4 Sara

Celia didn't say anything but her blank face and placid eyes were screaming. She was bored. Sara broke into a smile, even as she was swirling around the motionless Celia.

'So,' Sara said in a drawl. 'We can dance. Or just float around. I like it. But if it doesn't sound very appealing, we can also do something else.'

Celia's eyes continued the conversation. Like what, they asked.

'We could go somewhere,' Sara answered easily. 'See someone. Actually, now that I mentioned it, it does sound very appealing. So, let's go.'

Not waiting for a reply, Sara grabbed her sister's hand and pop went the darkness.

'Are you serious?' Sara asked.

Celia didn't bother answering, and that was all the answer Sara needed. Sighing sadly, Sara turned toward their new friend and introduced herself.

'I'm Sara.'

Yiyi's head was frozen, so all of her actions were an unconscious reflection. She stretched out her hand as Sara offered hers, and shook hands.

Sara smiled, and continued to introduce her sister. 'This is my sister, Celia. She's very strong.'

Yiyi nodded. Celia squinted. Sara grinned.

'I don't know her,' Celia told Yiyi, while glaring at Sara.

Yiyi's mouth hung wide open, again. Her eyes were shuttling between the two sisters who suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Even before she could convince herself they were a creation of her overwhelmed mind, they gave themselves names and personalities. They seemed as real as her, if not more.

'What's going on?' Yiyi asked slowly, after much too long.

Celia shrugged, staring at Sara. Sara shrugged, and accepted the baton. Taking a deep breath, Sara explained.

Yiyi listened carefully, and understood all of what Sara said. At the end though, she remembered almost nothing at all, except that the sisters were from somewhere far away and only she could see them and they were here just for her. She didn't find any trouble accepting them as the best friends she had ever had. And that brought a smile to her face without her explicit permission.

'None of that is important,' Sara said, as if sympathising with Yiyi's troubles. 'What matters is what we're to do now.'

Celia agreed with a nod. 'Exactly.'

'So,' Sara said excitedly. 'Let's be off to find the dark prince.'
