5 Chapter 05
----Fiore, Magnolia----
Escanor can be seen walking down the streets while inspecting each buildings, seemingly finding something. He was still topless and barefooted with only his oversized pants on.
The people that saw him would thought that he's a beggar, but seeing the huge face of a lion on his back, they thought he was on a guild.
There are also some people that keep looking at him, to be exact, they were looking at his face and packed muscles, girls would blushed a little, while men has a look of envy seeing escanor has that kind of body.
Escanor keep walking down the streets, the events that happened ealier didn't bother him as he already got used to it, so he continued walking like normal, until he finally saw a huge sign on top of one of the buildings.

Those were the words that was written on it. Escanor left the orphanage at the age of 5 and he was not taught on how to read yet that time. He only learned how to read when a lady found him on the forest and taught him things.
Seeing the sign, escanor started walking on that particular building. When he was close on the building, he heard loud noises inside.
He frowned as he doesn't really like loud places, he got used on living alone and considered silence as his companion. After a while of standing outside, he then choose to enter and endure the noise.
*Creak*
Opening the door, he calmly walked inside without looking at anyone.
Noticing someone, the people inside took a glance at escanor, scanning him from head to toe as he was a new face here.
They also took note of the lion head on his back. They taught that he was on a guild already, but to what guild, they don't know.
"Heehhh, look at that guy! there's an exhibisionist like you gray!" A kid who has spiky colored-pink hair said.
"Huh?! Who you calling an exhibisionist Natsu?!" A black haired kid who only has his boxers on retorted.
"Huh?! You wanna fight Ice princess?!"
"I can see that you don't haven't had enough of my beating you flame freak!"
"Come at me you pervert!"
*Bam*
"You two! Stop making trouble!" A scarlet haired girl with armor on, punched the two on the head.
"Owww, that hurts erza!" they both said as they held their head in pain.
Erza then looked at escanor as she want to know what he's doing here.
Escanor still continued his way without looking at them and approached the counter and asked something on the receptionist on it.
"Can I register as a member here?"
"Yes, we are accepting new members on the guild.... but you can't join if you already have one". The receptionist said as she saw the back of escanor.
"I'm not in a guild. This is a birthmark, if you don't beleive me, check it". Escanor said calmly.
The receptionist nodded. While on the second floor, a short man can be seen drinking and was looking at escanor with interest.
He then jumped and reached the counter as he looked at escanor.
"You wanna join my guild kid?" The short man asked.
Escanor only nodded.
"For what reason?" The man asked.
"I need money. They say this is the strongest guild and has the largest amount of quest request. Meaning, more jobs". Escanor said plainly.
"Hmmmm.... Is that really a birthmark?" He asked the receptionist who checked the mark on his back.
"Y-yes master". She said as she can't beleive there could be a unique birthmark in the world.
"Wooooaaah! A birthmark?! That's so cool!" Natsu said with stars in his eyes.
"Heh". Gray only looked at escanor but clearly has interest in his eyes.
"Hmmm... ok kid! You can join!" The short man said as he asked. "Where do you want to put your guild insignia on?"
"To my right arm". Escanor said as the short man nodded as he let the receptionist put it on escanor's right arm. There, a red fairy tail mark appeared on escanor's right arm.
"Hmm, I am the third master of Fairy Tail, Makarov. Welcome to Fairy Tail, our family, now you are also a family! Welcome!" The short man said with a smile.
Escanor hearing the word "family", only scoffed at it as he nodded and turned around.
'That kid has a story'. Makarov thought as he looked at the back of escanor and he took a drink at his mug.
Escanor was about to go to the quest board when he was stopped by someone.
"Hey! I'm natsu! Let's fight!" He said as he took a stance.
Escanor stared at him and said. "No"
"Huh, why?" Natsu asked confused.
"Because I don't want to". He said as he looked at him.
*Bam*
"Stop making trouble natsu!" Erza puched him on the head again as she reprimanded.
Escanor looked at the scarlet haired girl and saw her looking at him. She then said. "Hi, I am Erza Scarlet, welcome to the guild, what's your name?" She asked him.
"....Escanor". He replied plainly.
Erza hearing that, only nodded as she smiled at him. "Don't be too stiff, here we are a family, so you don't have to be cold. You can ask me if you have questions or you need something". She said still smiling.
