170 Being an immortal isn't enough anymore

Choi Minho sighs. It feels like it's Wakana's fate.

"There's no way to prevent it from happening?" He asks again. If Wakana becomes a forsaken creature again, she needs to be hidden. Sung Jun is unlikely to let her and the child live in this world. 

"Not that I know of." Sung Jun taps his fingers on the chair arm. "What are you going to do about it?"

"I don't know what to do." Choi Minho holds his head. "I want her to be happy and safe."

Sung Jun studies Choi Minho. This boy doesn't deserve this. "I thought about what Sarie said. Since time runs differently in two worlds, we have to find out how long it took her to cross the bridge. It's been two days already. She hasn't changed into a forsaken creature. I am sure that it depends on the time when she left the river or the bridge."

"I met her after ten years were gone." Choi Minho recalls, "Shouldn't it happen after ten years?"
