57 Plane trip!

"Yes! Get me that beautiful plant in exchange!!!" Nicholas shouts pointing to the screen. "Shut up!" Chiharu yelled and smacked the back of his head, as he falls to the ground, holding the part where she slapped him. "Ouch! Why are you so mean?" Nicholas sniffled on the ground, "Enough of your crappy acting!" Chiharu scoffed and crossed her arms looking away.

"So…where is the plant?" Hector asked, Nicholas quickly get up from the ground and pressed another button on the remote, showing their locations. "The tallest mountain! Ardanzal Mountain!!" Nicholas shouted with full excitement, and received another slaps from Chiharu.

"Ardanzal…it's in…Land of Wisdom? That's far from here!" Zeolite said. "Please! So I can finish my project!" Nicholas bow down on his knees. "D-Dad!" Chiharu said crouching beside him.

Zeolite thinks for a while and looked at his teammates. "Can we? I mean it's gonna take 2-3 days to get there…" He said, "We're gonna have to tell Master about our absence…but, I'm not sure at how he will reacts…" Theresa said biting her lips, "Can't we just use Teleportation Spell?" Ashley asks poking her head in, "That's gonna consumes a lot of Mana!" Hector said to her, he finally use his brain.

"Not just that, I hardly find any Teleportation Spell in the Magician store." Zeolite said holding his chin, frowning. "That's weird…aren't the stock always overload?" Theresa asks, "You're right, and that is suspicious, how can something so many like that disappears?" Zeolite said trying to find a clue about their disappearance.

"We have to accept his orders, he helped us with Celine." Hector said to his teammates as he looks back from his shoulder to Dr. Nicholas and his daughter. "Yeah, besides, more adventures!" Ashley cheered excitedly.

Hector looks at his teammates once again, looking for answer, Zeolite nods, Theresa raises her thumbs, while Ashley grins widely. Hector nods and look at Dr. Nicholas who is holding a tab. "We accept." Hector said, Dr. Nicholas looks up from his tab and look at him, "Really?!...well, you don't have any choice though." Dr. Nicholas shrugs, he then press a red button on a big table in front of them.

"Since you guys agree to help me, let me help you once again!" Nicholas beamed as the floor under them budge, surprising them, the floor then slowly rises up. "W-What is this?" Hector asks looking at the floor he's stepping on. "Oh my god! This is cool!" Ashley said completely amazed. "Hahaha! Glad you like it!" Nicholas said excitedly, as the ceilings above them opens up, meeting them with the clear sky.

The floor stops moving when they are up on the roof, Nicholas grab another remote from his pocket and press the red button. They heard heavy door being lifted, as another lifting sounds were heard, the roof besides them then opened up too, a plane then appears from there.

"Whoa!! A plane!" Ashley said excitedly as she runs to it, but Zeolite grabbed her back collar. "Don't." He said and put her down, as she huffs her cheeks and crossed her arms in annoyance.

"I present you! My 2nd project! Skylark 2.0!" Nicholas said proudly, presenting his beautiful plane to them. Two wings at the same length, propeller engine on both wings, on the back of the wings, there is flap near the cockpit and aileron besides the flap. Behind the cockpit, it has a cabin, enough for 4 people to fit, and behind the cabin, it has a tail, with rudder on a vertical position, and elevator in horizontal positions. Both of them are an important part to keep the plane stable. While the front of the plane, it had another propeller engine on it nose, spinner in the middle of the propeller, and the engine on the side.

"Amazing! How can you build something like this, Dr. Nicholas?" Theresa asked completely stunned, "Ohoho! That's a secret!" Dr. Nicholas laughed, he cleared his throat, and stares at the others. "Alright! Two people will be the pilot! Chiharu! I trusted you with my beautiful Skylark 2.0! don't disappoint me!" Dr. Nicholas said ruffling his daughter hair, "Jeez! Don't mess my hair!" Chiharu protested and fixed her hair.

