Chapter 66 - A Night Outing

---Next Day---

Dropping the women off at their locations for the day, I flew off to do my rounds. Nezu was in the process of trying to get my request pushed through for Melissa and Nejire, but it would take time. Flying around the globe looking for the Life Entity of my world, I was having trouble sensing it. Without Magic Veins to tap into it was difficult locating it as it slept. Looking in many different holy places, I found nothing but traces of where magic had once flowed in my world.

Taking care of issues as they arose, I was thinking I was going to have to figure out an alternative means to locate the Life Entity. Picking up Eri from school when the day came to a close, she came barreling out of school with a beaming smile. Waving a piece of paper in her hand as she ran towards me I could see that her school was having a special day for the families to come in, and visit the children.

"Can you come to school with me?", she asked giving me her big puppy eyes.

"Of course I can.", I replied, "Do you want me to ask mom and dad to come too?"

"Yeah!!", she shouted with joy.

Jumping into my arms I held her tightly as I stood up.

"I love you!!", she giggled as she hugged me.

As she said that my White Lantern Ring started to vibrate like it was sensing a Life Entity. The closer the ring was to Eri the more it responded.

'The Life Entity is asleep in Eri!!', I thought, 'It's...it's been right under my nose this whole time. My little sister is carrying the Life Entity!!'

With this discovery, I took her and the women others home to tell them. At first they were a bit skeptical, but seeing the ring's reaction the women were convinced. Asking how this was possible I said I didn't know, but I was fearful waking the Life Entity would hurt Eri.

"It won't hurt her.", a soft voice said.

Turning back to look, a small pixie looking woman flew around Eri. Giving the Life Entity a smile, Eri reached out to hold her. Eri seemed to know the Life Entity which confused me even more. Asking her how she knew the pixie, Eri stated that the Pixie had always been around her for as long as she could remember.

"She told me that you would save me when I was little!", Eri giggled, "The pixie always keeps me company!!"

"Is that so?", I chuckled, "I am sure it's because you are fun to be around."

"Hehe maybe!", Eri laughed.

"Can I talk to the Pixie?", I asked.

"Yeah, that's okay!", Eri stated, "You can talk to him, he is super nice and kind!"

Nodding it's head the pixie flew towards me.

"How can I help you?", the Pixie asked.

"Are you the Life Entity?", I replied.

"I am, what's it to you?", the Pixie said acting tough with a smile on its face.

"Could you maybe explain why you are bonded to Eri?", I questioned.

"She is a good girl, and I knew you'd eventually meet her. I have seen first hand how much you cherish her, and the people of this world and others.", she said, "You are the perfect wielder of a White Lantern Ring. The hearts of this world support you, and see you as their champion and savior. Everyone I have seen through her eyes looks at you with hope for a brighter tomorrow. Hero, I give you my blessing use my power wisely to keep their hearts glowing bright!"

Suddenly a massive surge of energy came flooding into the ring, more than I had experienced before. The energy was so hot that even I could feel the warmth that it had. This feeling...it was the same feeling I had recalling the memories of my family in my past life. It wasn't just me, the other women felt the warmth as well and sighed peacefully. Dying down a few minutes later the Pixie gave me a smile.

"What the heck...that was way more intense than the other Life Entity I met.", I stated.

"A White Lantern has full control of the Emotional Spectrum, but it is also affected by the spectrum.", the Pixie said, "All that energy you felt, that is all the energy you have helped cultivate in this universe. Your hard work, and dedication to making the world a peaceful place for all made all that energy. The symbol you have become has instilled so much power in me, that I am overflowing with power."

"I haven't done it alone, it takes a team effort.", I said looking back at the others who gave me a smile.

"Go forth...and kick his freaking ass!", the Pixie shouted throwing punches in the air, "Eri and I will be cheering you on!"

"Yeah!", Eri giggled mimicking the Pixie.

"Haha, there is no way I won't win with you cheering me on.", I stated with a smile as I patted their heads.

"Nice, so two down!", Kara said with a grin, "So which world is next?"

"New Earth's Life Entity will probably be the next one as they have the largest population currently. I have an idea of where that one is so it won't be too hard, I think.", I stated, "I feel like we only maybe need one or two more Life Entity blessings to be fully powered up!"

"We can do this team!!", Mina shouted.

"Yeah!!", the other women laughed.

