to enter you would get a prompt saying access denied until completed or failed. Hours later the tree pulsed and a giant prompt was shown over the tree your failed attempt has bolstered the spirits of the tree enemies inside gain stat boosts for every slain savior. After that, the strongest saviors barred the entrance and called for volunteers. Billy and Lilly both signed up for the next crew set to go. Billy and Lilly both rushed in toward the creature. it attacked Lilly with great speed and ferocity knocking her into the air Billy fired shots from a distance the monster shrugged them off like they were nothing Billy used both his skills on Lilly. and she sprung back into action now barely having the upper hand striking with shallow cuts the monster yells out. none shall stand in my way the reward for killing you shall be mine. a prompt shows above the monster that says for each kill the fallen savior gains XP based on the killed saviors level. the fallen lifts its sword and screams Dark cleave as his sword is wreathed in dark flame. Folds of darkness his body is cloaked in dark flame his movements change he becomes more aggressive with his swings. as Lilly blocks the,m they start to break through her guard. her arms start to shake as each hit hits harder and harder her breathing starts to get heavier. she has refrained from using her skills not seeing any opening in the man's defense. Billy, I need the big one. Billy chants the incantation. May my power be yours to command. she glows white and starts to make distance between herself and the monster. he laughs and throws his sword at Billy and rushes Lilly. The sword grazes Billy and ignites his clothes burning him and draining his strength. it continues to burn but only saps his strength. Lillysqures her stance and grabs her sword releasing it from its sheath with a crescent slash as brilliant light shines from the sword cutting through the creature.the flames that wreath its body and the swords extinguish and the creature falls. she walks past it toward Billy as she steps near the creature it tries to surprise her she was too ready for this attack activating her zone of influence slicing from the bottom of its jaw to the top of its head standing calmly beside it as its face hits the ground. I knew you were still alive I hadn't received any XP from you yet Billy and Lilly received the same prompt event cleared fallen defeated. XP 1500 received Lilly Level up. Level up. Level up. All of my skills ranked up after that but that is diabolical we still have a chance of turning. Wallace steps up As Lilly stated we can't let our guard down this place was made to kill us. stay alert and let's move towards that big tree in the distance. on the way to the tree, the group encountered a thick fog Wallace stops the group and tells them to stay close and watch for anything. as they march through the fog figures rush through the fog around the group whispers can be heard and before too long people start to disappear from the group a woman screams and is never seen from again after a few people vanish. the fog fades standing there is almost half of the people standing who were originally there names start to be called and a person can be seen rushing through the trees a healer runs after the person "don't worry ill save you" as she runs the earth opens beneath her and vines grab her Lilly cuts the vines before she is pulled beneath the earth. five plant creatures jump out of the ground the bodies of the missing members adorn the outside of the plants. some of the fighting force are frozen in fear thinking about having to cleave through their friends to kill these creatures. Wallace raises his spear summoning a horse. he shouts granting those around him a buff. leaders charge grants 5% of the leader's strength to those who hear their leaders call. " let's give them the send-off they deserve the team yells and rallies. cut where they are being held let's give our men the burial they deserve. with their newfound resolve, the team attacked. as they cut the people loose they find them still breathing alive just sleeping and gravely injured. after the last of the creatures is culled. Wallace gathers all of the healers together around the injured a woman who goes by the name of max evaluates the injured she finds that they are poisoned and sleeping there are acid burns on their backs. I believe these creatures like venus fly traps capture their food and slowly eat them. the good news is the poison only keeps the food docile but the burns are the real problem the amount of damage caused has pretty much-taken half of our force out of the fight. We have lost a good chunk of our support group we are left with two healers and one enchanter. Wallace, what's the plan here? Wallace stands staring vacantly at the situation. Billy noticing his hesitation put his hand on Wallace's back I'm sure we can handle this. Wallace relaxes a bit and regains his composure. You're right all noninjured regroup everyone. apply all your buffs and healers save your MP for healing. max you're with us the rest of the healers stay and protect these guys. I need a few tanks and damage roles to stay behind to help out the rest follow us to the tree. Everyone falls into position and heads to the tree. as they arrive the grandness of the tree can be appreciated the bark a pale white raise into bright white leaves that vanish as they fall from the tree like rain. a bright white prompt comes to everyone in the dungeon. the lord of spirits has awoken. new event: kill the lord of spirits. reward b class equipment. whoever strikes the final blow gets the legendary item spirit Lord's locket. The tree's bark pulls apart to reveal a ghostly-looking woman with her hands crossed over her chest. She looks up and lets out a violent shriek. another prompt comes up. voice of the spirits debuff active. all who hear the voice of the spirit are afflicted with soul drain and slowly lose maximum health. the spirit lord floats from the tree and charges toward the humans. Wallace raises his halberd and yells charge!!! we have limited time but we shall prevail. everyone charges the spirit Lilly leads the charge as she closes the gap between her and the spirit she uses her zone of influence and cleanly slices through the spirit's chest. Her blade flows through the body of the spirit doing minimal damage. she jumps back and uses her crescent strike the ability hits throwing the spirit to the ground. she jumps back and yells magic has more effect on the creature tanks take her attention while our supports and attack mages ready attacks. Billy raises his pistol and fires shots into the spirit each making the creature stagger. after a barrage of spells hit the creature. lets out another shriek summoning more spirits from the tree mimicking creatures they have fought