6 Getting know himself

He had settled into the academy and been feeling up his powers and what exactly happened with him. As the days passed, Jean had not been seen in the academy and Jagnar knew where she was. Logan had come back to academy and he was here and Jagnar too talked to him.

Jagnar came out of the building. He walked to the back of the building, going into the woods. For the past few days, he has been staying at the academy and studying all that's required. But he never once tried to test his powers.

As Jagnar stood in the secluded spot amidst the tranquil embrace of nature, his mind brimming with anticipation, he couldn't shake off the persistent thought about Superman's vulnerability to kryptonite. It nagged at him, a riddle he was determined to unravel. He ransacked his memory for any scrap of information that might hold the key to his quandary, but the answers eluded him, leaving him grappling with frustration and curiosity.

Undeterred, Jagnar refocused his attention on the present moment. The lush greenery surrounded him, offering a serene backdrop to his explorations. With a surge of excitement coursing through his veins, he took a deep breath, preparing to push the boundaries of his newfound abilities.

Eyes gleaming with determination, Jagnar extended his arms, his fingers slightly curled, as he willed himself to float effortlessly above the ground. In that fleeting moment, his connection to the energies within him was palpable, the very fabric of the air responded to his unspoken command. He felt weightlessness, a tantalizing taste of freedom, as his body defied gravity and was lifted off the earth.

However, his triumph was short-lived. Like a gentle breeze slipping through his fingers, the sensation of flight dissipated all too quickly. Jagnar's euphoria transformed into a mix of disappointment and curiosity. He landed back on the ground with a soft thud, his feet finding their footing once more.

Perplexed yet undeterred, Jagnar was not disheartened by this initial setback. He knew that his powers were a vast realm waiting to be explored, understood, and harnessed. It would take time, practice, and a deepening connection with his abilities to truly unlock their potential.

Taking a deep breath, he readied himself for another attempt. Setting his sights on an open stretch of terrain nestled within the serene woods, he positioned himself at the starting line. Muscles tensed and his heart pounding with anticipation, he launched himself forward, his strides growing longer and more purposeful with each passing moment.

As his feet propelled him forward with increasing speed, Jagnar felt a surge of exhilaration envelop his being. The surrounding scenery blurred into a colorful blur, the wind whipping against his face, carrying away any doubts or fears that lingered within his mind. In that moment, he seemed like a straight, light blur.

A joyous cry escaped his lips, an exclamation of pure bliss as he surrendered himself to the thrilling rush of speed. It was as if gravity had lost its grip on him, allowing him to defy its laws and experience a freedom previously unimaginable. His strides propelled him forward, faster and faster, until the world around him became a mere blur of vibrant hues and fleeting glimpses of nature.

With each stride, he pushed himself further, his determination serving as fuel for his soaring spirit. The thrill of the wind caressing his face and the ground whizzing beneath his feet filled him with an unparalleled sense of empowerment. For a brief, ephemeral moment, he felt as though he were weightless.

The forest became a playground of endless possibilities, his strides effortlessly devouring the distance before him. It was an intoxicating dance, a symphony of motion, and he was the conductor, guiding himself through the symphony of his own untapped potential.

He stopped running slowly and came to a halt at one place, and he wasn't breathing like usual when he ran in the past. His breathing was still normal.

The journey had just begun, and as Jagnar stood there, his mind ablaze with possibilities,

Days turned into weeks as he delved into self-exploration, searching for that elusive connection that would unlock his true potential. He practised himself, testing the limits of his abilities. He tried everything he knew about the powers of superman and he got every one of them. He learned to control the amount of strength he put in. After some time, he realized that there was an extent to what he could do, he wasn't limitless. He wanted to become limitless. So he tried to look for ways, but nothing was in sight.

As he trained, Jagnar couldn't help but notice the watchful eyes of his mentors—Charles, Logan, and the others. Their curiosity mixed with concern, a reflection of their desire to understand the enigma that was Jagnar. Unbeknownst to him, they held their own doubts, questioning the true extent of his powers and the nature of his origins. In their presence, he was holding back his powers and only showing them that he had a little bit more strength than the average man. And they didn't have doubts about a 16 year old kid, who spent his life in solitary confinement.

Charles sometimes talked to Jagnar in his study. They engaged in long conversations about power, purpose, and the intricate tapestry of the universe. Charles encouraged Jagnar to delve deep within himself, to embrace the unknown, and to trust in the potential that lay dormant within him.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. Jagnar's skills progressed, his abilities evolving with each passing day.

One day, while he was in the cafetaria, I saw Scott leaving with a bag, he seemed to be in a rush. Seeing him leave in a hurry, I thought of Jean Grey, the class five mutant. She was said to be the most powerful being in existence.

Then his thoughts went to the reason she was extremely powerful. 'Dark Phoenix,' he muttered. It was said to be a cosmic being. It was the reason which made Jean, the most dangerous mutant.

Thinking of a dark phoenix evoked a reckless idea in his mind. He thought inwardly, 'What if I were to absorb the dark phoenix?' and thought was circling his mind with all the possibilities.
