37 The demons of purgatory and frost!

"Hey, they are so soft! Let's play! Catch!" Lux grabs one of the cloud balls before throwing it around the deck

"I got it!" Usopp runs toward it wanting to play volleyball when a snake emerges from the cloud, trying to bite him.

"Don't worry! I'm here to help!" Usopp dodges and Braum punches the snake away.

"W-w-w-WHAT THE HELL?!?!" Usopp screams shitlessly.

"Oi, curlybrows. There is a cloud in front of you." Zoro warns him.

"I'll kick it far away, then. They must be snake nests!" Sanji kicks the cloud.

*Boom!*

The cloud explodes leaving Sanji full of soot.

"Well those balls are booby trapped then." Robin comments while glancing at them.

"Should we just shoot them down?" Annie

"Hohoho! You never know what's inside them!" Satori chuckles.

"Who are you?!" Siren turns around looking at the new foe.

"Hohoho! Heso! You did well to choose my challenge of the ball." Satori

"Is that ball talking to us or to his fat? I thought Gragas was fat, but you are just a ball with a head and a few limbs sticking out." Annie looks disgusted by the fat guy.

"I agree! Gragas feels as better company as well." Braum nods.

"Did he eat too many dumplings to turn like that?" Sanji speculates.

"Man, your momma's ass had to be so big to give birth to you, she must have taken all the space of this forest when she sat down." Annie

"... I guess I will need to execute the kid first." Satori

"You with your haki? You wish! Braum!" Annie laughs before she has Braum toss her up.

"What do you mean haki? You mean or mantra? That's a gift given only to the faithful! Now I will teach you!" Satori prepares to dodge and use his impact dial.

"Disintegrate!" Annie starts throwing firebolts.

Satori prepares to dodge the bolts when they suddenly follow his movements.

"What the?! Shit!" Satori uses his impact dial to destroy the firebolt.

"Hey fattie! I'm still here~! Incinerate!" Annie uses her flamethrower ability to change her flying path towards Satori.

"What the hell is up with this kid?!" Satori touches one cloud ball, making it crash into others, triggering a chain reaction with all the balls flying towards Annie and the ship.

"Molten shield! Incinerate!" Annie forms a fireshield around herself before using the flamethrower to trigger the balls coming towards her.

Some had animals inside that were burned to death, some had arrows or something similar fly at her while others just exploded, sending her flying away.

"Monsoon! Howling gale!" Janna uses her ultimate ability to blow away all the balls coming towards the ship while sending a tornado towards Annie, clearing the bath of balls while ignoring Annie so she isn't knocked away.

"Stand behind Braum!" Braum jumps using his ability to precisely appear near Annie and catch her.

"Thanks uncle Braum!" Annie thanks him before standing up on Braum's shoulder.

"I can see you are not just a fatass but also a pussy! I wouldn't be surprised if I accidentally punched your boobs!" Annie taunts him.

"Hohoho! My name is Satori! I am one of the vassals of the omnipotent god Enel. I rule over the jungle of the forest of no return. And I will make this your grave little girl with the foul mouth!" Satori grins at her with a somewhat stiff smile.

"Well my name is Annie! The daughter of the omnipotent daddy Lynx. In his name I will enact your judgement with 1000 years of death! Daddy!" Annie grins savagely while calling me over the line.

*Fwoooo!*

After a few seconds, a blue portal outlines itself near Annie. The portal connects to the other side and out comes a hand giving over the cursed baton to Annie.

"I'm so PROUD! Have fun~ Just be quick, I have another guy to crucify with this thing~" My voice echoes through the portal.

My hand lets the baton fall into Annie's hands before disappearing into the closing portal.

"Hehehehehehehehe…!" Annie starts to chuckle, looking at Satori with a sadistic glint in her eye.

"Uuuuuh? What is wrong with this kid?" Satori got uncomfortable looking at her smiling and asked our crew.

"She just takes WAAAAAAAY too much after her father." Mikita smiles bitterly.

"I would run if you value your innocence." Buggs looks at Satori like he is being sent on a kamikaze mission and salutes him.

"Well we are now fucked. We have officially a mini Lynx in the making." Nami sighs.