Taking a page out of Mina's book, Eri asked me a question.

"So what's for dinner!!", Eri asked me with excitement.

"How about we make bagel dogs?", I chuckled.

"Can I help?", she inquired.

"Of course.", I chuckled, "Let's go make dinner."

Helping me make the dough, we wrapped the tiny sausages with it, and baked them in the oven. Cooling them on a rack, we were soon savoring the fruits of our labor. Putting on movie for us to watch, the women relaxed and ate in silence. Times like these would slowly trickle away as time went on.

In several months we would have a few children born, and peaceful times like this would be a rarity. If Rumi was anything like her mother, we would have several children from her one pregnancy. Nemuri would probably be a single child, but if the baby had her pheromone Quirk...oh boy that would be bad.

As we were watching the movie, Harley gave Ivy a call asking to come over. She wanted to meet everyone, and kind of ease into things. Having discussed it with her sister, she wanted to slowly integrate into the group instead of just jumping in. Her sister pointed out that she should be more careful with men given her recent ex.

"Mind if she comes over?", Ivy asked.

"That's fine, we got more than enough food to share.", I replied.

Picking her and bring her over, she settled in between Selena and Ivy to watch the movie. Glancing over at them I could really tell they were like sisters because they stole each other's food like it was normal. Feeling my gaze the three blew kisses at me, and pushed their chests out.

"Behave yourselves or I will discipline you later this evening.", I told them telepathically.

"Only if you make it rough.", Selena retorted with a smile.

"And make sure you don't waste a drop.", Ivy added licking her lips.

"Also...uh...I am not good with dirty talk.", Harley said looking at the other two for advice.

"Just tell him what you want him to do.", Selena informed her.

"Take care of my daughter with me, and never let me go.", Harley stated immediately.

"Uh...Harley, Selena meant in the bedroom.", Ivy giggled.

"Oh!! Oppsy!!", Harley retorted, "Uh...well I would like to know what it's like to sleep in a man's arms instead of the floor. Maybe even give me kisses and tell me I mean everything to you."

Hearing that the playful attitudes of Selena and Ivy vanished. Hugging her they looked at me like I needed to comfort her. Noticing their reaction, Eri asked if she was okay. Walking over Eri grabbed her hand, and pulled Harley over to me. Telling her to sit down on my lap, Eri squeeze next to her holding her Tiger.

Leaning back against me, Harley got comfortable, and continued to watch the movie. Once the movie was over a few of the women went to do homework with Eri, and the rest of us stayed on the couch. No longer needing to share space with Eri, Harley got cozy on my lap.

"Yah know...it's kinda nice to be here.", Harley said looking at the others, "Ivy and Selena told me about your reaction to those two being pregnant. I...I have to say I am jealous. When I found out I was pregnant the only feeling I had was fear. All I could was run and hide from my partner because he would have hurt my baby. Other than my sister...no one would give me the time of day. Everyone blames me for what Mr. J did to Superman, and outside the Insurgency...everyone hated me and threw rocks at me."

"Harley...", Selena said.

"I know what I have done is bad, and I don't deserve no happiness. Still though...all I wanted was for my daughter to have a happy life. She didn't do anything wrong, but everywhere I went they told me they wished she and I would die!", Harley choked up, "It...it hurt so much because I couldn't do anything about it. I left her with my sister because no one knew she was related to me. Handing her over...it was like ripping out my heart!! I wanted to be a good mother, but I couldn't!!"

Looking at her Rumi and Nemuri felt bad for her, especially given the reactions I gave them when they told me.

"When you came along, and they offered me a chance to be with my daughter I took it.", Harley said, "I...I...thought it might be like how Selena was with Batman, but...after feeling the warmth here. It isn't the same!! This is what I wanted for so long, and blindly thought I could get from Joker. The life you have is exactly what I want!! If you give me a chance, I will show you that I can be a good person!! All I want is for you to love my daughter and I!!"

"I understand, we can definitely work our way towards that.", I said with a smile, "We have a long time to work out things."

"Yeah!", she laughed wiping her tears away.

"See Harley, I told you that bastard was no good for you.", Ivy said.

"I know.", Harley replied, "I should've listened better."

Wrapping my arms around herself, Harley held hands tightly like she thought I would vanish from her. Looking over at Kara and Starfire, I asked them how training was going. Trying to get a better idea of where everyone was in their training, Maxima interjected and said they were making excellent progress. Hearing that she was being overly vague, I asked for details.

