1 A Spark of Hope Arrives

Welcome to Avalonia, A magical world full of Wonder, Mystery, and Adventure Inhabited by magical creatures and Anthropomorphic Animals, Magic was once the only commonplace, though difficult to master. After technological advances over the years, Avalonia became a world filled with both Magic and Technology.

In a floral village lived the Spluffettes, Blue-colored female foxes who are also princesses. One early morning, a strange shooting star from outer space fell from the sky and crashed into a strange and enchanted forest named the Forbidden Forest. One of the Spluffettes named Princess Spluff Blossom saw the star and tells Spluff Ivy, the princess leader, about it.

"Look Ivy! A shooting star!" Blossom says to her, Spluff Ivy looks at the shooting star as good as she can and realizes it's not a shooting star. "That's no star, Blossom! It's Alina and Videl's Space pod!" Spluff Ivy said, Just then, the Saiyan pod makes its way back to Planet Earth. They are really happy to be returning to the planet they love after so many years, but it's not for a good reason. She really hopes that Alan was able to escape the planet in time, and that he'll make his way here very soon. Alina and Videl crash lands down on the planet, and slowly makes her way out of the pod with Blaize in her arms. Instead of seeing the forest, they find themselves in someone's front yard.

In front of them is a giant luxurious mansion, which sounds very familiar to them. As they walk some more, they eventually come face to face with Khorona, who even though she looks older, she can tell its her. Khorona recognizes them instantly too, and the three hug happy to see each other again. Khorona is more surprised by the little dragon girl in Alina's arms too, as the little girls she met years ago are now dragon mothers.

Alina and Videl are invited into Khorona's house where she asks Khorona if another pod landed around here, as they sent their son here as well. Unfortunately, theirs was the only pod that landed in her front yard. The other one may have landed somewhere else on the planet. This really concerns the two Saiyan mothers, and she asks if they can go back to Spluff Grove to see if he landed around there, since Alina tried to get the pod to land around that location, but clearly she's not very good with that technology. Khorona definitely will take her there to see the Spluffs, but she wants them to meet up with her family first. Alina and Videl met up with Mana, and their daughter Sora, who is only a few years older than Alan. While they all meet, Khorona gets a call from her daughter, Sora, about an alien landing somewhere. This perks Alina and Videl up, as hopefully its Alan. Alina, Videl, and the Kamiya family all head out towards Spluff Grove where Mimi is at in hopes of seeing if their only child is there too.

Meanwhile, the pod Alan was in had landed in another part of the forest with no memory of his homeplanet and the events that happened there due to being hit with memory gas in the pod.

Alan still 5 years old, steps out of the pod, seeing the night sky of Earth, and feeling how light the gravity is here. As he climbs up, he comes across a Pichu in front of him. He makes friends with it and tries to look for shelter to stay in since he's in the middle of a large forest.

After they've arrived at Spluff Grove, everyone has a long awaited reunion with the blue fox girls. Spluff Ivy tells her that she and her girls saw the pods, and she's very sorry about her planet and her husband. Alina and Videl are really happy that they're all almost reunited, and asks if there has been another pod to come by here, as they still haven't found Alan. Ivy has only seen one pod, so isn't very sure, so now Alina and Videl are very worried. Where could their Alan be?

A long time ago, A princess named Amy Sparkle was an apprentice to the evil Queen Magica, an evil sorceress queen who has planned to conquer Avalar as it's evil ruler. And a clone named Sonia was created with Amy's essence to assist her as well. Magica sends her apprentices, to cause calamity to those she came across. One day, Amy and Sonia came across Spluff grove and tried to do her master's bidding, but ivy showed her some magic of her own which Amy found amazing and decided to learn magic from Ivy instead of Magica and became Spluff Ivy's new apprentice. However, being a non-Spluffette meant she had a hard time fitting in with them. Until, Amy found a purpose thanks to Alan before he was separated from them, While Alan was still unknown to everyone as the Spluffs try to figure out who he is.

