1 Intro

In the land of Seyimar, a person's fortune is decided almost entirely by luck. For as long as the inhabitants could remember they had been summoning creatures to be companions, helpers, and in some cases even warriors. These creatures were completely loyal to their summoner, as was the summoner to them. There were hundreds of different kinds of creatures one could summon and they were called bonds. A citizen of Seyimar was allowed to summon their first bond at the age of 15, as it was sometimes dangerous to do it sooner in most cases. Along with your first bond you would also awaken your spiritual energy. The amount of spiritual energy one had would determine the amount of bonds or the strength of a bond people could have. You're first bond could use all of your spiritual energy, or you could repeatedly summon weaker bonds.

After Hundreds of years of summoning it is believed that all of the bonds have been discovered except for incredibly powerful and extremely rare types. All types of outlandish and otherworldly creatures could be summoned as a bond and every type has been documented meticulously on both their appearance, and skills and uses. Bonds have two different types of classification: strength and class.

Bond Strength:

Bonds have a chance to move up on strength rating as they mature, and it isn't uncommon to see some born powerless and grow into a weak rating.

Bond Classes:

Bonds can be in one to two classes depending on their uses, temperament, and power. Creature and familiar classes are the most common, and beast and warrior classes are the rarest.

Beast - Bonds that don't form a close connection with the summoner and serve no purpose. They have powerless strength, and the only silver lining about taming one is that they take almost no spiritual energy.

Creature - Bonds that don't usually form a close connection with their summoner, and have minimal uses outside companionship; strained as it normally is. Usually of weak strength, and tend to resemble animals that exist in Seyimar already.

Familiar - Bonds that tend to form an extremely close connection with their summoner, but have little uses outside companionship. Usually of weak strength, however some rarer types can be classified as average strength. A lot of Familiar type bonds resemble animals found in Seyimar.

Laborer - Bonds that have varying uses in everyday tasks. Many laborer class bonds are used to man basic machinery, perform physical labor, or act as hired help. Laborer class bonds are very appreciated, and widely seen as the most useful type of bond to summon. Most have average strength, but aren't suited for fighting.

Warrior - Warrior class bonds are a one way ticket to success. While the most rare warrior class bonds are more sought after than even worker class bonds. If you can summon a powerful you are offered a spot in the military academy to train with your bond and start a career in the army. Warrior bonds form close connections with their summoners out of trust and respect.

Summoners will use these to rank their bonds, for example, a weak familiar or a strong laborer.
