10 10. Flying slash.
"Thank you for being patient with me.
I finally learnt how to do that."
Ethan said to Mihawk while smiling like a fool.
Ethan looked at Mihawk who was standing 12 steps ahead of him with a small knife in his hand.
Ethan swung the sword with such strength and speed that it created a powerful pressure in the form of a compressed air blade.
The air blade flew towards Mihawk and Mihawk also released an air blade that nullified Ethan's own and dissipated.
Mihawk was not called the greatest swordsman for nothing. He swung the sword with such a precision that the air blade created by Mihawk's swing was enough to cancel the air blade of Ethan and dissipate the same time because both the air blades cancelled each other.
Mihawk looks at Ethan and says with a smile
" You improved during a fight and managed how to do the flying slash attack.
I acknowledge that you have managed to surprise me but you are far from reaching the peak.\
Travel the world, gain knowledge and then after becoming strong come and seek me.
I will fight you again.
As a parting gift I will give you a wound that will not let you forget this defeat."
Mihawk took out his black blade and launched a flying slash attack at Ethan. The air blade flew towards Ethan and Ethan also launched an air blade to counter Mihawks but MIhawk's air blade cut right through Ethan's and created a huge wound on Ethan's chest reaching from left shoulder to right waist.
Ethan is gritting his teeth in pain while blood is pouring out of his wounds. Even then Ethan is standing straight.
Ethan looks at Mihawk and says
"The day is not far when we will fight as equals then I will surpass you.
I already know about Haki and I am in the process of learning it."
After hearing about Haki from Ethan's mouth Mihawk was very surprised because if someone has knowledge about Haki while being in the four seas and not in Grand line or New world that person cannot be ordinary.
The only way a person can know about Haki if he/she has traveled to the end of Grandline or stepped into the New world or someone that knows haki imparts the knowledge to him/her.
That's why Mihawk was surprised because if Ethan is from the Grandline and New world or Someone imparted the knowledge, either way Ethan is not ordinary.
After this revelation Mihawk was happy for sparing Ethan's life.
Mihawk didn't loose his calm and looking towards Ethan says to Ethan
"Don't keep me waiting for long."
Then he jumps into the coffin boat and sails away.
After Mihawk goes Ethan collapses on the ground and stares at the blue sky.
"Do you need a senzu bean?" Ethan asks to Zoro seeing him lying on the floor.
"Nah. I would like this would to heal on it's own." Zoro replies to Ethan with a grin.
"HAHAHA." Ethan laughs with Zoro and Ethan says
"Get a doctor to stitch our wounds."
A man comes and stitched both Ethan and Zoro's wounds and goes away. The doctor was surprised seeing how a person was alive after such wounds.
"Zoro, Usopp, Johnny " Ethan calls out after getting up and sitting on the ground while folding his legs.
They all look towards him then after seeing that he had their attention Ethan starts talking.
"Luffy will protect the Baratie and after finishing the job, he will come to Arlong park with Yosaku.
We will head towards Arlong pirates and see what this fuss is all about."
"Okay then, let's head out."
Zoro replies to Ethan.
They start o prepare the boat for the departure and Ethan talks to Luffy.
"Luffy, We are going after Nami. After dealing with the Krieg pirates come to the island where Arlong park is. Nami is headed there."
Luffy nods to Ethan's words but then tilts his head and looks confused.
"Wait something is wrong."
Luffy says to Ethan.
"What?" Ethan asks to Luffy stopping himself from laughing after seeing Luffy tilt his head.
"I'm the captain. Shouldn't I be in charge to decide where to go and give orders?"
Luffy asks sounding confused.
Ethan startes to laugh and says to luffy after he finishes laughing.
"Yes, you are the Captain. You will be in charge when I am not in charge and right now I am in charge."
Ethan says to Luffy and walks towards the small boat where Zoro, Usopp and Johnny were waiting for himn after patting Luffy's shoulder.
Ethan gets in the boat and tells Johnny to sail towards Arlong park.
He sits down on the floor and looks towards Zoro. He sees the wound and takes out two containers that contain healing ointments that help to help wounds heal faster.
"Here apply these on your wounds."
Ethan throws one to Zoro and starts to apply the ointment on his wounds.
After applying the ointment on his wounds he sees Zoro just holding the container but not applying the ointment in it.
"Zoro don't be stubborn. It will not heal the wounds completely like the beans before. It will only help to close the wounds faster.
I feel we will have to fight again. So apply the ointment without holding to your stubborn pride."
Zoro looks at Ethan for a few seconds then starts to apply the ointment to his wounds.
Ethan looks towards Usopp and says
"Usopp if there is a situation where we will have to fight, you will also need to fight, So prepare yourself."
Usopp's legs start to shake and he starts to mumble something but Ethan doesn't pay attention
to Usopp and starts to look at his status page.

