"Welcome back from that break. " Joel says with a smile.
" Yh, I have a feeling this part is going to be interesting."
" I think so too, because it's about Mr. Montenegro, the multi- billionaire of this time and age. His wealth and his looks are just amazing that, no girl can resist." Joel says and I notice that with this topic, he is being a little reserved but I won't.
" Regardless of his attributes as a ruthless man, who does not like people messing with him , he definitely does not cease to amaze us" I say with all seriousness. I don't get why everyone one is afraid of him but I am not, so, i hhave to say what I want. I really don't like him because I hear a lot of ill things about him and regardless of the fact that they might either true or false, I am tempted to believe them anyways. what will be the reason of the great fear people have for him. In every rumor, there is a little amount of truth.
" I don't know why Maria Mendoza is taking this too serious. she is not the first and I don't think she is the last either because we all know that he never stays in one relationship for long. "Joel states but I glare at him. How can he even speak that way. Okay maybe I am being partial but it is allowed right?
"Of course, guys like you will turn to defend ruthless heartbreakers for reasons I don't know. Tell me, since when did it become wrong to hope and believe that maybe, you are a little different?"
"And have you asked yourself what he told her to get the hope that maybe, she is different? Have u asked why players hurt so many people but still get more people falling into their trap?"
I asked not expecting an answer.
" Oh, let me tell you. It's because they are good at their game and what they do. They are very good in convincing and deceiving. They are able to make those people believe that they are different."Joel is actually speechless at the moment. I might have taken the issue a little personal but I had to.
" Mandy, I don't think we will agree on this issue since we have different minds"
" Of course, because there is no way I will support you on this and I won't allow you to justify his actions either."
" So you agree with the big fuss she is making over this petty issue.? I think she just wants to gain popularity."
"Come on Joe...."
"No you come on. You are being a feminist." He cut me off before I could complete my sentence. I rolled my eyes at him and he smiled at me charmingly.
"You love me" Joel winked and smiled charmingly my way.
"You know you love me even more." I smiled back at him. Then Stephen interrupted our lovely moment.
" Rap up now. You have only 3 minutes."
Joel turn to look at me.
"Baby, your time is up now"
" Come on Joel, who taught you English. it's not your but our time. Our time is up." I corrected him with my signature dimpled smile.
"What ever. But I really will have loved to continue but time is a spoiler of fun."
" Yh, I also don't want to go. I just started having fun."
"Aww, dear, just admit you are in love with me. okay, after the cameras go out you can tell me . This is how we come to an end on today's brand new episode of 'The celebrities fun time'.
" I know u all hand a fun time with me your new girl Mandy Natylin."
" Of course we did hunny. I am still your man Joel Redrigo." He winked at the cameras and that's it. We are done. To be frank, it was not that bad. All the crew members of the crew came out and it was all smiles and laughter. I wasn't that bad. was I? I know I was just great.
" Mandy"
Stephen calls walking towards me.
" Girl, I knew you will make me proud."
"Thanks Stephen" I respond
"You are a genius baby" Joel tells me.
"I know baby"
" But, the way you openly spoke against David Montenegro is dangerous. I am worried on your behalf" Joel tells me, with so much concern and worry in his tone.
" Daddy, don't worry to much. I will be fine and who says I am afraid of dangerous?"
While Joel and I were going on and on about his worry, a loud sound came off. Yh it's a ringtone of a phone. Everyone in the hall turned to look at the owner of that phone. It's Stephen and he was standing close to Joel and I. He picked his phone and answered the call. After some time he frowned and we knew there is something wrong but what could possibly go wrong after such a wonderful show. Stephen walk away from as so we could not hear what he and the person on the line talked about. The crew members started packing and putting the place back in order.
Joel grabs my hand gently and takes me to a quiet place.
"Mandy, I think bad news is coming and it's about the show. Mr Montenegro is very ruthless."
"Daddy, you worry too much. I am not afraid so don't be."
"Mandy, this is a serious issue...."
"Daddy, am not afraid. come on.
"Mandy, am serious. This is not something you should take lightly."
"Joel, please. I need your comfort instead you trying to make me panic. Come on."
Joel nodded his head in agreement.
" Okay, fine. what do you want me to say? Mandy, you can make it and that you are a winner? Funny, very funny. Let's face reality dear."
"oh, so trying to get me scared is the reality you are talking about?"
"Hey you two." Stephen's voice shuts us up. we both turn to look at him and the expression on his face says it all. there is trouble, real one but I am not afraid, for reasons i myself don't know.
