47 A New Character?

=The Next Day=

Krieg came, Nami left, Hawk-Eye came and cuts Krieg's ship. Rin is on her ship, to keep it stabilize so that it doesn't sink.

'I think the ship is stabilize now... It's amazing how much ruckus Hawk-Eye causes just from being bored.' Rin thought.

She went inside the Baratie from the back door to check the situation.

'Nobodies here? Oh, right... Zoro is probably fighting Mihawk in front of Baratie right now.' Rin thought.

She went to the front of Baratie and sees Luffy telling Johnny and Yosaku to not intervene with Zoro's fight.

"What happened, Luffy?" Rin asked.

"?!" Luffy turned around when he heard Rin's voice but turned back to keep a watch on Zoro's fight. "Zoro is fighting a strong person." He answered.

Rin look at Johnny and Yosaku who is focused on Zoro's fight. They didn't notice Rin's presence so she went near them and asked "Johnny, Yosaku, what are you doing here?"

"Huh?" They both turned around and sees Rin. "Rin! A-Aniki is fighting Hawk-Eye!!" Johnny said. "Will Aniki be alright..." Yosaku said.

"I'm pretty sure he'll be okay. Hawk-Eye is a honorable swordsman, he'll respect Zoro's dream so I don't think he'll kill Zoro." Rin said.

At that moment, two of Zoro's swords broke from Hawk-Eye attack. He spread his arm as if asking to be cut. Hawk-Eye and Zoro talk about something before Hawk-Eye slash Zoro. Johnny and Yosaku instantly dive into the sea when Zoro fell to the sea. Usopp hop on to Johnny and Yosaku's boat to fetch Zoro.

After Johnny and Yosaku pick Zoro up and bring him to the boat, they start treating Zoro's wound.

Zoro raise his sword and promise to never be defeated again to Luffy. Usopp told Luffy he'll go and fetch Nami so make sure the cook (Sanji) join them by then. Luffy ask Zeff if he let him go if he defeats the Krieg Pirate.

Akiko, who came because she's bored, went besides Rin before asking "Are you going to help Luffy?"

"Well... I guess I could help fight Krieg... but then again I'm feeling lazy so I'll just stay here." Rin said while grinning.

"That lazy attitude of yours never changed huh..." Akiko said.

"Nope! And it never will!" Rin proudly said.

"You're not supposed to be proud about that..." Akiko said.

Meanwhile, somewhere in East Blue, the Going Merry is sailing towards Conomi Island.

Nami is pondering about Luffy and the others before crying and saying "I... I want to be free... Bellemere-san..."

"Is Arlong causing troubles again?" a voice is heard behind Nami.

Nami turned around and sees a girl standing behind her. Nami's eyes widened before asking "Y-you... What are you doing here?"

"You're going back to Conomi Island, right? I want to talk to Arlong. It seems he doesn't believe me when I said I have a similar ability as Madam Shyarly from Fishman Island. If he really doesn't want to change then he's going to get beaten up by someone."

"Is it... Is it true that Arlong will be defeated by someone..." Nami asked.

"Probably. Nothing is set in stone."

"... You should be strong enough to fight Arlong but... instead of trying to fight Arlong, you "talk" to him. Why?" Nami asked.

"Because... I think, he and I are quite alike. I told you, he have always been someone who hates humans but... the death of a person he respected is what triggered everything. Hatred... can darkened even the brightest light. He lost someone before, so he wants the people he hates to feel the same pain."

"..." Nami only keep quiet while remembering the time Arlong killed Bellemere. She still hates Arlong, even after knowing the truth about him but, she doesn't want to hold a grudge against him. In a way, she pity him.

"By the way, did you stole this ship?"

"Yeah, I stole it from some pirates..." Nami answered. "I don't know whether your prophecy is true or not so I still need to steal money just in case it's not true."

(A/N: A new character appears!! Who is she? What does she have to do with Arlong?? Why she wants to see Arlong????)