"What she means to say is there have been a few hiccups.", Blackfire said walking up behind me, "Minor issues like timing and coordination, but we are making progress."

"Do I need to attend?", I asked.

"I think it would help.", Raven said, "Too many cooks in the kitchen."

"Ah...", I said realizing that was a problem.

"It's fine dear really.", Maxima stated with a kiss, "We can handle it, you have more important things to do like make the Alliance stronger."

"I still think he should come to sort things out.", Raven said, "Between Blackfire and you, the two of you bump heads more than anyone."

"That is simply because she won't acknowledge I am the superior warrior.", Maxima laughed.

"That's because you aren't.", Blackfire snapped.

"My win streak says otherwise.", Maxima jabbed.

"It only counts when we are in the ring! Ambushing me when I am dressing doesn't count!!", Blackfire seethed.

Telling them to calm down, I said we would determine this in a far contest. Stating I had something in mind, I told them to relax for now. Finishing the conversation with that, the majority of them went off to train leaving just Harley and I on the sofa.

"You want watch tv?", I asked.

Turning herself around, Harley shook her head as she straddled me.

"Nah, I still owe you for putting your life on the line for my sister and daughter. They'd be dead if not for you.", she said leaning in, "I hope you are okay with staying at first base tonight."

"Of course.", I said as she kissed me.

Playfully squeezing her butt she gave me a smile as she shook it for me. Using her tongue to probe my mouth, Harley really got into it as she wrapped her arms around my head. Running my hands up and down her legs she stared at me with starved expression.

"You going to stay at first?", I teased.

"Oh...uh...", she said realizing how aroused she was, "Yeah, let's stop here...I am getting a bit a head of myself."

Getting off of me, I could she really wanted to go further. Respecting her decision, I invited her to stay and train with the rest of us. Happily accepting the offer Harley buried my left arm between her breasts as we went to the training room. Finding Blackfire and Maxima trying to teach to different forms of combat, I could see it was annoying the others.

"Ladies, how about you alternate between defense and offense?", I suggested, "Both of you teaching the same thing is a bit difficult to keep up with."

"Of course, we can do that.", they said nodding in agreement.

"Not like we weren't telling you that this whole time...", Raven muttered.

"Agreed...", Kara sighed.

Splitting the time between the two, the women seemed to be more relaxed now. Having only one person leading the session made a big difference so I left them to it. Going to my area of the space I started bench pressing on a machine I took from Earth 2 which effectively gave me the same strain of bench pressing the Earth's weight. Having modified it with my knowledge, it was capable of generating the equivalent of 8 Septillion tons of force...which I maxed out very easily.

Getting to work doing reps, I noticed that Fury had come over to me. Asking her what was up, she said she wanted try as well. Agreeing to let her try, she got on the machine, and tried to lift it. Grunting as she tried to budge it, she gave up after five minutes.

"I forget how strong you are sometimes.", she laughed.

"Is everything okay?", I asked.

"Well...what you said about people surviving in other worlds or dimensions, can we check Earth 2?Maybe you could take Supergirl and I when you go?", she replied.

"You hopeful someone you know survived?", I inquired.

"Praying there is a few of our friends that made it out.", she answered.

"I understand, I will certainly take both of you.", I swore.

"Thanks.", she said with a smile, "So now I have to ask...are our children going to be that strong?"

"They could potentially. I don't think, rather don't hope, that they will all be that strong.", I said wiping non-existent sweat from my brow, "That would be insane."

"I don't think it would be too bad, might be a little fun really.", she teased.

"Don't get me started...", I chuckled, "I can already see it now...several children running through walls, destroying things, and slamming into things."

"I don't think it will be...well now that you say that...", she laughed.

Shaking my head I got back to lifting. Peering through the doorway to see what we were doing Mina, Momo, Starfire, Maxima, and Harley were all curious what was going on. Watching me weight lift on the strange looking machine they also wanted to try it out. Coming over to us they asked to have a go, and only Maxima was able to make it budge even a little which frustrated her. Telling them how much the machine was set too, all of them turned pale.

"That's a big number...", Mina said with a gulp.

"A really big number.", Starfire shouted, "I didn't realize that you were that strong!!"

"To be expected of my husband.", Maxima added.

