1 SUMMER OF 69 .

CH -1 FIRST TIME I SAW HER ..

Its was 25 of June 1969 . I was travelling on train from Tokyo. Sun was shinning bright and clouds were all clear, it was a beautiful day to visit my grandma.

Around 4 o'clock I reached Hinohara village. Where my grandma lived

I got off Train. It was a beautiful evening , birds were singing their songs ,air was fresh in village and a hot breeze touch my face . I just got out from station and I saw a women standing right in front me "middle age but with a face that can make any man wanting for her" waiting for someone.

AKINE!!!! Someone shouted , "It was a scary voice, after listening to which a small child can start crying and maybe not stop for quite few hours ". Then suddenly, that middle age women turned around and started running towards that man.

"Poor AKINE, what worst can happen to her being forced to live with that man. If it wasn't for her father, She could have married a rich guy and lived her life happily after but looked like destiny chose something else for" a lady standing near me said.

"One have a face of angel and the other demon" may god never punish someone like her, a shopkeeper said.

Someone said" I have even saw KEN beating her".

Maybe that man(ken) heard him and stare at him like he will kill him in front of whole town.

After listening to all though things I started walking and kept thinking "what could have possibly have gone wrong in her life", " what about her father" ," why wouldn't someone love that angel", they talk about.

"I kept thinking those all things that other talking about".

In between this I reached my grandma house

My grandma was 65 year old , a kind hearted person. She was living alone for 5 years. As grandpa suddenly died with a heart attack.

I was standing in front of house . My grandma saw me (looks like she was coming from an evening walk) and asked me "OO!!!! HAROTO, what are u doing here?". U didn't even told about u coming for a visit.

Well grandma it was a surprise

Grandma suddenly had tears in her eyes. Her face showed an expression like she was feeling lonely and wanted someone to live with her for sometime.

"Well grandma I will be living with you in this summer", even I don't know why I said that. My plan was to stay with her for one night and go back to Tokyo next day. But after listening to that, she had a very big smile on her face like a small child have it when they are given their favourite thing to eat.

"Well, lets go inside Haruto" grandma said

Grandma house was still looking same when I visited as 16 year old child. Nothing changed. U could see a painting in house that grandpa wanted to build on left hand side while entering . Right after entering u can see stairs. On the right was a big room, outside which have a garden. Next to that big room there was laundry area and bath tube. On the left hand side of gate there was kitchen and next to kitchen there was a another room where grandma and grandpa used to sleep.

"HARUTO, u can keep your things in that big room" grandma told me with a big smile on face.

"But where will u sleep grandma " I asked grandma

"At my usual place"

Maybe she did miss grandpa thats why she was sleeping in that room. Room that grandpa loved. Because whenever sun rise first rays in house entered though that room. And this was room where he spend most of his young days.

"Grandma, I am going to take bath" I said to grandma after keeping my things in room

"Ok haruto, I will make dinner in that time" grandma said in her low voice

I just got from bath . I saw a women entering our house very quietly while going towards kitchen from our front door . She had her back towards me.

And when she turned ,she was same women that i saw out station.
