2 Chapter 2: Who are they?

And just like that Logan closed his eyes and found himself in a dark room, a very small but wet room. After which he soon realized where this was, this was his mother's womb and it seems that he still hasn't become a Kryptonian yet, maybe that will happen after he is delivered. But he didn't get to think for long before he fell asleep while trying to think what is going on.

(1 Month Later…)

Logan felt a sudden force acting to push him out, which makes him realize that it is time. Although painful the birth process was normal, while he wasn't proud of it but he didn't cry due to the pain of being stuffed out from a narrow opening. When he came out, he couldn't see anything clearly, everything was blurry even his hearing was weird, which was expected as the newly born child takes time to control its senses. But soon a crippling pain Logan's whole baby body, every part and every cell of his body were like bursting, he didn't even get to cry for long, as he became unconscious soon after the pain hit him. While he didn't know this but his mother and father who were holding him were shocked and panicked because, in front of their eyes, their baby was bleeding from everywhere. As they just received their baby after being cleaned but their baby was covered in blood again, not to mention his painful cry before going silent.

All of this made Jason and Marie (Logan's Parents), very worried and while they are figuring out what happened to their baby and panicking the blood soon started to evaporate like it was boiling which astonished them, but also increased their sense of fear because they have never heard any of this happening in the parenting classes they attended after Marie found she was pregnant. While Jason ran to catch a doctor to check up on his son, Marie held her child and started to cry bitterly because she didn't want to lose her first child, and due to childbirth, her hormones were already very chaotic. Hence, she didn't even notice how tight she was holding her baby, but what was more amazing was that the child didn't show any signs of discomfort. Instead, Marie soon notices her child's light breathing which calms her down a lot and makes her look carefully at her baby, she could clearly see that her baby seems fine but sleeping.

Now everything she experienced seemed to have been a dream, but soon Jason entered the room with a doctor in a hurry which quickly breaks her out of shock, however, this time Jason was in shock because he could clearly see his wife and son completely fine. "Everything seems fine, Mr. Hubert. He doesn't look like he is bleeding, are you sure that you aren't just tired?" asked the doctor while looking at Jason weirdly. However, the doctor didn't pay attention to this because a lot of times fatigue causes people to see things, especially people like Mr. Hubert who is a Billionaire, and works around the clock, not to mention the stress of baby birth. While Jason was thinking if he was really that tired that he started hallucinating about his child bleeding, but he reassured himself once he saw his wife's expression but understanding something he didn't anything else.

After the doctor exited the room, Jason walked towards his wife and asked while lowering his voice as low as possible, "Marie, did you see the same thing that I saw? Tell me Marie, or was it my own imagination?". Marie looked at her husband for a while then said with an almost crying expression, "I saw it too. I…I don't know what was happening to our son, J… Jason tell me, is our son okay?" Jason looked at his wife and then his son and observed him carefully looking for any anomalies, but after not finding anything wrong with his son, Jason was conflicted because either there is something wrong with his son and got potentially be life-threatening or his son his special in some way. Even though he has a lot of power in this country, but if the government label his son a threat to humanity or something even he wouldn't be able to do anything. After a long time of thinking, Jason decided to take his wife and son home first and decide what to do after watching his son. If anything seems wrong with him, then I would have to arrange something privately.

"Marie let's go home first. You and the baby need to rest, I will ask Sabus to prepare a bath for you once we reach home. Our driver is just downstairs.", said Jason to Marie but at this moment Logan woke up from his sleep and opened his eyes, but for some reason, there was confusion in his eyes, which was evident to both of his parents. When Logan woke, he could see, hear, smell and even feel clearly, but right now his mind is not on this fact but it is more confusing because he remembers his parents in his last life, and according to the figure he was going back in time. And What's more is that from hearing them talk he can concur that they are rich, the only question in Logan's mind was, "Who are they?"
