Chocolate Marshmallows Peace

"What the fuck are we doing here?" Simon inquired with astonishment and confusion. He and Azazel were in an establishment that sold chocolates.

Azazel bought some candy, rabbit marshmallows covered in milk chocolate, and said, "Don't be in such a hurry; let me get you something. This is a gesture of mutual understanding and friendship between us. From now on, you and I are peaceful buddies."

Simon frowned and said, hands in his pockets, sounding amused and puzzled, "I didn't see you as someone who would buy such a thing..." He went on, "But do we need to raise white flags when the transaction hasn't even been completed? Was there any sort of bad blood between us before?"

He was surprised when he saw the packed candy in a pale blue box case... Was a demon buying him chocolates? This was new to him.

He never imagined that such a thing would happen.

Azazel grinned and explained as they exited the shop, Simon holding something new between his fingers, "There is no bad blood between us, if there ever was and needed to be some... Anyway, consider this more of a gesture of peace and understanding between who I represent and you, rather than a show of goodwill from me alone. Someone I know is a fan of you."

"Someone you know?" Simon smirked internally, since Azazel's message was so plain. He didn't seem afraid to make cryptic references to his master here, one whose identity was not difficult to deduce from someone from a prior universe like Simon. "Who should that be if I can ask?"

Azazel stated as they crossed the road, a bystander in front of them wearing an Oakland t-shirt, "Someone that you will know in time, for now let's just get to business,"

Simon quickly thought, 'Looks like he supposes that I don't know anything about Lucifer… Does he? Hunters and common folks must know little about him in this world. In my prior reality, connecting Azazel and the brightest morning light was considered natural, though... Who else would a great demon work for, besides the most powerful fallen angel?'

Simon had only watched Season 1, but he could make educated speculations regarding the actual existence of Lucifer; he most likely was present in the universe of Supernatural as well.

After some time, he and Azazel stopped walking and came to a movie convention for American performers with Indian and Bollywood roots. Simon had no idea why the demon had taken him here.

They were standing at the entrance, unable to enter, when Azazel stated, seeming like he wasn't asking but rather expressing a fact, "You have something for that girl from the Originals TV show, don't you? Nishi Munshi… More like, I think you really like Bollywood-looking actresses in general, right?"

Simon liked the way that girl looked, but he had no idea how Azazel knew that, so he said, "How did you know, did you read my thoughts or something?"

He recalled that in the series, demons were said to be able to do that sometimes, but at ambiguous periods, making it difficult to know whether they truly could or not.

Azazel said, his gaze locked on a poster of a gorgeous woman at the door, "I know a lot about you, Simon, but sadly I'm unable to read your thoughts."

Simon asked, scowling, "How did you guess that, then?"

The only reasonable explanation was that he was being stalked, but Simon did not wish to expose him. He only asked instead.

Azazel did not respond; instead, he chuckled and asked, anxious to complete the transaction, "Nishi Munshi, Rhona Mitra, Noureen Dewulf… There are three girls your type here, which one is it going to be?"

His unwavering, beaming attention was drawn to several posters of imaginary entertainment that showed no signs of fading from the mind of the world yet... These were the Originals (Vampire Diaries), Underworld (Rise of the Lycans), and a comedic-looking Sitcom Charlie Sheen-starring series.

"..."

Simon thought for some time before making his choice. How could Azazel, this freak know about this? He was as clueless as the rest of the world regarding this problem in the world.

Simon didn't know if he was to blame for things disappearing from this reality, so he chose the person that was least likely to cause him trouble for the time being: Noureen Dewulf from Anger Management. She appeared to play a girl named Lacey in the comedic sitcom.

Azazel didn't comprehend and couldn't read Simon's thoughts, which Simon confirmed when he stated, "So that's the one you like best, huh? Not an awful flavor, hehe... Okay, wait for me here for a while in that dark corner… I'll return in that new body, and you'll drink droplets of its blood."

Simon nodded and did as he suggested.

In the meantime, he began tasting the chocolate rabbits from the chocolate box. They tasted delicious.