"I just feel sorry for our future enemies. Annie did say she wants to lead a crew made up from his kids…" Lola has a bad gut feeling about it.

"Imagine if Lynx passes that technique as a family technique…" Zoro and the others just shiver at the thought.

"No asshole will be safe in the Grandline! Fear the ship of the Clawed kids!" Buggs just wants to dig a hole and hide it there.

"Ok, guys! You go forward, me and Braum will take care of this fatass~" Annie smiles towards the crew.

"He is all yours! Go go go!" Usopp doesn't want to witness this.

The ship starts to sail further with Satori unable to do anything since the way is blocked by Annie and Braum, while Janna is warding off all the bombs with her wind.

"Fine you want to fight me?! Only 10% survive the challenge of the ball!" Satori grinds his teeths in annoyance.

"Because you are so fat and can't catch the fast ones?" Annie

"Oh now it's on bitch!" Satori has enough of being insulted.

Braum jumps and runs around dodging or shielding from the cloud balls. Annie is all the while standing on his shoulders while throwing her firebolts at Satori.

"Damn you two just don't give up! Just die already!!" Satori causes another chain reaction of cloud balls to focus on the pair.

"Braum! Throw me!" Annie tells Braum.

"Go for it kiddo!" Braum grabs the baton she is holding onto before tossing both towards Satori.

"Unbreakable!" Braum lies onto the ground with the shield on top, creating an energy barrier that covers him wholly from the attacks of the hundreds of balls.

*Boom! Prang! Shik!l,...*

Explosions, weapons and whatever else Satori managed to stuff inside was testing Braum's shielding ability, but unable to break it.

"Ha! You hit like baby ram! No horns yet!" Braum laughs under his shield.

"Incinerate! Dropping payload- Tibbers!" Annie uses her flamethrowers on her feet to fly further over Satori while dropping Tibbers.

Satori prepares to react, until he recognizes it to be a teddybear.

"Hahaha, you want me to play with your teddy bear? How stupid!" Satori catches Tibbers and laughs at Annie as she lands on a tree behind Satori.

"Who says about you playing with Tibbers? Tibbers will play with you~" Annie smirks at him.

"What do yo-!" Satori feels the teddy bear preparing something and tries to throw it away, but too bad.

*Growl~*

Tibbers is already full grown and smiles sadistically at Satori while holding onto his arm.

"Let go of me!" Satori tries to damage Tibbers with an impact dial.

But around Tibbers a fire shield erects, blocking the blow and only pushing him back enough for Satori to free himself.

Still, he was left open for Braum's Winter's bite ice projectile and Annie's firebolt.

"Ouch! Wait why am I so slow?!" Satori panics seeing the two closing in on him.

Annie Keeps throwing the firebolts most of them deflected by Satori while closing in on him. From the other side Tibbers comes to Satori face to face.

"Fuck, you are annoying!" He deflects Tibbers as well, storing the power and returning it to them.

At close range Annie manages to use her flamethrowers to burn him unobstructed by the dials.

"Get away little bitch!" Satori kicks at her.

Annie blocks with Molten shield as she flies back from the kick.

"You dare hit a kid? And the one of my best friend?! Now I give more than harsh talking to!!" Braum jumps to Tibbers with his ability before punching Satori hard.

Satori flies away and crashes into the ground unable to move- concussive blows got procc-ed by four hits and stunned him.

"Sometimes, shield becomes smashing board! Meteoric fissure!" Braum jumps high and sends me a request for Mikita's increased weight.

*BOOOOM!*

A giant fissure appears on the ground, sadly Satori recovered fast enough to not be hit with the brunt of the hit.

"Ok, I had enough of your bullshit! Ball dragon!" Satori forms a dragon from the balls and starts controlling its path to follow after Annie.

'The man is strong, but he has less damage and more defense. She on the other hand does more damage with her fire and taking care of her, the bear will also become powerless!' Satori thinks to himself.

"Hohohoo! Which one is the fireball? My ball dragon is made of surprise clouds- some are filled with blades, some with explosives and one special fire ball. Set off the fire ball and it will cause a giant fiery reaction!" Satori laughs as he sees the little girl running away.

