1 Starting Line To Deadline

Surprisingly enough, sixty percent of the world's population, like in most early read novels and comic books, underwent a mutation. Nobody remembers how this mutation originated. Those who came before, going back many generations and generations, never thought to record this moment in history. Using abilities and possessing superhuman strength is now considered normal, and the old have been exceeded. All comic books and novels that discussed the employment of abilities, and such, were labeled trash.

Women and men with no ability would also seek mates with abilities. Because skills in this world may be passed on to one another. You only maintain 10% of your ability when you pass it on. And those who have an ability cannot be transferred another. However, with abilities, some people may be exceptionally lucky and get a Mutation Power. A Mutation Power can occur if both partners have a power. And once the baby begins showing signs of having and ability. They'll be able to preform both abilities, as one. Normally, once this happens, the baby, once of age are able to name their new found power. As an example, say, a woman and a man have a child.

Persay the lady possesses and aptitude of darkness, while the other possesses the ability of light. These abilities can be combined in order to produce. A power similar to Shadow. The figure in command of the power known as Shadow. Should he be able to execute specific strikes from each group. Alright, that's almost enough to send you on your way. Wait, I've skipped over something, those with power also have cells known as, A.C. Aptitude Cells, when using and ability, the users Aptitude Cells begin to dissolve. Needless to say they rearrange themselves, over time. "Alright, well that's it for History class!"

A man dressed in a burgundy colored suit, with a black tie exclaimed. The students then rushed out the door, and into their lockers. Reaching and pulling out a folder, and stacks, upon stacks of homework. Along with many assignments here and there. "Ah, high school kids, will always still be kids." The man said as he laid back in his chair. And with that followed up with a question. "I wonder, what's on Hero Network?" Hero Network, a social media platform. In which houses many Hero endeavors.

Just as the History instructor was about to click on a video. Outside his door, cries could be heard. Approximately forty kids gathered along the steps, carrying bundles of papers. They started counting down from ten and then threw their papers up in the air. Many of them yelled, "GOODBYE HIGH SCHOOL", while doing so. The first pupil to go was a young man named Roth Lo'tap. Back to the orphanage I go. Don't want to be here when things get ugly. Roth muttered this since no one else saw what he witnessed. Many people had just pushed past, someone known as Zachary.

Zachary was a student, commonly known as the strongest Superlative. Superlative a title given to those whose power, stretched far beyond Harsh, and Atypical.

Harsh Power Levels - 1, and 2.

Atypical Power Levels - 3, and 4.

Superlative Power Levels - 5, and 6.

Zachary was the strongest High Schooler, I knew. Although, I couldn't say I knew him in a good way. Once in a while he would either pick my brain about how he could make some cash. And or, ask me to run him some errands, during school hours. The first couple times we met, I denied everything he requested, and got this black eye. In which covers up about ninety percent of my face.

Roth thought to himself as he walked out of the opposing building. Roth stood 6' 3" tall in high school. He has golden-brown skin, and many people claim his pleasant aroma is one of his most distinguishing features. Many people comment on Roth's face being severely trapezoidal. In addition, he has a turned-up nose and angled lips. Within the light of the sun, his eyes have a light brown tint. And his brows are furrowed. Roth has skin-tight, curling, brown hair. Many would consider him attractive if he weren't classed below the Harsh levels. Unfortunately, he was not born with a Mutation Aptitude, or even a power aptitude.

He was also not transferred one before being abandoned at an orphanage. He observed a couple hoping to adopt as he entered the orphanage. Most would be overjoyed and strive their hardest to get adopted as a result of this. However, Roth has spent his entire life not being adopted. And has spent a total of seventeen years at the orphanage. Instead of welcoming the pair, he went into his four-bunk room. And he started thinking about how he might generate some further money. And also get himself a steady source of money, generally known as a job. If Roth had not been adopted before the age of seventeen. He would be removed from the orphanage once his birthday arrived.

As a result, Roth had a total of two months to...
