108 Tell me this long yet short tale

It's definitely unnatural and awkward for a human to live with an undead woman.

But nothing could lessen the awkward atmosphere that the adults feel on the dinner table.

It's certainly crazy for her. She has never ever eaten on the same table with another human being. Starving is better than eating food with things who could give her allergies. And there's not one but TWO human beings here -- a scrawny dark-haired girl who is in her early teens and a middle-aged man.

To make the things awkwarder, the girl wouldn't shut up.

"Why are you wearing a hat and a mask?" Rika stirs the curry-rice in the plate with her spoon while keeping her eyes fixed on Dierre. "You are wearing sunglasses at night. Are you dumb?"

"Rika!" Fumiko warns her daughter. "Don't say disrespectful things to the guest."

"But she's strange." Rika makes a face. "She hasn't said a word. Isn't she also rude to me?"
