You used to get judged on your looks.. Or at least that is what you thought. And you only parent (an careless and imprudent father) wasn't much of a supporter.

You are sitting on the wall with your only true friend. She noticed that you looked more depressed than usual. "Y/N, are you okay?" she asks. On the verge of crying you start talking bitter things. "I should just die.. I just annoy everyone.." you say. "That's not true.." she says. "I just.. I just don't deserve life and happiness.. I should go to hell." you say criticizing yourself. "Yeah! You should!" someone shouted from behind. You turn around and couldn't be more anguished. It was your beloved crush.

Even though you knew that he always was this malicious and rude, this time you couldn't endure it. Crying, you rush off to the school roof. You friend shouts, "Y/N!!!" and runs to call for help. After you reaching the rooftop, you stare down at the beautiful, tall buildings. "Goodbye.. Hope you all will find happiness and remain safe.." you say smiling and then jump... BAM!! You hear the roof door open and think, "It's probably the cops.." and soon after that you lose consciousness.

Slowly after that, your eyes start opening and hear people crying mourning. "My head hurts.." you think just after waking up. Instantaneously, new memories come in your mind.. memories that did not belong to you... A gullible girl who looks a lot like you got tormented by a bunch of people who looked liked inferior rank servants. Their clothes... looked like the historical dresses you saw while reading novels and mangas.

They did that upon the orders of a well-dressed and noble lady who appeared to be the Queen of Li Kingdom and your step-mother. The girl's name was Li Xue and she wasn't able to tolerate this hellish torture any longer. She tried to commit suicide countless times but the step-mother and her step-sister wouldn't let her.. as they were afraid of something that might happen if she dies.. She did ask them this query but was poisoned by them on spot by a noxious wine... "Please find out.. Please find out why they did this to me? I had never harmed them in any way..." she calls for help to you. "Okay.." you say without thinking twice. She then smiles and cries blood before disappearing into thin air.

You then come to your senses and get up. "I have really travelled to some other universe.." you think. "Well.. Now that I am here.. I will patently try to help Li Xue.." you mumble in a low voice. Just then you see many servants on the group kneeling and one of them looks up and shouts, "Her highness! She is awake!" Each one of them looks up and start crying with jubilation. An elderly man stands up and says, "Your highness, how do you feel? Summon the Imperial Physician instantly!" That man seemed to be a very faithful servant of Li Xue and had been with her since birth. "I feel enervated and... t-thirsty.." you say with breaking voice. "Ah! Right.. Go bring some tea for Her Highness!" he instructs the servants. "And one more thing.. Please don't call me 'Her Highness" you say. Just then the servant returns with tea in her hand. You drink the tea and the man asks, "May I know what you meant by that?" "It feels weird when you call me Her Highness.. So please call me Y/N from now on.. I am not forcing anyone though.." you explain. "Yes, Your Highness / Y/N." the servants say.

Just then a tall and youthful man walks in. He looks at you with overwhelming emotions. "Greetings Your Highness.. We shall leave you.." the servants greet him and leave. "Your highness?" you think. Just then, you remember something else. This man, Ji Xuan is supposed to be your fiancé but unfortunately did not like you. He did show caring gestures but never ever liked you before. "So.. He is the tsundere type?" you think.

"Um.... Ji Xuan... Hi.." you say in a awkward way. He was still looking at you with disbelief when he suddenly came forward and hugged you. "You are Y/N!" he shouts. "What do you think you are doing?!" you shout trying to break the hug. "Why is he hugging me? Didn't he despise me?" you think. "Oh.. I am C/N... Hey.." he says after breaking the hug. "What?" you ask in confusion. "I am C/N.. Also I am so sorry for saying those upsetting words to you before.." he apologizes. "Oh.. It's fine.. But how- how did you come here?" you ask out of curiosity.