"Alright ladies, you don't need to butter me up any more than that.", I laughed, "I assume you are bored of your lessons?"

"My sister isn't the nicest teacher.", Starfire whispered, "She is too naggy."

"I heard that!", Blackfire shouted.

Hiding behind me as Blackfire came storming in, the two ran around me till I stopped them. Since it was clear that they wanted to all go out, I suggested me all go out on patrol. Stopping their arguing, all of them asked me what I had in mind.

"Well we still have several Villains and Heroes hiding here that we need to move back. Even Captain Atom needs to be returned now that he is completely repaired.", I said glancing over to him as he was slept in stasis.

"So where are we going first?", Nejire and Mina asked with excitement.

"Grodd is in Africa so why don't we head there first?", I suggested.

"A Safari!!", Starfire shouted, "I read much about those!! The cats are so cute!!"

"They will also rip your face off...", Ochaco giggled.

"Not so sure with Starfire.", Dorothy said, "Somehow I think they would act like kittens for her."

"You probably aren't wrong.", Raven stated, "Knowing her she will have them purring like kittens too."

---Central Africa---

Flying us out over the center of Africa I used my telepathic powers to try and locate Grodd. Probing around for any signs of mental tampering, we ended up finding him in the Congo raising a rebel army. Touching down not far from them, we surveyed the scene below us in a steep valley.

"What the hell does he think he's doing!?", Selena hissed, "We came here to hide, not do a hostile takeover!"

"He did not get the memo.", Starfire said, "Did I use that term right?"

"Yes, yes you did.", Nejire laughed.

Watching and listening to the group down below, it appeared Grodd was getting ready to launch an assault on the local government. Using locals, gorillas, and firearms they had stolen from the military Grodd intended to use the cover of darkness to take control in a hurry. Observing the equipment they had, I didn't feel like any of the women would have an issue with the equipment they had. Giving the girls a grin, I said I would handle Grodd.

"Try not to severely hurt the people. Grodd likely has them brainwashed so be easy on them.", I said.

"We can handle that much.", Momo said making a stun baton.

"Let's do this!", Harley said swinging a rubberized baseball bat.

Nodding my head I let the women get into position first, and launch their attack. Launching a psychic attack on Grodd before he could attack them he turned back to see me glaring down at him.

"Great, you weren't supposed to find me so quick but no matter.", he said pointing a Kryptonite Gun at me, "I came prepared in case you showed up Superman!"

Blasting me in the face, I slowly descended towards him till I was right in front of him. Crushing the gun with my hand I grabbed the top of his, and applied pressure to his skull.

"I don't have time to play games Grodd.", I said release the Mind Control, "If you don't, your going to become a side show at the circus."

"I doubt a child like you has the stones too-"

Slamming my fist into his gut, his legs gave out as vomited.

"Your in my world Grodd, I am not like your Justice League was. I don't have a problem crippling you or making you an invalid.", I said narrowing my eyes, "This world doesn't need a villain like you nor will I tolerate one like you. Surrender or suffer the consequences."

Submitting at that point he let the people go. Once they snapped free of their mind control the animals bolted, and the villagers that weren't unconscious dropped their weapons and ran. Binding Grodd's wrists, I took him back to his world and continued gathering up people till almost 10pm.

---Fortress of Solitude---

"Now that was fun!!", Mina laughed.

"I agree, it was a lot of fun.", Momo said, "It certainly beats training in the gym!"

"Really nice to get some aggression out!!", Harley added.

"We kicked all the butts!!", Starfire shouted, "The evildoers did not win this evening!!"

"It was really cool when you blew up that tanker truck!", Ochaco said giving Blackfire a high five.

"I suppose it was cool.", Blackfire replied with a smile.

"So when do we get to go hunt more bad guys?", Nejire inquired.

"Agreed, we need to do this more often.", Rumi said stretching out, "It's a great stress reliever...though I could do without going into the swamp again."

Having gone to several places, including the Everglades, all the women seemed to agree that the swamp was the least enjoyable place to go. Promising to limit the number of jobs in the swamps, they thanked me for the consideration. While we got washed up, Yu asked how the meeting with Universe 16 went the day before. Stating that things went fine, I said that they had agreed to the Alliance after speaking with the universes.

"You all...shower together?", Harley asked from outside the bathroom, "How big is your bathroom!?"

"It's the seat of luxury Harley.", Selena shouted, "Come on in and join us!"