"Then…who's the other one?" Hector asked, "That's the problem! Does any of you can do the job?" Dr. Nicholas asked looking at them. Ashley was about to raises her hand, until Zeolite interrupted her. "I can." He said raising his hand. Hector looks at him and scoot closer to him, "Really? You never does that though." He said eyeing suspiciously at him. "I've never shows you because I don't want to." Zeolite said pushing him away.

"Is that so, Zeolite?" Dr. Nicholas asked, "Yes, I'm sure I'm capable of being a pilot." Zeolite said with full confident, since he is one of the pilot back then. "I guess I can trust you." Dr. Nicholas shrugs and toss him a headphone with a mic connected to it. "Ah…this…" Zeolite muttered staring at the headphone, as he remembers using this on his dark times.

"Get in, get in! Don't worry! The plane has a washroom! But don't use it very often! And I already packed the plane with foods! Have a safe trip! I will stay here, to keep an eye over the air traffic!" Dr. Nicholas said telling them to get in the plane.

The others has get inside the plane, sitting comfortably, except for the pilot, Zeolite and Chiharu. Zeolite is still staring at the headphone, many memories crossed his mind, until Chiharu's loud voices calls him. "Hey! Don't ignores me! Let's go! We need to keep going!" She said snapping him from his thoughts. Zeolite widened his eyes in realizations, and responds, "Sorry, lost in thoughts. Let's go." He said and went in the plane.

Zeolite follows Chiharu to the cockpit and sits on the chair beside her, plugging the plug in. He adjust the headphone, and adjust the mic. A voice then comes connected with their headphones. "Test! 1 2 3! Can you hear me? Chiharu, Zeolite?" Nicholas asked from the headphone, "Yeah, I hear you." Zeolite said resting his hands on the steering or the yoke. "Hear you dad." Chiharu said and went to activate a few button and knobs above them. " Great! I will lead you from down here!" Dr. Nicholas said.

Chiharu taps on his shoulder, as he looks at her, "Can you activate that? I'm out of reach." She asked pointing to a couple knob above him, "Sure." Zeolite responds and activate the knobs she points. "Done." Zeolite said and retracted his hand. "You seems to know what you're doing." Chiharu snickered, "I've already in the cockpit for a couple of time before. So I know the system." Zeolite said closing his eyes for a while. "When?" Chiharu asked, as she triggers Zeolite's locked past. "Can we start now?" Zeolite asks changing the topic. "Jeez, fine." Chiharu said annoyed and rolled her eyes to the side.

Meanwhile with the others, "Jeez, what were they doing?" Hector groaned, slumping on his seat, "They probably forgot the system, who knows." Theresa shrugs, she is sitting on the seat behind Hector while Ashley is asleep on her seat, which is across Theresa's seat and behind Celine's seat. She's exhausted from the day.

After a while, the plane take off and begin the trip. Meanwhile in the cockpit, Zeolite is staring in front of the window, focusing on the way, while Chiharu is asleep, snoring softly. They decided to take turns on driving, and Zeolite took the first turn for the next 12 hours.

It's been 6 hours in the plane, and it's 22:00, most of them are asleep, except for Zeolite, since he still got tasks to do, and it's driving the plane. All matters to him is peace, he can do anything if nothing interrupts him.

Another 6 hours has passed and it's now 4:00, right now is Chiharu's turns to drive. "I will get some coffee." Zeolite said taking off his headphone and put it on his seat, and leaves the cockpit to make get some coffee. He went to the food supply and search for a bottle of coffee, and went he got it, he went back to the cockpit.

After 2 more hours, Theresa woke up from her sleep, rubbing her eyes, and remove the blanket from her body, as she went to the washroom, to wash her sleepy face. After she was done, she wipes her face with the towel she brought, and went back to her seat, drawing something.

"How many hours to get there?" Zeolite asks while drinking the coffee. "24 hours if we don't encounter a storm. And if we encounter one, it's gonna be 26 hours." Chiharu replies, "I see…is there a way to prevent us from meeting one?" Zeolite asked, raising one of his brows, "I'm not sure. Try to find out with your capabilities." Chiharu replies.

Theresa yawned as she covered her mouth with her hand, "I should continue this later…" She mumbled and closed the book. Staring out the window, "I wonder…how many more hours to got there?" She asked herself.