During the fight when Ethan had unlocked his sharingan he had seen the energy inside of Mihawk's body. He figured out that it was spiritual energy needed to use Haki.
He gained some insights into all three types of Haki.
He sat down in the position of meditation and tried to coat his body in a layer of Spiritual energy, His skin didn't turn black but he felt that his body was more durable than before.
Then he tried to use observation haki he could feel three presences around him but he couldn't distinguish who was who from the presence alone.
In conquerors haki he released a small burst of pressure.
"What was that?"
Usopp asks from the side.
Ethan opens his eyes find all three people looking at him.
"What happened?"
Ethan asks to them.
"You were sitting with your eyes closed then all of a sudden a burst of air blew and we all felt chills."
Zoro replies to Ethan looking curious.
"I am training a new technique."
Zoro and Usopp nodded. They knew better than to ask Ethan about his training. Once they had asked and they almost went crazy seeing Ethan train.
From their point of view Ethan would sometimes play with different metals, sometimes throw knives on the ground then disappear and appear at different places, sometimes 5 Ethan would be doing all those things at the same time.
So they never asked about his training in detail.
"What training, big bro Ethan?"
Johnny asked from the side.
"It is called conqueror's haki. Very few people have it in the whole world. Those who can master it can defeat enemies very weaker than them without even touching them."
"That's so cool big bro Ethan." Johnny says while looking impressed.
"HAHAHA, It is , it is." Ethan says while laughing
He looks at the status page again and he can see that he also has made progress in parallel thinking and now he can have 4 thought processes running at the same time.

Ethan heard Raven's voice in his head and she sounded pissed.
{Yeah I could have died today.}
Ethan accepted Raven's words. He was very close to death today. Had it been anyone else other than Mihawk he could have died.
{I will tell you the same thing you told Zoro. Give up your stubborn pride and take some abilities from the system that will be helpful for you.}
Raven sounded like an older sister scolding her brother for doing something dangerous.
[I wanted to go slow and steady learning things slowly but I guess it's just wasting time.
I will need three abilities then
1. For sensing danger and that sort of stuff so I can deal with them easily
2. Regeneration , but I don't want to use the ability of Deadpool. Once a person thinks he's unkillable he lets his power get to his head. He also stops growing stronger.
3.He wants a ability to helps him learn things faster. He feels that he is going slow.]
After thinking things through he asked Raven to give show him abilities related to what he asked and he looked at the status page
[Physiology
3455. Phoenix Physiology
The user can transform into a phoenix, a legendary creature signifying purity, rebirth and immortality.User with this ability either can transform into a phoenix of divine nature, purely godly being of the sky. Much like any divine beast he can be both divine and natural, having complete dominion over their concept of being everything connected to them fundamentally the sky.
The user can use pure white flames that can burn anything even other flames which is the bane of demonic and evil entities.
After possessing this physiology the user's tears gain healing property that can heal almost all wounds.
The user's wounds will heal very fast and can regrow limbs to. If the user dies the users body burns and turns into ash and he can resurrect himself through the ash better and stronger than before.
The user can turn his whole body into flames ]

After seeing what Raven chose for him Ethan was shocked.
[ Damn, If I take this from the shop I will be Op. I will not be unkillable and it also has regeneration that I had asked for. Let's see what she chose for other two then I will think of taking this or not.]

The ability to instantly gather and understand any knowledge via supernatural means.
The user can gather and assimilate any kind of knowledge and understand it fully and instantaneously, this can happen in two ways:
Passively: when the user reads, sees or hears any concept they will understand it completely, whether it is natural or supernatural. If the user comes into contact with any piece of "information" that is wrong, they intuitively know this and can discern what is correct and what is wrong.
Actively: when the user wants information/knowledge they acquire it instantly and use it perfectly, e.g. the user can gain the skills and knowledge of a doctor to heal someone or gain the experience and skills of a master martial artist for fighting. ]

[Damn. If I take these abilities I am going to be Very Op. Cosmic awareness will help me aware of dangers for me beforehand. I will be able to learn skills very fast, see through lies, and other things with instant learning and with Phoenix physiology I will be able to preserve my life.
What to do. I will be truly enjoy life with the help of these abilities and not struggle each and everyday to increase my strength.]