Escanor nodded and said. "Thanks". Then continued his way to the request board.
Erza looked at his back. She was happy that someone joined the guild that were close at her age again, but seeing his attitude, she can't help but be sad a little.
Escanor looked at the mission on the board and decided to choosed a mission that was close here and pay quite well.
He then took the mission request on the receptionist and after that, he left the guild.
"He looks like the moody type". Gray said.
"Yeah". Natsu nodded.
Erza only shook her head and sighed.
Escanor left the guild as he can't take the noise there, as he's just not used to it.
After he got out, he then went to a forest as he would be sleeping there like he used to and decided to the mission tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Mira, Elfman, and Lisanna kept walking on the streets of magnolia. Lisanna woke up already, but was in a sullen mood as she found out that escanor left already.
She also knew that he was the one that saved her, but she did not know that he killed those people as Mira and Elfman chose not to tell her.
While walking, Mira was kind of sad as well as elfman. They were sad for their attitude that they showed at escanor after saving lisanna. Especially Mira as she lost the feeling of warmth around and got reminded of her hand.
She looked down and keep on walking. After a while, they stumbled upon a loud place, they glanced at the window and saw people laughing while drinking, as well as kids their age talking and playing. They looked at the joyous place for a while, before they head out again.
They were about to leave, when suddenly.
"Hooh~ hello youngsters". A short old man suddenly appeared in front of them.
They were surprised as they didn't see him, but the man continued.
"I see that you have an interesting magic there". He said, making the siblings confused.
"If you want to know about your hand, come inside". He said as he notice mira trying to hide her hand.
This made the siblings surprised. After a moment of hesitation, they decided to go inside.
Inside, the people saw new faces again that looked like siblings with their same white hair. They followed makarov to the counter as he jumped on it and took a sit.
Mira looked at makarov as she said. "You said magic, are you referring to my hand?" She asked with hope.
Makarov nodded and said. "Yes, it is indeed magic. A takeover magic".
"Takeover?". Mira asked.
"Yes, it is a kind of magic who took any form and wield a power based on what form they had". Makarov explained with a smile.
"T-T-Then... can t-this be removed?" Mira asked as she showed her hand.
Makarov nodded. "I can help and teach you on how to control it if you like".
Hearing that, Mira was excited as she nodded. Lisanna and Elfman were also ecstatic hearing what the old man said.
After that Makarov taught Mira how to control her magic, while the other two siblings were looking around and got to talked with the kids there. Lisanna's sullen mood was uplifted when talking to others as she was now smiling.
After a while they decided to join the guild as they were convinced by natsu.
"Welcome to Fairy Tail!" Natsu said as he grinned.
"Want to fight?" He asked, excited.
"Heh, are you going to challenge anyone who would join you Flame Brain?" Gray said as he looked at natsu.
"Huh?! You want to fight me instead Droopy eyes?!"
"Come you Squinted eyes!"
*Bam*
"How many times are you going to do this? Also, you! Natsu! Stop challenging anyone like how you did with the earlier guy!". Erza said to natsu while frowning.
"There was someone who joined here before us too?" Elfman asked.
"Uhm, his name was escanor". Natsu said as he recalled the boy earlier.
"Huh? Escanor? He's been here?!" Lisanna asked with hope and joy.
"Yeah, he's kinda cold though, you guys know him?". Natsu asked.
"Yes, we travelled together on the way here, he also saved me from kidnappers". Lisanna said with a smile.
While Mira looked down looking sad.
"Heeehh, so he was strong?! I really should challenge him when he come back!" Natsu said, making erza shook her head and sighed.
They keep talking on the guild as they become happy, especially with the joyous atmosphere around.

Meanwhile, on the outskirts of magnolia, a group of people wearing all black outfits can be seen. They numbered about 50 with various weapons on them.
The leading man who has a scar on his cheek asked the man beside him.
"You sure he's here?" He asked.
"Yes boss, my magic allowed me to mark him last time. I am sure he was here". The man said to the scarred man.
The scarred man nodded as he looked at magnolia and grinned. "Just you wait boy, we would surely kill you this time. Hehehe". He said as they started walking again on the way to magnolia.
