1 Chapter 1: Just the beginning

Running with all his might. Max's mind was rasing as he runs his heart full of fear whatever was chasing him was nonhuman and angry "what have you done this time max!?" his sister Mia yelled through the phone so sure it was a prank "I'm sorry I love you with all my heart this time ..... I'm not coming back" max said eyes filled with tears just then and there she heard a single scream then slick eerie silence

a month later they found his body torn to the bone how he died is still unknown but his last words linger in the back of his sister's mind "this time..... I'm not coming back" on repeat on and on again as she couldn't help but feel it was her fault it was her fault she didn't tell anyone where he was or what he was doing "why ..... why did you leave me" she murmured to herself.

The summer holidays will be over soon she will have to walk alone to school and back she is most likely to get bullied nonstop because of her messy brown hair and her old worn out clothes the summer holidays went bye fast she stayed in bed reading all holidays soon enough she was walking the hallways of cranbry high.

Apparently there was a new kid in our town this is a BIG fuss especially if it's a boy and luckily for Mia it was. Now all the attention is on him Dylan nightman a very tough looking person with dark brown eyes and thick black messy hair cut every girl was practically drooling over him all except Mia.

Mia is a unique person like 1 in a million Mia here can see ghost she could since she was born and still could it was a thing that was passed down to her from her mum's side Mia had a subtle look messy brown hair, blue eyes, pale skin, and torn clothes. She was the silent nose in a book type she had only one friend and that was Jake a ghost she helped find his killer and put him in jail and now Jake is a part of her life (ghosts have subtle glows).

As Mia walked down the halls silently she See's two of the meanest girls you will ever meet Lea and Abby bulling Alex a geek in there eyes. But to Mia she had a mysterious glint of beauty she watched Lea and Abby continued to kick and tease Alex. Fed up with it she yelled "hey stop it!" soon regretting her giant outbreak of courage "what do you want miss hero" Lea said with a wide wicked grin " p-please leave her alone?" Mia said her voice obviously shaky (what am I thinking why do I care I shouldn't be afraid I want to die anyway I don't mind a little beating) as Lea and Abby laugh Mia says with all her courage " you two assholes should really leave her alone" trying to distract them and it was a total success. "what did you say creep" Lea said "I said you two shitty assholes should leave her ALONE" Mia said this time happy that she's saying the one thing that lingered in her chest for years " well we are gonna have fun with you!" Lea said. Mia was happy as ever to get punched she didn't care anymore.

Suddenly a tall cold body was blocking Lea from touching Mia. As the hallway gasped in shock Mia opened her eyes in front of her was a dark haired roguishly handsome (glowing) young man. As Mia stood frozen from anger the mysterious figure said slowly as if saying to a dumb puppy "I think you should go" the two girls smiled shyly then bolted down the halls embarrassed as if caught naked.

As the mysterious figure turned around Mia was surprised to hear "Hello Mia, nice too meet you, your brother told me lots about you" he didn't seem like he was teasing he seemed genuinely normal. Mia turned walking as fast as she could blood boiling hotter than lava as mysterious figure chased after her and grabbed her arm "hey did I say something Wrong?" he said surprised at Mia's reaction "listen here BUD don't talk about my DEAD brother like you know him!"
