4 Chapter 4: Birthday Party

(One year later)

It has been a whole year, ever since Logan was born again and entered Hubert Mansion. And what shocked him the most was how rich his new parents were, because they were insanely rich, to understand this you would need to that his hold majority shares in Apple, Google, Amazon, Space X, and Tesla while having quite a substantial number of shares in other giant corporations. It seemed to him that Jason was an investor and from the looks of it, a very good one at that. However, what shocked him more was few people aren't there, for example, Instead of Steve Jobs, Apple here in this world was founded by Gary Loren. Although Logan is not sure if Steve Jobs doesn't even exist but he is sure that he isn't the founder of Apple. This changes a lot of things for him, which means there is a chance that his parents from this past life might not even exist in this world. Which is good and bad both, good because he wouldn't have to feel guilty every time, he sees them but bad because he can never meet them. But at the end of the day, he still wished wherever they were, that they were happy.

Another important thing is that he tried to expose himself to sunlight as much as possible, two things, first he can feel himself getting stronger, and second, it seems he doesn't get tanned or anything after remaining under the sun for long. His strength right now is close to a 10-year-old kid, which is amazing considering that he is only one year old, and most importantly, his looks. He seemed to have inherited his father's hair and eyes, blonde and blue respectively. However, his facial structure is something that he inherited from his mother, one can say he got the best part from both, another thing to note is that because of the time he spent with his new parents and the possibility that his previous life's parents aren't here, he seemed have accepted his new parents. Even though he still feels a little weird, but loves and cares for them a lot, hence he has decided to protect them, no matter what.

Now as to why is he being forced to wear a formal tuxedo of his size is because today is his first birthday, and because of his family's prestige there is a big banquet, and a lot of famous people are coming. Hence all the decoration and rush around the mansion, I have been asked by my parents to introduce myself in front of others, which is normal but because he is just one year old, yet he can walk and speak like a 6 or older year child amazed everyone at his mansion. Now his parents want to flaunt the genius of their kid to the world, hence he is supposed to introduce himself when everybody comes forward to wish him. "Oh! My boy you look so cute!", exclaimed Logan's mother while pinching his cheeks, no matter how much Logan protested his mother would never leave his cheeks alone, feeling helpless he looked towards his father, who replied to him with a helpless smile as well.

This is another thing that Logan found amusing, no matter how domineering his father is outside, he can't speak up to his mother. "Mom, I am not a child anymore. It's not cute, it's handsome!" shouted Logan, after which his mother and father laughed but Marie didn't leave his cheeks alone the whole time, leaving Logan hopeless, "What if someone sees the future superman so helpless, what would they think?" thought Logan. "Let's go, everyone is waiting for us. Sabus can't keep them companied for long.", said Jason, to which Marie simply nodded and lifted Logan in her arms, and took Jason's arm with another arm.

(At the Banquet)

There were many people dressed fashionably, and one can tell that every single piece of item on each person is extremely expensive, but most of all every single person present in this hall can cause media to line up and interview. Everyone was talking among themselves while bits of laughter rang out in the hall, (Creak) soon a quiet yet firm sound of the door opening was heard by people gathered there, which caused everyone's neck to be turned towards the door. Soon walked in Jason with Marie and baby Logan in her hand looking around the hall with interest and amazement in his eyes, one can also see excitement.

"Good evening, to all who have made an appearance by taking out precious time out of your schedule. I would like to apologize for making you all wait, I hope you weren't bored.", said Jason infirm and audible sound, earning a nod or a smile from everyone. No one dared to not give a face to this man, sitting on a net worth of more than 300 billion, the man running Hubert Private Limited. The company maybe be a private business (meaning there are no public shares to be bought), but that is what makes it terrifying, as this means Jason is the sole owner of the entire Hubert empire feat which would have seemed impossible, and on top of that he owns a major share in a giant corporation. As a result, his prestige is knocked up by another notch or two, he who raised this entire Hubert empire with his late father, from nothing while also managing to keep all the shares of the business.

In fact, a lot of people took time which they didn't even though they had out of their hectic schedule to meet the future heir of this giant corporation and try to set if not positive then neutral impressions of themselves. Once, Jason said that he continued with his family's introduction which was unnecessary but considered good manners in high society, "As you all would know, this is my dear wife Marie Hubert and this little devil here is…" but he stopped in between while looking at Logan which was his cue to introduce himself. While adjusting his sitting posture in his mother's arms, Logan tried his best to face all of them and said with a little bow, "Good evening, My name is Logan Hubert, son of Jason and Marie Hubert.". "huh!", gasped sounded all around the hall, because it wasn't hard to find out Logan's age, as he was just born last year, most importantly this is his first birthday party, clearly stating his age, but at that age, Logan talked like it was normal, while anyone can see levels of maturity that shouldn't be seen on a child.

There was doubt, suspicion, surprise, and little envy on people's faces, many didn't believe that I was one year old, some were surprised with the fact that I could be or am an unprecedented genius while some envied the good luck Hubert family has been blessed with. Observing the expression of people, Marie and Jason smiled inwardly, after giving some time to people to let this shocking fact settle in, Jason and Marie urge people to continue enjoying the party while going one by one to each person to thank them for coming while also introducing Logan to everyone. "There are so many people!" exclaimed Logan in his heart, he has been introduced to people for the past one and a half hours straight, seeing that Logan was getting exhausted Marie decided to greet the other guests with Jason and leave Logan with Sabus.

When Logan was handed to Sabu, he said to him, "You can put me down, I can walk on my own.". Hearing this Sabus had no choice but to put Logan down and follow him while looking around for food. Although a little surprised at the ease Logan was walking at one year of age, it seemed somewhat acceptable especially after his ability to speak. While Logan was busy looking around for food, he hears someone calling him, "Hey!"
