Headache thumping like a drum he woke up gasping for air eyes shuddering open he looked up and all he saw was a black void devoid of all light, like the black sea where the stars twinkled but devoid of everything, he could feel a solid floor touch his back ,he lurched forward upon he knees and his head started to thump once more remorselessly as he stumbled toi the floor it was the same ,avoid but a soilid surface of pure darkness

Looking behind him shuddering under his own motion he saw nothing, the voice seemed to echo throughout space.
