"Why, did you go?…"

[6 Years ago, Kenryoku]

Since the dead of Akane's father, Akane has lock herself in her room for several months. Her father was killed in action, and she saw it by herself, her father died by the hand of Zosce. It caused her to have trauma, and mental problems. Asagi would check on her, and sometimes talks about her problems by sitting outside her room, though no reply was given, until Mizuki, Akane's sister tells her to go home, she tells her that, "it's no use. Please don't waste your time here. You also has things to do aren't you?" As Asagi would always reply, "No, it's fine, I will try to make her better and go out from her room. And about my own business…I can take care of them." Asagi would always reply with a smile.

And the worse thing is, Akane didn't care much. Until one day, she noticed Asagi didn't come to her again, since, Asagi will always be in front of her door 2 times a week. But she never come again. Akane then decide to come out at least one time, to find out where she was going. As she got dress first, and fix her messy hair, and wash her hair. She take a deep breath before opening the door, she almost forgot what her house looks like.

She goes to the living room, her sister was not in sight, and the house is quiet. She probably in her part time job. She open the door to head outside, ad is a little surprised by the fresh air, the brightening sun, and the scenery of Kenryoku. "How long was I locked myself in?" She mutters feeling relief of going outside. She then take another deep breath, and was about to take another one until she remember what her objective is.

She runs to Asagi's house, she almost trips multiple times in her way, the sensations is different. Asagi's house is a couple blocks away from her house, it's near, from her house to Asagi's, though her energy didn't last long and pants when she arrive in front of Asagi's house. She holds her hips in exhaustion, she can't believe she got tired just because running a few blocks.

She clears her throat and adjust her clothes, trying to look nice, she take a deep breath and knock on the door. The door shortly was opened, she was expecting it to be Asagi but it was her mom. "Are you Akane?" She asks, "…Yeah?...Why?" Akane asks confusedly. "It's been so long! Why haven't you come out from your room until today? A lot of things happened!" Asagi's mom smiles greeting her. As Akane chuckled, "how long was I in my room?" She asks, since she can't remember how long she locks herself in.

"6 months! I'm glad you actually choose to go out! Come, come, I will serves you a tea." Asagi's mom said dragging her in, "uhh...but, I didn't come to drink some tea…" Akane said trying to reject her invitation nicely. "I insist! Please sit down! I'll be back!" Asagi's mom said pushing her to the couch, as she goes to the kitchen.

Akane sighs and looks around Asagi's house. Things has changes, a lot of things has changes in her house. Paintings is on display, and several more things. What catch her eyes is, a clock that hangs on the wall, which she doesn't get, she walk to the hanging clock, and poke the screen. She hears the tickling sounds, and gets annoyed, she frowns and leaning close to the clock, confused about what is the meaning of the tickling sounds.

She looks closely at the clock, the numbers, and the moving pointers. Somehow, the longer pointer is moving more faster than the shorter one. 'Why can't it move at the same speed?' She thoughts. She sees a tiny door above the clock, and lean in close to it. It was fine, until the tiny door opened as a bird comes from it. Akane falls backward in shock, her eyes shows terror, as she was about to bit her wrist to use her magic, but Asagi's mom comes to the living room.

"What's wrong?" She asks, a tray with some tea on her hands. "W-What is that?" Akane asks, stopping herself from biting into her wrist. "That's a clock, what's with it?" Asagi's mom said putting the tray down on the table. "Clock? What is that?" Akane ask while dusting her clothes off. Asagi's mom giggles and explain to her, "A clock silly, it tells us what time is it now. You see? Those pointers? The long one's is telling us the seconds, while the short one is telling us hours. And it's 10:30 now." As Akane nods in understanding.

Akane then remember what she is here for. "Miss Wakamaru…may I ask? Where is Asagi?" She asks staring at Asagi's mom face, "She's in Gijutsu. Taking part in audition to be a member of C.P.D." Asagi's mom reply. "…Gijutsu…C.P.D…" Akane mutters feels like she hears it somewhere when she was still lock herself in her room. She heard it from Asagi, who keeps her accompany in her time locking herself up.

"Hey…I'm gonna go to Gijutsu. To take audition for C.P.D., why I want to be one of them? I want to helps the peoples. I want to make sure they have a good life. And I will make sure your doing fine." Akane remembers the words Asagi tells.

"Can I meet her?" Akane ask Asagi's mom, "I'm afraid no…C.P.D. members is refrain from meeting, talking to others citizens." Asagi's mom said feeling sad that she can't meet her daughter. "What? What kind of rules is that? That f*cked up." Akane said can't believe what the rules is. "I'm sorry. But it's the truth." Asagi's mom said apologizing, "...Then, please excuse me. I have to go." Akane bows before going outside Asagi's house.

She keeps cursing about how f*cked up the rules is. But she didn't give up that easily. First, she need to refine her body. It's gotten weary. Asagi is not on her side for now, and there's no reason to whines, she just have to do her hardest by herself and meets Asagi as soon as possible. "I'm coming, Asagi." She said, a smirks form on her face.