up to this point the battle is overwhelmed by the creatures. the saviors start to get pushed back as people get killed. billy activates his hidden skill mirrored strength and the saviors begin to hold their own pretty well as most creatures can't keep up with the savior's movements Wallace strikes the spirit lord running its spear through the spirit lord.the lord rushes Wallace and cleaves through his chest Wallace falls to the ground shivering the attack heals the spirit a bit. Lilly scoops Wallace up and pulls him to the backline.Max, please heal him. she finds billy and tells him to follow her to the front line. they charge the spirit. as the two fight, their movements synergize and manage to keep the spirit at bay. the spirit rushes the two and Lilly throws billy into the air Lilly uses her zone technique to dodge the incoming attack as billy shoots five shots into the head of the creature. the creature shrieks and implodes into a bright light. billy falls to the ground the locket materializes in his hand and the stats are shown allowing the wielder to mimic the abilities of a marked survivor MP +200 as everyone else gets their reward Lilly gets a new katana with a plain-looking hilt 1000 fold saber: this edge of the katana is so sharp it can cut through even the strongest of shields armor penetration +10% damage +250 those cut by this katana are afflicted with bleed slowly losing health. Guilds were created the top guilds in America are gods receivers pure gold and rising tide. after a few days, the first dungeon to go without being completed the silken palace spilled hundreds of spider creatures into the surrounding area the dungeon remained but spews more and more monsters daily. creating the silken palace disaster zone. Billy Lilly Wallace and max have spent the time since the tree training and honing their abilities only clearing monsters from the silken palace disaster zone. billy acts as leader of the group strategizing and bringing out the potential in all of his crew. they later used the money made from securing the disaster zone. they created the guild mornings light. they made a name for themselves as one of the most cohesive guilds out there. Wallace owned an apartment building before the rapture so they turned it into their headquarters. 2 months later a man knocked on the door of the small manager's office connected to the apartment the team used as their HQ. Wallace opened the door standing in front of him is a man dressed in a grey suit with a scar across his eye. Is this the morning light guild? Wallace with an intimidating demeanor asks. But you all know that with each savior killed by a monster belonging to a dungeon all monsters in the dungeon get stronger. this dungeon was previously a rank c dungeon on the final day spent trying to clear the dungeon it evolved to a b rank dungeon it has now evolved again to an A rank dungeon. I WaS JusT HaVinG a little FUN.he puts a bubble over the guy. the man slams his hands against the bubble and max gets a prompt. event start those chosen by darkness. defeat the one protected by darkness. the man starts to emit a dark aura. you have no idea who you're fucking with your puny barriers mean nothing against the tides of darkness. he moves his hand and the barrier shatters with little effort. run!! max lets the girl out and puts up another barrier between him and the woman. the man charges max hitting him square in the face sending him flying into his barrier. the man continues his assault pummeling max to the ground. the man steps back laughing is that all you have I thought you were weak but you didn't even put up a fight. max stands up and wipes himself off. you thought that was enough if that's the extent of your power you are better off giving up. my role is pretty strong and my hidden skills aren't that bad either I'm a hero class saint my hidden skill is an activatable effect called saints bolstering aura anyone chosen by the saint is granted increased strength and speed they also heal over time. he steps immediately behind the man. I've lost interest here.the berserker moves much faster than he did before closing the distance between him and max quickly. oh Shit. max jumps and barriers the pads of his feet being thrown into the air max forms a barrier to stand on at the precipice of the throw. wow, I really can't play around with this guy. max jumps down onto another roof and heads towards the apartment complex it's only 2miles down the road from where he is. the boss monster is close behind him. the man grabs Max's leg as he tries to jump to another building. the monster slams max violently into the building below they fall into the building. he continues to beat him into the ground. max barely managing to keep up his defenses he wraps the monster in a skin-tight barrier and pushes him into the air the monster struggles violently. the barriers hold tightly as a brilliant white slash cleaves through the monster max drops the barrier and jumps to the roof dropping the monster into the building. Lilly what the hell took you so long my MP is almost out that monster is next level. He's a bruiser tank type. good luck. max falls back to a building beside billy good job max ill make sure Wallace gives you a boost to your food allowance max falls to his back. ill keep up my aura but it will only last 2 minutes at this point you better kill it. No problem I'm sure Lilly has this. the monster jumps from the hole attacking Lilly she perfectly dodges his attacks quickly countering each strike the beast throws it goes to punch Lilly the feints into a kick hitting her square in the chest sending her off the roof. billy runs along the building getting the monster's attention by shooting and shouting. hey, dummy over here you are weak couldn't even kill max he has no fighting potential. I'm right here billy What the hell man. billy laughs and the monster jumps over to him he slides beneath its leg dodging a well-timed attack. billy completely focuses on evading the monster's attack getting in shots where he can. he puts his gun away and pulls out the quicksilver knife meanwhile giving Lilly and him the strength and speed buffs. the monster swing and billy narrowly avoids the punch driving the knife into the beast's arm and jumping off. the beast roars. looks like you ran out of time billy activates his hidden skill and the tree spirits locket as Lilly crests the roof.His stats are added to hers and mirrored back to him as they both take their stance. the beast steps toward billy and they both shoot crescent slashes through the beast in an X.a prompt shows up boss creature slain. Level up Level up Level up Level up Level up. for killing the boss Lilly is granted an A-class item berserkers gauntlets. max sits up. why do we always run into this type of shit? first the guy at the tree.
