3 Chapter 3: Training

Chapter 3: Training

Moori, who did now know who Berus was, just translated my wish.

Porunga's eyes glowed red again. This time though, it stayed red for about a minute.

He was probably just asking for permission for the transport. After all, they would not want to offend actual Gods.

And soon I once again felt the space warp around me.

"Well well, when a wish-granting dragon asked for permission to send a saiyan I thought my staff was playing tricks on me. Why did you want to come here of all places, Saiyan? You must know it is not safe for you here."

I smiled a little as I looked at the Angle of the God Of Destruction.

Whis, the Guide Angel Attendant of Universe 7's God of Destruction, Beerus, as well as his martial arts teacher.

"I came here for a trade," I said as I stood up, as Whis saw a mini-fridge floating beside me.

"A trade?" He asked curiously.

"Yes, a trade. I will give you delicious food, and in exchange you train me." I replied looking smug, as I put my hand in the fridge, and took out 2 instant-ramen packs which came with chopsticks and everything needed.

I felt a little weaker after pulling them out, but not too much.

Using it was pretty simple, I just had to imagine the food and pull my hand out.

"What is this?" He asks with interest. He put his staff aside as he moved at a speed at which I could not react and just stared at the Ramen Packets in interest.

"Instant ramen, one of the most delicious meals I have ever tastedl." I smirked.

(Time skip: 10 minutes)

"OMG!!! HOW GOOD CAN THIS DISH BE!" Whis shouted as he rolled around on the ground.

"So, can we go through with the deal?" I asked curiously.

Whis completely ignored me as he kept on eating the ramen and praising about how delicious it was.

He quickly finished his bowl and even drank the entire soup. He then looked towards my untouched bowl in interest.

I just sighed and gave the food crazed angel my bowl too, which he quickly finished and calmed down a bit.

"Of course, but this has to be kept secret from lord Berus." He replied after regaining his composure.

"Of course." I replied.

"Right, what's your name and how did you come here from Universe 6?" Whis asked.

"Universe 6?" I questioned, as I realized what he was going to ask. He seemed to have completely misunderstood the situation.

"Yes, universe 6. Since I cannot find your origin with my staff. You just showed up on the Namekian planet a while ago." Whis asked as he continued to stare into his staff.

I decided to be honest, no point lying to an Angel.

"I actually came from outside of the universes under the control of the Omni-King." I replied.

"Ah, you're from those universes. I see…well, it's not that it matters. You aren't the first, and will not be the last." He replied with a knowing smile.

I decided not to push my luck since it seems my identity would be safe for now.

"Right, Whis, I can only stay here for 7 more days, is there anyway I can train in a place where time is slowed down?" I asked.

"Hmm, I can manage that." He said as he tapped his staff twice as I moved to a misty area.

It was similar to the one Goku and Vegeta used but this mist was purple in color.

"Right, what is your name?" Whis asked.

"Arcadia Locks."

"Right, firstly, I will teach you the basics of using Ki. Then, we will increase your Ki until you have enough to master a different type of energy."

'He probably means God Ki.' I thought.

And with that, started 9 months of continuous training.

(Time skip: 9 months: ¾ day)

(Whis Point of View)

This Saiyan is definitely not as simple as he seems.

About 20 minutes into training him I had realized that he also had the Frost Demon Bloodline within him and I questioned him about it.

After all, Frost Demons reproduce asexually, and for one of those arrogant races to have a saiyan offspring, is shocking to say the least.

He just mentioned that he showed up with the bloodline as he entered this universe.

While I knew that he wasn't telling the entire truth, I did not pry.

When I first started to train him, he seemed like nothing special.

He wasn't as battle crazed as the other Saiyans Lord Beerus and I have met a couple of years ago, nor was he as egotistical as the Frost Demons.

He also did not have the 'Warriors Pride' that the Saiyans are so proud about. He just seemed to be training for the sake of it.

He did not have any goal in mind and thought that I would baby him every step of the way.

Oh boy was he wrong. After all, while I was tempted by the delicious types of food he had shown me, I take my job as a Martial Arts instructor equally as important.

I still remember that conversation I had with him.

(Conversation from the past, Whis recalling)

I dodged another one of Arcadia's punches, which did not have any intention behind it and asked while he continued.

"Why are you training?"

He seemed confused by my question and stopped.

"I am training to get stronger." He replied like it was normal.

"But if it is the strength you want there are easier ways." I said casually.

He should also know that there are some easier ways, such as the Super Dragon Balls.

He replied while casually saying," there isn't enough time to go for the Super Dragon Balls for me."

"So you would if you could?"

"No." He said while shaking his head slightly.

"The Super Dragon Balls can only get me so far. There are people way stronger outside of these universes." He said.

I didn't know who he was talking about, since anything regarding the universes outside of the Omni-Kings domain is only known to the Omni-King and the Grand Priest.

"Why do you need strength?" I asked again.

This time however he did not reply.

He seemed to be thinking about something…or more specifically, someone.

"I don't need strength. I want strength. I want it because with it, I can do whatever I want. I can prove people wrong. I will be looked up to and respected." He replied after a bit of hesitation.

"To be respected…do you think someone who is strong, cares about others opinions?" I asked, to which he replied swiftly.

"No. Someone who is truly strong will be able to control everything at will. They would not care about other people's opinions, since in the grand scheme of things it does not matter."

He seemed to have thought about this before. He then continued.

"However, first, I need to prove some people wrong. Some people doubted me. I need to make some of them regret…regret thinking they can have me as a secondary option." He replied with a bit of…pride?

It was my first time actually seeing pride from Arcadia so I was a bit shocked.

Well more than pride, it was self-respect.

"So you are training to get revenge essentially. Then what?"

"I don't know," He replied. "But until I get the satisfaction I require, I will continue to train for power."

"Alright then. From now on, I want you to think about it. Whatever revenge you wish to take, put your emotions into your attacks. Your attacks need to have meaning." I said.

He nodded and did as I told him to.

I needed him to let his emotions take over, so he could control them, because at the end of the day, the pinnacle of Martial Arts is 'Autonomous Ultra Instinct.'

Autonomous Ultra Instinct- at this state the culmination of one's martial arts training is shown. With each part of their body able to think and act on its own, the user of this technique is able to automatically react to any situation or threat with the perfect move with perfect timing.

But to reach that state, he has to conquer his emotions, and let his own instincts take over.

He certainly did have the potential, with his 2 bloodlines perfectly synchronized, every transformation of his in the future should also be filled with extra power.

While he is far away, he might eventually reach the proper realm of the Gods power.