Back with Alan, he and the Pichu are still looking for shelter until they come across a small cabin and decide to stay there for the night. Alan begins to wonder if someone or anyone would find but probably not, so he'll need to survive on his own until then. Alan then decided to do some fishing to get something to eat, and during his little hikes he runs into some monsters and starts using the self-defense and survival skills Ivy and her Spluffs taught him. Besides, who's gone tell him to come home, who's gonna give him a curfew, no one since he's on his own in the woods. Little did he know the greatest adventure he would ever face was just beginning.

1 month has passed and our group of Amy, Dawn, May, Sora, Mimi, Blaize Skystar, and the Spluffs meet up at Ivy and Atta's hut to grab their gear. They explain to him that they're all going out on their own hunt for the , which Ivy and Atta are happy to hear, as these kids deserve to have their own fun adventure. Amy Sparkle, she was not a Spluffette but a pink fox girl and a princess from a kingdom called Far Far Away. And Sonia is a clone of Amy but born a Spluffette.

Amy enters Spluff Ivy's house to see Ivy and the girls. Inside, they see Ivy working on a potion in her cauldron "Hey Ivy, What are you working on?" Amy asked, "It is a potion with astonishing properties. It was an old hermit who revealed the recipe to me!" Spluff Ivy explained to him. Amy becomes curious and she show them how the potion works using a plant as a test subject. The plant grows into a big and colorful flower and alan is amazed by it along with the girls. "Wooooah! Really impressive, Ivy!" Amy said in amazement, "Is not it? The problem is that I no longer have enough ingredients to prepare enough potion for the whole village!" Ivy said as she looks in her empty spluffberry jar. "I hope we can find them in the nearby forest. "Amy dear, while your away, can you and the girls go into the forest and find some spluffberries?" Spluff Ivy giving Amy and the spluffs a task, "Sure, Mother." Amy accidently says to ivy making her blush and Amy blushes too covering her mouth in embarrassment. Amy exits ivy's house with the girls following her. "Well, that was awkward." Atta said.

Meanwhile, Alan is preparing to move out of the cabin to do a little hiking to look for a new home. After fishing and chopping up wood, and on his way to find something to eat, he ends up angering a Sabrecat and outruns it off a cliff and into a river, losing it. While at the river, Alan puts his tail into the water as bait to catch fish. Soon, he drags a monstrous fish to the campfire to cook it. When he reached the water supply, Alan turned on the faucets to fill the two buckets. A small brook gurgled nearby, but due to sanitary conditions, their printouts had specifically pointed out (underlined with a thick wavy line and everything) that they were to use the water from the water supply for cooking.

After resettling her hat in its rightful place, she squared herself and said, "Now then."

"A little rest…" Alan trailed off taking a nap. During his little nap, Drifted-open eyes studied an open green field at night. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. Yet, there it was before his eyes was a large Castle.

He continued onward cautiously as he passed through the trees that connected to a village. This world seemed to be fragmented as he did not see the house at all. The landscape was also torn asunder. Uprooted trees as well as bricks from the trail and other debris were suspended in the air.

Suddenly, a voice spoke.

"A Star so full of Light."

He spun around, looking for the source. It was deep, yet it was light. It was hearty, and yet soft. It was kind, yet firm. It was distant, yet in his heart. It was echoing, yet quiet as the whisper of his mother's goodnight, on a late summer evening.

"You must keep your light burning strong."

No sooner had the voice finished speaking than shadows began appearing upon the glass: living, writhing, and twitching two-dimensional forms.

The shadows began to grow, and as the boy looked on in horror, they took on three dimensions: beady, glowing yellow eyes atop a short body. Their heads jerked around, like animals smelling a meal. Their long claws and twisted feet snapped and snatched at the empty air. The darkness pressed in all around.

"The day you will open the door is both far off and very near."

Suddenly, there was a toy sword in his hand, and very familiar. He swung it sloppily at the living shadows, which shrunk back from encircling him.

"The closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow becomes."

The shadows continued to twitch and move around him, just out of reach. As they swayed, they bumped into each other. Their borders merged, their edges became fuzzy and they seemed almost to melt together; eyes shifting and moving around blurred masses of twisted darkness, with twitching, murky appendages. Their mass grew and stood taller and taller, broader and broader.

