2 Battlefield (1)

Kaito was not paired with Aki and Eiji for no reason. Each one of them played very important roles, which synergized pretty well. More importantly, all three of them were combat-type shinobi. They were made for fighting, made to become a fighting force for the hidden village.

[Sunagakure Shinobi - Aki (Lv. 12)]

Back in the academy, Aki was often bullied because she made it to the top of the class despite being weak physically. Taijutsu was not her forte, but she could make strategies to some extent and possessed amazing chakra control, challenging the high level genins in terms of control alone.

Thanks to this, she managed to specialize and become a ninjutsu specialist. After testing her affinity, she found out that she possessed wind affinity, and became a specialist of wind-type shuriken ninjutsu, capable of launching cleaving giant-sized shuriken.

That was the reason Kaito paired her with the weakest Iwa shinobi. He knew she would be able to take him out in a couple of shurikens.

As for Eiji, he was a sword specialist.

[Sunagakure Shinobi - Eiji (Lv. 15)]

Eiji was one year older than Aki and Kaito, and it showed physically. Focusing his training on his sword mastery and strength, he possessed more than 20 points of strength, which was quite above-average for genins. However, he lacked chakra control due to his civilian shinobi background, and it prevented him from coupling his sword mastery with powerful ninjutsu. Only time would tell if he would be able to outperform his peers and grow further.

As both Eiji and Aki rushed forward and started to attack, Kaito summoned two scrolls and started to attack as well.

[Shield Puppet n°13 - [D-rank]

HP: 420/420

Defense Power: 50

Skills: Block (D), Shield Bash (E), Spike Shield (E), Kunai Tongue (E)]

[Shuriken Thrower Puppet n°42 - [D-rank]

HP: 150/150

Defense Power: 10

Skills: Shuriken Launch (fire rate: 10/s) (D), Giant Shuriken Launch (1 ammunition) (E)]

Looking at the Lv. 14 taijutsu specialist from afar, Kaito knew that the shuriken launch would not be able to deal sustainable injuries to his opponent. Taijutsu specialists were known for their high vitality and agility, and although he seemed to be massive and focused on strength, it was unlikely the barrage of hundreds of shuriken would be able to deal massive injuries.

Still, it prevented him from rushing towards him and attack him.

Eiji clashed with the Iwagakure swordsman as well, and they engaged in powerful clashes of steel. Kaito trusted him. After all, Eiji was part of the three best swordsmen of his class, and he never missed a training session.

As for Aki, it was only a matter of time before she would finish off her Lv.8 opponent.

Kaito smiled as he heard the notifications.

The Lv. 14 Iwagakure shinobi was taking some damage. Although the shuriken never hit his vitals, he was unable to block them off. Kaito had constructed the Shuriken Thrower n°42 with the goal of making an unstoppable barrage of shuriken, meant to take care of weak bandits on a large scale, and prevent melee specialists from targetting him.

'What's he doing?', Kaito thought with surprise as the Iwagakure seemed to have given up on blocking the shuriken and started to charge towards him, using chakra to propulse him forward like a cat

The notifications only intensified
