1 Reincarnation

When you think of wishes, most will naturally ask for self-interest. They may wish things for others' sake but that is because they themselves will gain something from it.

This is not a story. Everybody values their gain. There are those who will try to hide it as much as possible but will secretly be the ones to gain the most from it. The world isn't so kind. Adults who part take in it know that more than anyone else.

But that is not the case for me, no. I'd wish for the opposite. I'd wish for a thrilling, hard mode and dangerous life. I'd wish for endless life challenges. After that, I'll overcome those challenges after I'm half dead. Don't you think that'll be the most exhilarating experience of all?

Don't complain because you didn't have it, be happy because you could experience obtaining it. If not, then what am I supposed to be? Give me an answer because I don't want to be just a meatball of talent.

You keep saying those but hadn't you been born without that talent and riches then you would be the one complaining. That I understand, but it already happened so what's the point in complaining?

As my thoughts got the best of me, I continued to drive my way to my destination.

Phone calls kept ringing in the background as I maxed the volume of my favorite song played on my car's radio. Soon my parents were the ones calling but I ignored those, too. Why bother with parents that only gave affection whenever they wanted something? You wouldn't bother either, right?

Soon they hacked into my device and forced a call.

Irritated, I threw away my phone outside the window and watched in my side mirrors as it was crushed under the tires of the vehicles before me.

Soon after, I arrived at my final destination. The Inferno Grand Canyons. It was quite near where I lived for obvious reasons.

I opened the door of my car and walked out only to get multiple lasers pointed at me. The people that recognized me reported to their higher-ups and ordered his squadmates to lower their guns. Such things were not an enemy of mine so that was pointless.

He went up to me and asked why I was here only to be ignored by me.

The officer tried to stop me by going in front of me as I walked towards the front gates. Beyond is my resting place, under the earth with the raging winds, that is where I'll be spending the rest of my life.

The officer started pointing their guns at me again, but I still didn't care.

I touched the gates and the officers started shooting at me. I didn't bother dodging nor blocking as my skin will do that for me.

I readied my fist and unleashed a hand-to-hand finisher, making a hole just enough for my small and petite body to fit in. It was necessary if I truly wanted to force open the gates.

I once read a religious book stating that killing one's self is the greatest sin man could ever attain.

Suiciding guarantees that your next life is nothing but suffering. Just what I wanted.

Call me a masochist all you want but I'm not staying put. I want a life that I will enjoy.

I long jumped towards the canyon just enough for me to land right beside it.

My clothes are torn and my chest is showing but none of that matters, I don't have a chest, to begin with. All that matters is that I can end all this now. I'll live a life full of suffering and thrill.

I, Raquel Crimson, highest in command of the Cloud Empire, am resigning and shall end this colorless life here.

Despite all that, I sure hope that someone out there will sincerely grief at my death or thank me.

With a tear building up in my eyes, those were my last thoughts before I let myself get torn to shreds by the strong and blazing hot winds of the Inferno Grand Canyon.

*At a certain dungeon*

My consciousness is fading…

My head feels dull and my right leg feels empty…

It also feels like I am getting carried poorly by someone…

When I was confused with what was going on I heard voices and suddenly felt high pressure on my back for a split second.

"We don't kela por in kere party, labka torbade too useless! Arkol de laberda there for kera Li ka!" I heard a man say words that I both understood and did not.

footsteps soon faded into the distance as I laid down wherever I was…

Soon, my consciousness left me and I fell asleep…

*****

I had committed suicide in the Inferno Grand Canyons.

When I came to I was in space, I hurried and held my breath to not die of lack of oxygen, then I remembered that I had killed myself.

Is this the afterlife?

As I was pondering about where I was, the stars suddenly started moving, no, I started moving. If the stars are moving out of my sight this quick then I must be going thousand of times the lightspeed.

There was no thrilling feeling, however. Possibly because I only had my sense of sight. I don't even know if it is right to call it the sense of sight as it felt like nothing.

I feel nothing. Literally.

While I was busy contemplating about my nothingness, a solar system started to come in the middle of my sight. I say middle because I can't move it to my will.

It got closer and closer with each passing second, nay. I didn't have a sense of time. It is highly possible that I was going at it for billions of years without me knowing.

A planet similar to earth was in the middle of my sight. As if I was heading there specifically.

No, it is precisely because of that.

Will I crash? That's how it seemed to me, but then again, do I have a physical form to even collide with the planet.

The distance between me and the land was closed in an instant. I phased through the soil and went underground. It was dark for a moment but because of my speed, I quickly made it past that.

What surprised me was I had stopped, in a cave, with a dead body under me.

My surrounding started to glow, I started glowing if that's right, "I" slowly crumbled and some of "me" slowly went inside the body I was just looking at.

The body started glowing too, and when that happened I saw what it looked like.

It was a girl that had ears that belonged to a cat. A catgirl?

I examined the body in front of me when I was suddenly got deprived of my conciousness.
