New Light

Shaw went to the gathering spot were everybody had being told the previous day to assemble .

When he arrived everyone's gaze fell on him as he looked different and more handsome ,among the fifteen were four girls ,they gathered together has they giggled with hot red checks.

" Am I the only one seeing that Shaw had already grown more taller and more healthy " Some of the guys that had dislike for Shaw gathered together to gossip " Yes, I notice he might have used some unorthodox means to make his self more stronger " a plump boy named Charlie said .

Another boy said " He might have meet with the spirit of his dead parents and received blessings " They all laughed out loud in satisfaction.

Shaw was unaffected has he was used to such disgusting words .

Master Wilfred finally arrived they all bowed towards him ,he just waved at them ,all his focus was on Shaw .

He stared at him for a long time ,he was the closest to Shaw in the entire family ,he even knew about Shaw's body status more than Shaw himself did .

And what he was seeing now, was a complete new Shaw he couldn't hide his curiosity again has he said with haste and anxiety " Shaw follow me now " .

He didn't even wait for Shaw to reply as he held his wrist and dragged him with fast steps into the combat room .

They had enough time to spare ,so Wilfred was not worried about getting late to the venue which was the Sunset clan .

The combat room was a large room that had several equipments and resources for combat ,this was mostly were the warriors of Alfred's family took their spars or battled with golems ,everything present in the combat room were standard equipments for Revolver warriors and above .

Equipments were not available for warriors like Shaw in the combat room ,so Shaw was surprised at was he was doing here .

" First of all ,your increased stature and probably your strength , i hope you didn't go through an unorthodox means " Master Wilfred asked curiously .

Shaw shook his head signifying "No" .

"Are you sure " Master Wilfred asked once again .

This time Shaw talked " No master " even though he didn't know for sure what the egg was he knew deep down from him that the egg was good .It might be because he also possessed something like that in his body.

Wilfred heaved a sigh of relief ,he didn't want to know how Shaw just transformed ,as long as it was a righteousness means and had no side effect he was in support .

Shaw also heaved a sigh of relief in his heart ,he was glad that Master Wilfred didn't question him about how he got about it , he could have told him but sometimes something's were better not known ,it wasn't that he didn't trust Master Wilfred , no ,he did ,he didn't know if the egg will later lead him into trouble so it was better he kept it to himself,as something's were better kept secrets .

" Now I want to see if your strength has also improved ,if it also increased ,then your are good to go " Wilfred said has he waved his hands and a golem suddenly appeared

" This is a golem with the strength of one bruin battle with it while I ascertain your strength "

Shaw was surprisingly not scared but calm, even to Shaw himself he was surprised " when did I become so bold and calm in nature " .

Wilfred raised his brows in surprise ,it came to him as a surprise on how Shaw was still standing there with a calm expression on his face ," It should be a result of whatever happened to him yesterday " Wilfred had a satisfied expression it seems whatever happened to Shaw was of a good result ,one should know that only warriors which had awakened either a bloodline ,physique or constitution ,or became summoners could wield the strength of a bruin .Then when they improved, their strength will improve .

Shaw clenched his fist ready for some action ,Wilfred formed a barrier round the golem and Shaw with essence force ( in place of Qi ) he did so ,so has to use the barrier to hold down Shaw when he was sent back flying by the golem.

" Are you ready " said Wilfred. Shaw replied by nodding his head.

"Two"

"One "

"Go"

Boom..

The golem projected itself towards Shaw without no warning ,it raised its fist high ready to dismantle Shaws arm .

Shaw was not idle even though he lacked enough battle experience he knew what he was suppose to do ,he also raced towards the projected golem as he also raised his fist ,it was time to check the might of his newly found strength .

Boooom.....

The two titans finally met ,but the scene of Shaw sent flying in the air disappointedly didn't happen ,rather the golem was fling into the air ,with the arm it used to receive Shaw's punch dismantled. The golem landed on the floor of the combat room lifeless has if it had being smashed by a mountain .

Shaw rechecked his fist with a doubtful expression on his face "did I just do that , I defeated that golem " Shaw got down on his knees and broke into tears ,the trauma of the past years caused by the weak state of his body was something that was very hard for someone of his age to handle if it wasn't for the constant care and help of Master Wilfred he might have gone deranged countless years of tears, pains and heart piercing words had being washed away by that punch ,now a new path and light had shined on him and dispersed the darkness in his heart .

Wilfred googled at Shaw in utmost shock "am I seeing things did he just .. if miracles are real then right in front of me is a living miracle ".

He annulled the barrier and walked towards Shaw ,he raised him up and took him into his arms and rubbed his hair ,his eyes were filled with ecstasy and peace . After a long time he composed himself and knocked Shaw's head " stop acting like a child ,others are waiting for us outside " .

Shaw rubbed his eyes and laughed he had buried the emotional trauma of past years deep in his heart know Shaw was a new born ready for the annual baptism .
