Chapter 2: First Monster + Saving a damsel

I stood still for a good 10 minutes which rose my stored EXP to 26.6EXP, which in the grand scheme wasn't a lot, however it was free with little effort so who am I to complain?

From the looks on the outside monsters have been rampaging throughout the city and certain people gained powers, kind of like me, but I think mine may be a little more OP. I mean superman's stats are basically 7457X stronger than a top shaped human, so all I have to do is max out my (Passive) Skills to level 10 (Max) and I'll be OP! I mean currently I already am OP considering all my current stats are 20 so just X that by 745.7 due to my passive abilities, however I must not get cocky. I don't know what these monsters are capable of. Hell, I don't even know what humans will do with powers, but form reading comics about the DC universe I know what I must become… The best Superman there is. I'll only save people that need, and I WILL kill people that deserve it… Never know when one will become a thorn in my side…

'System, how do I become a full-blooded Kryptonian? Also, are there any other blood lines, and can I fuse them with my own?'

[Host will become a Fully-Blooded Kryptonian after Solar Absorption reaches MAX Level. At level 5 Host will become a Half-Blooded and gain a gift from System]

'Ok, how do I get KC, and what exactly is it?'

[KC also known as Krypto Currency is the systems currency for buying what the shop must sell. You can get KC by defeating evil beings, saving people and completing quests. You get quests from the system.]

[Ding* Quest Received… Defeat the monster residing at the lower levels of the hospital and save the girl trapped in the room next to it.]

[If complete Host gains 3 Spendable Stat Points, 2 x Lottery Tickets, 400 x KC]

[If Host fails to complete Host gains a guilty conscience ad loses 100 x KC and remaining Spendable Stat Points]

'Well… Guess I'm accepting this quest *Sigh*'

After chatting with the system another 10 minutes had went by causing the stored EXP to increase by another 16.6 totalling 43.2EXP. Which for doing nothing isn't too bad, I guess It will increase after levelling.

I exited the room and looked around to find the place deserted. It didn't look like it had been deserted for that long, maybe less than a day, but I heard growling from downstairs followed by crying. Unfortunately, I don't have the Super Hearing skill yet otherwise I would've been able to pinpoint exactly where the noise was coming from, but I just had to try and get used to my speed as I zipped around trying to pinpoint the location of the echoing sound.

After 2 minutes of running I saw what looked to be a panther, however it was around half the size of an elephant and its fangs were that of a sabretooth. I looked in the direction it was facing to see a girl around my age (17) standing where a door used to be, and tears streamed down her face as she faced impending doom. That is until she saw me, a glimmer of hope shone through her glistening eyes until she realized the beast that was still in front of her.

The monster must've heard me as It turned to face my direction and snarled with foam dripping out of its mouth. I'm not going to lie I was scared as fuck, but who wouldn't be? It began to charge at me and I decided 'Ah fuck it' and shouted "NORMAL PUNCH" just to see how strong I am. As the beast ran into my fist the impact caused it to flip over and injure it slightly. To my surprise as well as I never expected it to do that much especially to such a formidable looking foe.

The girl looked shocked at my display of strength, as she just stared in awe and glad that she may have a chance to live.

I decided to step up the fight a bit and charge at the beast saying "Serious Punch (Anyone get that?)" causing the beast to explode in a frenzy of blood bathed the hospital floor. The girl yet again had her mouth agape in both fear and gratefulness.

I slowly walked towards her and she tried her best to act tough, but I just waved and smiled saying "That was a close one, you ok?" She looked at me and thought 'Wow he is handsome, I mustn't have noticed due to the fight, it's still a bit scary though… Especially that a man can kill such a monstrosity"

"Yes, I'm f-fine" She said stuttering from either the fear of the near-death experience or the fact that she's embarrassed. Ah well I wasn't paying much attention, though she was cute I got a better reward.

"Uhn" She responded sheepishly.