"Pussy fatass!!! Get here yourself!" Annie curses at him as she runs away from the dragon.

"Annie! Come here!" Braum jumps towards her and tries to block the dragon, but it goes around trying to focus Annie.

"You coward! Hiding there while throwing explosives at a child!" Braum yells.

"You say that when it's a three versus one?!" Satori yells back.

"You want me to leave a little girl with a fat bastard like you alone?! You disgust me you pedo!!" Braum throws his shield to the ground, runs to Annie and jumps with all his power towards her.

Without the several ton shield weighing him down, his power and speed is unhindered as he effortlessly jumps over the ball dragon, approaching Annie. But there he is caught on something.

"What is this?" Braum hangs on and grabs the rope.

"So this is how you control this worm? Have a taste of your own medicine!" Braum grins as he pulls with his full power on the dragon and Satori, yanking them to come towards him.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?!" Satori almost shits himself as he comes flying towards Braum and from the other side, the dragon approaches.

"Defending my friends." Braum smiles like he is done.

"NOOO!!! UNCLE BRAUM!!!!" Annie feels a chill as she sees Braum making such a maneuver without his shield to protect him.

*ROAAAARRR!!!*

Tibbers roars as he picks up the shield overhead and throws it towards Braum.

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!!*

A massive explosion appears in the sky, sending Annie and Tibbers flying away even with their Molten shields activated. A giant crater is left on the ground under the explosion. A little silence follows as nothing is seen in the crater.

"HOLY SHIT!!! I ALMOST DIED!!!!" Satori is full of black soot as he crawls out from under Braums shield.

Looks like Braum didn't manage to get the shield in time but it protected Satori.

"NOOO UNCLE BRAUM!!! WHERE ARE YOUUUU?!" Annie rushes into the crater with Tibbers, ignoring Satori as they start to dig around trying to find Braum.

Tears started rolling down her cheeks as Braum was her second father-like figure after Lynx.

"Please be safe! PLEASE BE SAFE!!! I SHOULDN'T have been so cocky!! I SHOULD have asked for some help just in case! Please be safe uncle Braum!!!" Annie starts to cry without holding herself back.

"Who will make everyone feel safe with his presence? Who will smile so warmly that melts our worries away? Who will play with me, when daddy isn't? Who will bring more milk?... Who can replace my uncle Braum?! Hic!" Annie starts to choke on her words as she tries to dig anything remaining from Braum.

"Hohohoo! He isn't coming back from that explosion little girl! And you are next!" Satori starts to chuckle as he charges at her.

Tibbers sees him and tries to get into his way, but he gets blown away effortlessly with the impact dial into the far off forest.

"Hohohoo! I saved the power of the explosion as it blew the shield into me. My arm might hurt from the amount, but it's time to say goodbye girlie~" Satori laughs as he closes in on Annie again.

But he stops as he feels a threat from her.

"You…. YOU CAUSED THIIIIIIS!!!" Annie turns around with green flames raging from her eyes.

The surroundings heat up immensely with some of the scorched ground starting to release even more smoke. Her Molten shield forms once more around her, but this time it's so thick, you can barely see through it. Flames burst outwards in streams like a geyser and after a few seconds, all the flames start to circle around the shield engulfing it whole.

"Gyaaaaaaaaa-GRRRYAAAAAAAA!!!" The stream of fire expands further out before starting to form a fire pillar.

"WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING NOW?!" Satori has a bad feeling the searing heat and he is now without any balls.

The pillar starts to concentrate in the middle until it forms a figure. Annie enlarged herself to the size of 4 meters high, her body is covered with armor of condensed fire. Her eyes are replaced by two green colored infernos that seem like they can burn souls.

"It's…. YOUR FAULT!!!" Annie's voice sounds like it came from the depths of purgatory as she charges at the Satori who probably shit himself already.

Her punches and kicks are fast, with Satori barely evading them until one has actually connected.

*Boom!*

The punch generated an explosion that blew Satori stunned into a giant tree in the distance with several burns all over his body. Annie comes closer and stares at the poor guy.