"But don't be afraid..."

Alan stumbled back, and the shadow continued to grow and shift, looming over his tiny form, perched on the edge of the land.

"And don't forget..."

The eyes had merged all together into two glowing orbs the size of plates, upon a round head. Two great arms and legs sprouted, while the appendages morphed into long black tentacles where hair should've been. On its torso, the darkness retreated until a heart-shaped hole was formed right through its torso, now towering many feet in the air.

"You hold the mightiest weapon of all."

A great fist of darkness reached out for him, sharpened talons grasping. The toy in his hand was useless, and the boy could only shrink away as the giant hand eclipsed his vision.

It all became darkness again, with no upright or downright, no sky or sea, no sinking or rising.

"You are a Spark of Hope."

Unsure of what had awoken him, Alan rubbed at his eyes as he took in the view around him, and what he saw was beautiful purple grass growing in the entryway. Another passage went over a gap where shooting stars were falling. He gasped in awe at the sight as more and more fell while they got closer, the sky darkening with every step.

Suddenly, Alan stopped in the presence of Eldstar, one of the Star Spirits. Turning his attention to Eldstar. It was no doubt it was the same star he had seen.

"Welcome Alan….we've been waiting for you," Eldstar began. He moved away from the alien boy, only to have six other stars surround him.

"We're the Seven Star Spirits. Our job is to grant wishes of good people from our home in Star Haven, a place high beyond the sky. We're going to tell you something incredibly important. Please listen carefully. The other day, Magica and her followers invaded our peaceful Star Haven. They stole our prized treasure, the Star Rod, which we've carried since the beginning of time," Eldstar explained.

"The Star Rod…is powerful beyond belief…it can grant any wish. For as long as we can remember, Magica has been making wishes like, for instance… "I'd like to trounce Alan" or "I want All of Avalar to bow down to me." Of course, Stars ignore such selfish wishes. As a result, her wishes were never granted," Mamar added.

"Magica…that fiend…When she found out that we were ignoring her wishes and transported the Star Rod away, She seems so content right now, mainly because she wants to defeat you and capture your family and friends. Soon enough, though, I fear she will wish for more…and then terrible things will happen," Skolar pointed out.

"It is the responsibility of the seven Star Spirits to keep the Star Rod safe and use it properly. We must get the Star Rod back from Magica and return it to its rightful place! In order to do this, Alan, we need your help!" Muskular cried.

"Sadly…right now you are not strong enough to challenge Magica…she will make herself all-powerful by making wishes with the Star Rod. She is terrible to behold!" Misstar sighed.

"Once we seven Star Spirits are reunited in Star Haven, we can give you the power to fight Magica even with her newfound strength. With our help, you'll prevail!" Klevar assured.

"Alan…we are…Alas. We've nearly exhausted our power to talk to you. Although it looks like we are there next to you, it is only an illusion. We're using all out strength to communicate with you over a great distance. But even now, our strength is fading…We've been caught and are being held by Magica's followers in different places throughout Avalar. Please Alan; you need to rescue us!" Kalmar moaned.

"In order find the Star Rod before Magica does…and save your loved ones, and the other spluffs, and Avalar…we need your help…Please Alan…you are our last hope…and we will…" Eldstar was cut off as the last of their power was drained. They all disappeared one by one until Alan was all alone.

Unsure of what had awoken him and disturbed his nap, Alan rubbed at his eyes as he lazily took in the view around him, satisfying some strange worry from his slumber that he had lost something, or been lost himself. Some bizarre dream for sure—but content that all was as it should be, Alan, with might yawn, re-dedicated himself to his important work and, lacing his fingers behind his head, leaned back in search of happier dreams.

"Woah! That was a strange dream. Or was it for real? It looks like things are more serious than I thought…And what were they saying about "the other spluffs"?"

While he thinks, Pikachu caught his attention as he turns to see him standing next to him. "Hey there, Pichu. What are you doing here?" Alan asked, "Pika Pika." Pichu said. Alan thinks he and Pichu should head to Canterlot.
