10 Entrance Exam Part 1

Today was the day of the UA examination, Izuku had woken up late as he was unable to fall asleep yesterday out of excitement and expectation. He had rushed as fast as he could without using his quirk, as it would be against regulations to use in public places without supervision.

As he reached his destination he could see a huge gate covering a large area, there was a big building with multiple parts shaped like an H from his perspective. While Izuku was gawking and distracted by the huge UA campus, he failed to notice a small pipe on the floor, which he tripped on, starting his fall to the floor.

Before Izuku had hit the floor while shocked a white bean bag was thrown right under Izuku, cushioning his fall. As he looked to see who threw it he noticed a beautiful black haired girl with bangs and a spiked ponytail. Her onyx colored eyes captivated Izuku as he stared at her stuttering.

While Izuku had become popular with the female population in middle school, he usually ignored them as they weren't after him for his personality, they were always after his popularity, quirk or looks. This meant that he had no real prior experience, causing him to stutter as he saw, probably the most beautiful girl he had ever laid eyes on.

The girl, looked to be having similar thoughts as she blushed looking at Izuku, they both stared at each other for a good few seconds before coming to their senses "Hello, my name's Momo Yaoyorozu, sorry for using my quirk but you looked like you would get hurt if you fell." "Thank you Yaoyorozu-San, my names Izuku Midoriya, being injured before the exam even begins would be a bad sign, so thank you for helping me." "We should probably head inside, the written exam is going to start soon." "Yeah we probably should, good luck on the test Yaoyorozu-San, I hope we end up in the same class." 'he seems like a nice guy, much better than the other students at my middle school... maybe recommendations being canceled this year was a good thing'.

While walking into the UA auditorium, he spotted Kacchan sitting in one of the desks and sat next to him, Katsuki had changed a lot over the past few years, mostly in his personality, with Izuku's quirk far surpassing his, he no longer had any basis for his pride.

He realized he wouldn't get everything handed to him on a plate after his defeat, there was always a bigger mountain, he was a frog in a well. This event opened his eyes, he remembered Izuku's offer a few years ago, and the events leading up to it and this moment.

Katsuki, at this moment, had an epiphany, if that day hadn't happened he probably would've been a prideful loser, relying on his quirk and natural talent to coast through life, without any real effort to back it up. He would be much weaker, which was the thing that stood out to him most. Katsuki realized he was feeling grateful for Izuku.

Izuku had been a great friend to Bakugo throughout their childhood, and even after their fight. Unlike his other 'fake' friends, Izuku treated him as an actual friend instead of someone to leech off of, he knew those friends wouldn't back him up if any real danger happened, but Izuku would.

Katsuki promised himself at this moment that he would pay Izuku back by being a good friend who would back him up at the most dangerous of times, and if Izuku ever got cocky, he would knock him down just like he was knocked down by Izuku.

Momo had similar thoughts, but different at the same time. She knew how bad and jealous people could be, especially the ones in her past school. Once her quirk manifested she was praised in public yet people talked badly about her behind her back, even her best friends. People had gotten close to her just to get information and anything they could bully her for.

She realized that Izuku was a genuinely good guy, someone who could be trusted, before this she was envied for everything from her family background, she was a politicians daughter, to her quirk, her body and even her intelligence. She was always looked at with jeering eyes, in recent years people had even started making rude remarks to loudly in the same room as her, expecting her not to notice.

Momo was a social person, these events had really hurt her, making her crave true friendship. she had made up her mind to make friends with Izuku even if he did not get into UA.

Present Mic walked up to the stage, once he got to the middle of the stage he said "Welcome to Today's live performance! Everybody say "Hey!"" Everyone looked at Present Mic with incredulous eyes, surprised he would act the same even with the amount of tension in the auditorium. "Well that's cool, my examinee listeners, I'm here to present the guidelines of your practical! Are you ready?!"

"Well in recent years, we have received a much larger amount of applicants, in fact this year we have received five times the amount of applicants we got ten years ago! We also canceled recommendations due to the sheer amount of students applying, that and the fact they were described as preferential treatment by the media. We also decided to make the entrance exam harder to make sure only the cream of the crop can join. Instead of having seven zones, we instead have one gigantic zone for all of you to fight in, twice as big as the total area of the seven zones. To make sure examinee's from the same school don't work together, students shall enter from different entrances."

"There will also be fine different types of villain robots this year instead of four, we added an even bigger robot to avoid! It will reset your points if you try to fight it, there are three types of robots that will provide points, the one points, two pointer and three pointer, and another robot that will provide no points, it can be seen as a trap robot as it is meant to be avoided."

"The zero and reset pointers represent villains so powerful, you wouldn't stand a chance against them, it's always better to have a hero that's alive instead of one that dies without cause. Attacking your fellow examinee's and playing the anti-hero will get you disqualified, the exam shall last 10 minutes, Please proceed to your marked entrances."
