139 Don't scare any humans

[2 Months before the present time]

Nishimura Soichiro looks around the basement. This agency that started with only three employees is still the same. There have been no new recruits. 

"It's dead." Nishimura Soichiro sighs. "And I have to leave."

"I am still stuck here." Sitting in the corner with a book, Dierre picks up popcorn and takes it to Maye's mouth. "The Council keeps renewing my contract."

"You keep failing the test." Nishimura Soichiro glances at her foot. "At least, you aren't on parole anymore." 

It has taken ten years to turn into an antisocial medusa into a less antisocial medusa. Dierre doesn't run away when she sees humans these days. She works diligently. Though she hasn't stopped wearing dark glasses, Dierre has a grip on her powers now. On top of it, she can exorcise ghosts from possessed humans' bodies with her gaze alone. 

However, her fighting skills are too bad.
