20 The Truth
Kazuto- So... Shall we begin?
Ken- Yeah... Let's hear it...
Kaori- Are you guys sure about it? It seems to be something serious...
Sap- It IS serious...
Doc- So... You figured out the truth too... Huh?
Sap- Yep... Did you guys really think that out of the 11 billion people worldwide, you guys would be the only ones to think of that...
Kazuto- But you can't even see mana...
Ken- That's what bothers me...
Sap- Well... I don't think I need mana to be able to find that out... You see... It was a hypothesis at first... Until I got blood on my hands to prove that...
Kazuto- Eh?! We didn't have to go that far...
Ken- Uhm... I nearly killed myself to achieve that... So...
Kazuto- Well... We didn't have any casualties atleast...
Sap- Well... That girl was nearly dead anyways...
Ken- What do you mean?
Sap- A cancer patient... It developed in the brain... She would've died within days... And... I asked for her approval before carrying out my experiment... And... She was okay with that...
Ken- So... What did you do?
Sap- Let me first ask you guys something... Did we arrive at the same conclusion?
Ken- Well... This is what we found out...
Kazuto- A kid is thought to be born without mana normally, but is born with a small chamber of mana in their brain... That slowly corrupts the neuron system and then proceeds to corrupt the nervous system...
Ken- Then the mana changes its shape and creates new cells in that system, thus, becomes a circuit flowing through the body...
Sap- And through these new nerve cells, one exerts mana... But since the core is in the brain, mana develops in different ways according to the person and thus all people use mana differently...
Ken- But it can be altered through some means...
Sap- Well... I haven't been able to find that out yet...
Ken- So... What did you do in the experiment?
Sap- Well... I split open her head in a way that she'd not die... And... Put my hand near her brain... And... Then it all withered away... I saw her brain wither away... But... I couldn't confirm the nervous system then... So I had to cut her open and confirm it for myself... And... Just thinking about it makes me feel like vomitting now... So... Can we please stop here for now?
Ken- Yeah... I guess...
Sap- So... How did you achieve this state of complete control?
Ken- I... Completely destroyed myself from the inside out and remade everything from shadow...

Sap- Well... That won't happen... I don't affect mana at a fast rate... At best, I can dispel the mana of a level 4... You guys are probably already far beyond level 0... The most I could ever do would be destroying your face...

Sap- I think I have already heard you saying that to someone else... Do you overuse this dialogue?
Ken- Not really… I was just warning you because if you somehow destroy my face, I'll kill you...
Kazuto- Yamato acts like that but actually he is a big softie towards the ones he thinks of as a friend...

Sap- Sounds like you think of him as a dog...
