She had been mad when Veronica had been all smiles when she had been serious. The sudden quake had been unexpected and that had the two of them hugging which was weird. They dislodged and she felt the sudden surge underneath, and looking outside the window and she could see the traveling blast, and time had stopped for the both of them. Her mum stepped out of a portal.

Danny blinked open her eyes and smiled at her mum.

“I just knew you would get out” she sighed. She looked at the girl her daughter was trying to choke. “Is there anyone else here?” she questioned.

“A boy in the basement, in a capsule”.

Her mum stepped back into the portal and then few seconds later she was back. “Let’s go. Carry your friend with you”.