"You… Don't deserve… A quick death…" She waves her hands dissolving the fire armor on her hand before she starts to use him as a punching bag.

"Death… Is too easy… On you… But a cruel one… Fits..." Annie mutters but still prepares her final punch, this time coating it with a large amount of fire.

But before she can deal the final punch, two hands pat on her shoulders. Turning her head in annoyance, she gawks at who she sees.

First it's the injured Tibbers who is immune to her fire holding her left shoulder. The other…

"Uncle… Braum?" She asks with her flames instantly losing most of their power.

"But it's enough!" Braum is holding on her left shoulder but he isn't damaged by her fire.

He is covered from head to toe in armor that looks like his Unbreakable ability. His skin below the armor is slightly grayish as well.

"UNCLE BRAUM!!!" Annie hugs Braum in a bear hug.

"You've grown so big, Annie! I'm proud! Told you my milk is the best! Hahahaha!" Braum laughs, never thinking the size difference between Annie and him would be reversed.

The flames around Annie dissolve as she slowly returns to her normal size with tears in her eyes.

"I'm glad you are alive!" Annie keeps hugging Braum.

"Winters freeze!" At this moment Braum becomes serious as he punches behind Annie with a fist covered in ice.

*Boom!*

The ice froze the dial of Satori as he tried to sneak attack, making it explode in his hand from the contained power from before. Braums just stares coldly at Satori without damage because of his armor while Satori on the other hand…

"AAAAAHHHHH!!! MY HAAAAAND!!!" Satori rolls on the ground clutching his massacred right hand with tears and snot running down his face.

A frozen dial exploding with that much power stored inside blew his hand into smithereens.

"We just spared you and you sneak attack? Pathetic." Braum looks at him with the coldest gaze- one so cold that would even send a chill to anyone living in the Freljord. Especially knowing that Braum is the one who gave such a gaze.

Tibbers, no matter how exhausted and damaged, had his fire reignited by rage as he lunged at the exhausted Satori and held him on the ground.

"Thanks Braum." Annie let go of the hug, wiping her tears before turning around.

"Since dad will be the Deal demon… I will be the Purgatory demon~" Annie smiles at Satori with her eyes igniting in green flames again.

"Now I did promise daddy, so let's let you experience something worse than death~" Annie skips away back to the crater and comes back holding something- the cursed baton!

"Uncle Braum, if you were so kind~?" Annie smiles as she hands over the baton.

"Anything for you Annie~" Braum loses his cold look to smile at Annie before taking away the baton.

"Braum forgot how did Lynx say it again… Oh right! Let's make it Braum's as well~ Frozen thousand years of death!!!" Braum coats the entire baton in ice before he aims and throws it like a javelin straight at the pinned Satori's asshole.

"Ghue?!" Satori is unable to say anything nor scream in anything comprehensible.

"Now it's my turn~ Tibbers~ Inferno's tortuorous thousand years of death~" Annie smiles and turns around not planning to see the end.

Tibbers grins as he positions himself while still holding Satori.

*Flop! Grip~*

Tibbers slides the handle of the baton in one of the holes in his body, before gripping it tightly in place. Heat passes onto the baton before Tibbers starts to move with delicious revenge.

[Rest in peace Satori. May your ass recover over the next 1000 reincarnations~]

Braum stops his unbreakable armor, the gray color of his skin recedes and he picks up his shield, leaving with Annie into the trees.

"Braum has noticed something." Braum says to Annie as they make their way to rest in the forest.

"What is it~?" Annie smiles in a good mood while looking up at him.

"We have our original personalities. But after Lynx summoned us, our personalities started to match with his. I would never do that thing before I met him." Braum thinks about it.

"We change all the time. You once told me that experiences forge who we become. Staying with daddy, we picked up some of his quirks, but we also are more free to develop! Like my giant form and your new armor!" Annie smiles at him.

"You are right! I'm glad we grew a bit more together!" Braum smiles at Annie.

"Mhm~! Oh! Seems like Tibbers is done! That fatass breathed his last breath! He is coming back to us." Annie informs him.

"First we rest, then we find the others." Braum

"Yep~" Annie agrees as they both lean on one tree and start napping.