"Oh...okay...", she said rushing in.

Slipping on the wet floor, Harley fell onto me which I wasn't going to complain about. Helping her back up, she covered her breasts and crotch as she rushed over to Ivy and Selena. Watching her run over, Toga leaned in to ask if there was something wrong with her. Answering for me, Itsuka said that she was just shy given the circumstances.

"Don't forget she has been in hiding, and on the run for a while.", Itsuka stated.

"Yeah, but she seems overly cautious. It's like she wants to then talks herself out of it.", Toga stated.

"Does she have something she is hiding?", Toru asked.

"No, I think it has to do with her prior relationship.", I said, "You heard about her past, right? She has a condition called Stockholm Syndrome, and she is still recovering from it. In reality, she is probably trying to stop herself from making a decision on emotions only."

"That makes sense.", Nemuri added, "If the comics you wrote are accurate, she had a really shitty relationship with that clown."

"Shitty doesn't even begin to explain it!!", Harley shouted, "You know that prick never once celebrated my birthday!! Every fucking Christmas I got him a gift, but he couldn't be bothered to get me shit!!"

"You preach it Harley!", Ivy cheered.

"Always making me do his heavy lifting, and shit jobs!! All the traps that were made for Batman, I had to make them all while he was doing his own thing!!", Harley snapped throwing her towel down, "He took all the damn credit, and the few times I tried to take credit for catching the Bat he beat the shit out of me!! The asshole never gave me a fucking ounce of respect!! When I came back from having my daughter, he acted like he didn't notice my absence!!"

"And you stayed with that jackass!?", Yu asked looking at her like she was crazy, "What the hell sister! You should have kicked his lazy ass to the curb!"

"Damn straight, should have put that hammer of yours right up his butt!", Rumi added.

"You need to have more pride in yourself.", Nejire and Momo said, "You are a beautiful woman, you shouldn't have had to put up with a worthless crap guy like him."

"Yeah, you should've found a guy like Clark.", Ochaco and Toru stated smacking my back, "He treats us really well, and would never hit us."

"You certainly hit me though.", I chuckled.

"Shut up!", Rumi remarked with a grin, "You know you like it."

"You better watch it Rumi, do we need a repeat of yesterday?", I said with a smirk.

"That...that was only a momentary show of weakness. It won't happen again.", she said with a smile.

"Oh we will see.", I laughed.

"All of you...your so kind.", Harley said wiping a tear from her face.

"This is a sisterhood.", Maxima told Harley, "If anyone gives you shit they give all of us shit, and we don't take that sitting down. No matter who they are, we got your back."

Hugging Maxima, Harley thanked her and said she was really happy to hear that. Hearing Maxima's decree Nemuri grinned and looked at her.

"So do we take out coworkers too? I have this coworker that annoys the hell out of me for dating Clark. Think we could maybe stuff him in a dumpster or something?", Nemuri said with a grin.

"Who?", the student women in the room asked.

"Oh! You mean Aizawa!", Melissa laughed, "I don't think Uncle Might would like us beating him up."

"Maybe draw pictures on his face then?", Nemuri compromised.

"I can live with that.", Nejire said, "I think I have permanent black markers."

Sighing as they planned his demise, I was eager to see how this panned out. Listening to them debate how to handle him, I got in the bath to relax. A few minutes later I got a call from Universe 15. Raising the privacy barrier before answering I asked what was going on.

"Got a moment?", Batman asked.

"Sure, what do you need?", I replied.

"We have refugees that showed up, you may want to bring your group here. Some of them want to meet Kara and Fury particularly.", Batman said, "They are in terrible shape...just warning you."

"How bad are we talking?", I questioned.

"I hope your tech can repair disfiguration and lost limbs.", he answered.

"...I see.", I said, "We will be over in fifteen minutes."

Ending the call I lowered the barrier and stood up. Telling the women that we had an emergency call, all of them asked what was going on. Informing them that Universe 15 had received refugees from other universes, I went on to say that some were asking to see Kara and Fury by name. Hearing that the two lit up with delight.

"Did they say who!?", the two said running over and grabbing my hands.

"No, but I need to get equipment together for their recovery. I...I think you should understand that they probably won't look like you remember.", I stated with a serious look, "They have weathered a rough storm."

Understanding what I was hinting at, they accepted that and said they still wanted to go.
