Strange Chakra

Alarmed, Hitori immediately stopped and the two looked down towards the streets and they saw a young girl about the same age as Hitori with green hair with orange ends looking towards them.

Hitori saw who it was and his face immediately turned sour as he thought, 'this can possibly end well.'

He then jumped down as Temari excitedly chanted, "Weeeeeee!"

As they got down, they were met with a Pakura who approached them angrily, she took a good look towards them before berating Hitori, "What the hell do you think you are doing? Do you not know how dangerous that it? What if you accidentally slipped and fell?"

Hearing Hitori get berated like this, Temari was somewhat unhappy as she stared at Pakura and spoke, "Onii-san was taking me sightseeing. We were enjoying the wind."

"What?" Pakura asked bewilderedly as she did not expect Temari to stand up for Hitori.

"Hehe..." Hitori sheepishly replied as he spoke, "Temari, time to get off."

"Aww... This is all your fault," Temari was very unhappy when she heard that and she turned to Pakura and placed her anger on her as she got down and glared at her.

"I'm sorry about that. This is Temari Higashi," Hitori introduced Temari who replied with a hmph as she turned her head to the side and pouted while folding her hands.

"Temari, this is Pakura, my classmate in the academy," Hitori introduce her to Pakura who had a large tick mark next to her head as she did not expect to be treated in such a way by a child.

BRGH!!!

A loud rumbling suddenly came from both Pakura and Temari's tummies and both lowered their heads in disappointment.

"Sounds like you guys are hungry," Hitori laughed, "Pakura, you busy?"

"Why?" she asked.

"Let go get some snacks," Hitori spoke as he picked up Temari with one hand and dragged Pakura with the other to a small snack shop.

They were slowly enjoying their nice calm snack in the restaurant when Hitori curiously asked, "Pakura, are you ready to graduate from the academy?"

"Yep," she replied with a beautiful smile, "I'm very thankful that you were helping me in my training. I was able to use my clan's secret jutsu for the first time thanks to your chakra training."

"What? Onii-san your training Pakura?" Temari suddenly asked as she shoved another handful of roasted almonds into her mouth.

"Yep," Hitori replied as the waiter brought them three bowls of vegetable soup, "Thanks."

"Now let's eat up. Itadakimasu!" they all spoke as they began slurping the soup.

"Ho-ho-ho-ha-haw-hawt," Temari panicked as the soup touched her mouth and she began waving her hand towards her mouth as she desperately tried to cool it.

"Let me cool it for you," Hitori spoke as he placed his hand over the soup and injected a stream of wind chakra and the soup began to float as it was attacked by the wind on all side before being returned into the bowl, "Try it now."

"It's perfect now," Temari replied with a smile as she greedily began drinking the soup.

"This is really good," Pakura commented as she tasted the soup.

"How are Akemi and Akira doing?" Hitori asked, not wanting to let an awkward situation set in.

"They are doing fine. They told me that their dad was about to teach them some clan related jutsus so they couldn't hang out with me today. But they did tell me to thank you. Without you, passing the academy exam would've been harder without your help," Pakura replied.

"Good to hear," Hitori spoke as he smiled at her.

He was clearly not good at talking...

"We will get to know our teams tomorrow, isn't it exciting?" Hitori asked.

"I know right? I can't wait to hear that. Now that the war is over, we can travel more easily," Pakura spoke with a light smile as she was also very excited. Somehow, deep in her heart, she was praying for her and Hitori to be in the same team.

Seeing Pakura suddenly in a daze, Hitori observed her closely and curiously asked, "Hello? You okay?"

She was suddenly brought back to reality and when she say Hitori's face somewhat close to hers, she blushed in embarrassment as she flustered, panicking, she said, "Ah. Yes. I'm alright."

After they were done drinking their soup, they took a walkout on the streets. Temari was slowly getting sleepier and sleepier so Hitori decided to go back to the house and along the way, she fell asleep.

"I am quite curious. Who is she? I don't recall you being a babysitter," Pakura spoke out.

"Oh. Well, granny and uncle Rasa seem to be busy with something and aunty Karura is pregnant so I was tasked with taking care of their kids," Hitori replied as he placed Temari's chin on his shoulder and carried her with one hand.

"Strange... Can I carry her?" Pakura asked with a glimmer in her eyes as she couldn't help herself.

"Sure," Hitori answered and then placed Temari in Pakura's hands.

"She's really adorable," Pakura spoke with a smile as she was slowly immersing herself in Temari's cuteness.

"I know ri-" just as Hitori was about to continue, something strange happened. Hitori sensed something different in the air, a strange chakra could be felt and it was very destructive in nature, something he had never felt before.

"Pakura..." he spoke as his tone suddenly turned serious and he bent his knees.

"Take Temari to the house, I'll head on ahead. Something's up," he spoke before channelling chakra to his feet and dashing straight towards Rasa's house at an amazing speed that caused Pakura's jaw to drop.

She had never heard Hitori spoke in such a serious tone before, at least not at this level, so she knew something was wrong. She herself moved her feet as fast as she could without waking Temari up.

Hitori quickly sped up faster, as his right eye turned green and began glowing, he could see a strange wild red chakra spreading out from the bedroom of the house.

'Faster!' he shouted in his head as he applied wind chakra to his feet and he burst forwards.

Knowing that he would most likely be stopped if he went from the bottom, Hitori jumped up a roof and he aimed for the window. The chakra was getting stronger and he inserted more and more chakra to his eyes as he began to get worried that granny and the others were in danger.

Hitori made a few hand signs.

Suna Bunshin No Jutsu!

The sand that was resting on the top of the building suddenly materialized and a sand clone appeared.

He then jumped off of the roof of the building with the sand clone right behind him.

He then placed his feet on the sand clone's hand that was in a tensed position, ready to push forward and Hitori sent another burst of chakra outwards!

The clone also pushed it's hands out and Hitori was sent charging towards the house window and he was able to enter without much trouble.

As he entered the room, he saw that Karura was lying down on the bed with Chiyo and Rasa next to her, the nurses from before were nowhere to be seen. Karura's face was extremely ugly as if she had been exposed to extreme pain. Chiyo had sweat dripping off of her forehead as all the muscles on her body were tensed, she had her hand on Karura's belly which had seals entering. The seals stretched from throughout the whole bed and even onto the ground. Rasa was next to them and he was holding the tired woman's hand.

Sensing a burst of chakra, everyone in the room suddenly turned their heads to the window and they could see Hitori standing there with a worried expression on his face and shock appeared on their faces when they saw that Hitori's right eye was glowing with an electric green colour that seemed to peer into their souls.
